what is CULTOUR FORT? Innovative model of urban cultural tourism development that strives to integrate research and development approaches into a sustainable business model.

GOALS – to improve cities ‘innovation’ capacities for policy development and implementation – to improve year round tourism (in and off season) – to create added value – new tourist products and offerings (European, not just local/regional) – to revive this historical part of Osijek (Tvrđa),engage local neighborhood and different stakeholders that are now located in Tvrđa – help in creating the „Tvrđa” brand

A creative lab for urban and cultural tourism development • A creative - living lab for developing new integrated cultural and creative tourist products prototypes using „human-centered design” approach – Implements and supports scientific and social research and policy analysis in relevant topics (urban revitalisation, public space mangement, tourism...) – Develops a network of social innovators world-wide – A collaborative space for Tvrđa residence and guests

Center for Marketing & Sales (product and service placement) • provides visibility and sales of products and services sustainability • education in marketing and sales • service enterprises organized as social entrepreneurships, and part of their revenue is ensured for functioning of the center; in return they receive necessary infrastructure and support of the city • local businessmen involved • Creating the Tvrđa brand
