AUGUST IS FOUNDATIONS’ MONTH

As the MAC embarks on its seventh annual Foundations’ Month, our successes can only be attributed to the support of our very generous Club Members. Philanthropy is alive and well at the MAC!

MAC FOUNDATIONS CORNER Leaving a Legacy

Throughout the month, our Members will have the opportunity to give to our 501(c)3 Foundations by adding a donation to your chit when you dine at the Club. This is an easy and convenient way to support our Foundations.

The MAC’s future depends on YOU, and we sincerely appreciate your support. All donations are tax-deductible.

SPORTS FOUNDATION

The mission of the Sports Foundation is to further, encourage and recognize outstanding achievements in the field of athletics and, in connection therewith, to select for public recognition those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to and achievements in the field of athletics.

CHARITABLE SOCIETY FOR CHILDREN

The Missouri Athletic Club’s Charitable Society for Children (CSC) is an extension of the Sports Foundation and a Club Within the Club. Its mission is to provide financial assistance to local St. Louis children’s charities and to give time and resources to the community. The charities are nominated by Members and employees of the MAC. The nominations are presented to the Charitable Society for Children Committee, which then chooses the three beneficiaries for the year. The CSC voted and decided on Covenant House, Girls on the Run and Kellsie’s Hope Foundation to be this year’s sponsored charities.

*The CSC Committee is a permanent committee of the MAC Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, which is eligible to receive tax-deductible donations.
