Shooting Scripts Lesson Objectives !

To understand the necessity of using a ‘Shooting Script’ in planning and carrying out a film shoot. To know how to effectively use a ‘Shooting Script’ for the preliminary task. To Develop skills in planning and ICT.
Learning Outcomes ! I can understand the
necesity of using a ‘Shooting Script’.
! I know how to effectively
use a ‘Shooting Script’ for my preliminary task.
! I can confidently use ICT
equipment to complete my own ‘Shooting Script’.
Why do I need a Shooting Script. ! The ‘Shooting Script’ accompanies the storyboard and
provides more of a schedule for the filming, usualy listed in order of filming. ! The storyboard will be chronological in relation to how the
narrative will unfold for the viewer. ! The ‘Shooting Script’ is arranged in order of filming which
is rarely chronological and more sensibily logistical. ! The ‘Shooting Script’ also lists equipment and people
needed for each shot.
