Visitors from Barcelona Marga Rodríguez, kinder garden teacher who has been experiencing VTS for 5 years, students from year 3 through year 5.. Lola Quirant, primary teacher who has been working as an art teacher for many years. She is a trainer on the STEAM approach related to Arts.
Montserrat Morales psychologist and educator, visual and plastic expert and trainer in the VTS methodology. He has advised and trained the education team of the National Art Museum of Catalonia and has developed the implementation at the Miquel Bleach School in the Tandem project. Goals for the Visit To learn about how we implement VTS in schools and across the curriculum and how to build involvement with the local community. To network with other people practicing VTS in Dublin city To visits schools/museums where VTS is implemented. To share the Barcelona project and begin to think about collaboration for an Erasmus+ programme To find schools in Ireland to be part of a project for expand VTS through KA2 Eramus+

Elena Lopez Cuenca – is a graduate in history and geography and lecturer in DCU. Her action-based classroom research examines new multimodal pedagogies in the Spanish as a second language classroom. Her approach explores a pedagogy based on active literacy practices in the classroom with the aim of allowing students to become active meaningmakers. In particular, her research evaluates how the use of paintings and Visual Thinking Strategies can support language teaching and learning. Erasmus+ Permission to Wonder / The Educators VTS Pathway
Esther Fuertes, historian of art, museologist and educator. Design and implement educational projects using the VTS from the Department of Education of the National Art Museum of Catalonia. Responsible for the Tandem project with the Miquel Bleach School, he has monitored the implementation of the VTS methodology in the school and collaborates with Montserrat Morales in the elaboration of the work materials of the methodology and in the training of educators of the museum. (She is part of the group but she is not coming this time)
