About

CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK IS A FULL-SERVICE, INDEPENDENT COMMUNITY BANK SERVING EIGHT LOCATIONS IN LOWER NORTHERN MICHIGAN; CHEBOYGAN, ONAWAY, MACKINAW CITY, PELLSTON, INDIAN RIVER, ALANSON, ROGERS CITY AND PETOSKEY. WE ARE THE LARGEST, LOCALLY-OWNED BANK IN THE NORTHERN LOWER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN. On January 24, 1931 the bank received its charter from the federal Comptroller of the Currency and is entirely owned by the CNB Corporation. Since that time, CNB has served the people and the communities of Cheboygan and over time added seven branch locations; Onaway, Mackinaw City, Pellston, Indian River; Alanson; Rogers City Loan Office in February 2015, and in August 2015, opened a full service branch in downtown Petoskey. In May of 2016, a downtown Drive Thru is opened in Petoskey. Citizens National Bank is in the same location as when it originally opened doors in Cheboygan. However, through the years the bank has purchased surrounding buildings both to the north and west and incorporated them into the existing structure which continues to house the main office.Â
