MAC FALL BASKETBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION
Registration for the MAC’s Fall Basketball League will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 8 a.m. to Thursday, Sept. 1, at 4 p.m.
This year, the Downtown Clubhouse will have two basketball leagues: F The Open league that will play on Monday and Tuesday nights F The Over 40 league that will play on Wednesday nights
Members can choose to participate in both leagues if they meet the age requirement for the Over 40 league.

Labor Day Hours
The Downtown Athletic Department will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, due to the Labor Day holiday. It will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 6, with regular hours.
PLAY PICKLEBALL!
MONDAY PICKLEBALL LEAGUE
The Missouri Athletic Club Pickleball League is designed to give participants competitive matches each Monday. Players will play three full games with randomly selected partners every week. Scores from each match will be recorded and tallied throughout the 10-week session. At the conclusion of the session, players will be seeded and placed in a bracket-style tournament according to their regular season results. A champion will be declared at the end of the tournament. AQUA ZUMBA
As things have heated up, the Missouri Athletic Club’s Zumba class moved to the pool! At the West Clubhouse, Members can attend Aqua Zumba on Tuesday and Friday mornings starting at 6:30 a.m. Aqua Zumba is a full-body, low-impact workout involving water weights and cardio activity set to music. This class is a great way to burn calories and hit the pool!

MAC Junior Squash Trains in the British Virgin Islands
The MAC squash junior program recently took summer training to the next level in the British Virgin Islands!
The Dembiec and Cusumano families trained with MAC Squash Pro Alex Ingham, Adam Murrills (Former World #70 and National BVI Coach) and the Junior National Team. They also watched an exhibition match between MAC Squash Pro Alex Ingham and Adam Murrills.
Training included various unique experiences the island had to offer: hiking, pineapple picking, surfing and boating, all while exploring the island and learning its history.

F It is advised for players to take individual lessons at least once a week to fine-tune technique.
ELITE ACADEMY (AGES 14+)
Tuesday, 4:45-5:45 p.m.; Thursday, 4:30-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 2-3 p.m F These sessions focus on advanced drilling, racquet work, learning how to link shot combinations together, executing match tactics and mental preparation. F It is advised for players to take individual lessons at least once a week to fine-tune technique.
