There is Hope!
There is Hope! Ezra 10:2 “…yet now there is hope…”
God is not just sending a message or a warning because He wants you to be lost, He’s reaching out His hands, He’s stretching forth His arms toward you saying:
Matthew 11:28-29 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Are you tired of laboring under the bondage of sin? Are you tired of chasing happiness only to end up with more and more misery and depression? Are you ready to forsake sin and give your heart to Jesus now?
Deuteronomy 4:29 “if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord…”
Whatever situation you find yourself in right now, wherever sin has dragged you, the Word of God says, “If from thence thou shalt seek the Lord.” If from that place, that circumstance, that messed up condition, you will seek the Lord.
You might be sleeping in the lowest gutter or have a penthouse suite, but if sin is working in your life you’re miserable, you’re in bondage, you’re in a messed up condition.
If you are without hope and without God in this world you are in a miserable state, but, “if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”
Repentance is two-fold; not only a turning to God, but a turning from sin. Most people will make some kind of effort to turn to God, but very few will turn from their sins in a real way.

There is Hope!
There is Hope! You must see sin as an enemy. You must realize the problem in your life is sin. You may have many negative situations working against you, but the cause of it all is sin.
The problem is you’re going against the very God that created you. You must turn from sin and seek God, you must repent of your sins with the intention of never going back into them again and seek God.
Isaiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
God is not a tyrant, He doesn’t want you to be lost and go to hell; He’s waiting to pardon you. He’s waiting to show mercy on you. He woke you up this morning with forgiveness on His mind.
Lamentations 3:21-26 “This I recall to mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
God is ready to pardon, He’s willing to forgive. Allow God into your heart, allow God to help you and change your life. Give God a chance…
Isaiah 55:6 “Seek ye the Lord while He may be found; call ye upon Him while He is near.”
2 Corinthians 6:2 “…now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
Realize you’ve sinned against God, realize that you can’t change yourself, humble yourself before God, and ask Him to forgive your sins and make you a new creation (ref. 2 Corinthians 5:17).
