Youth Programs in Review

The MAC’s Youth Programs have been in full force this past month providing kids with several options to get out and about in a safe manner. The month started strong with Drop ‘n’ Shop, which offered parents time to get their Christmas shopping done while knowing their children are having fun at the West Clubhouse.

This year, the MAC also offered three different golf camps during the month. The Little Birdies Golf Lessons consisted of a five-week program for children ages 3-5. Youth Golf School acted in much the same way for children ages 6-12. Finally, golf pro Maria Palozola taught a special half-day camp on Monday, Dec. 28 for children in grades K-6.

Next, the MAC held Winter Break Camp on Dec. 18, 22 and 23. This camp featured plenty of fun games, crafts and activities including their new Gaga Ball pit. This event lasted from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. More specialty camps included Arts and Crafts Camp taught by guru Liz Hamilton, a “Cool Science” Holiday Camp brought to the Club by Mad Science, Bricks 4 Kidz Holiday Camp and Basketball Holiday Camp taught by MAC basketball pro Nicole Bushong.
