Welcome Thank you for joining us at the Center for our 5th anniversary!
Since opening our doors in 2018, we‘ve presented more than 200 performances and welcomed more than 75,000 visitors, including over 15,000 K-12 students. We’ve proudly collaborated with neighboring arts organizations including, the Crooked Tree Arts Center, Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, Bay View Music Festival, Blissfest, and Interlochen Center for the Arts. In 2020 and 2021, the Center became among the first in the nation to reopen safely, giving more than 75 artists their first chance to step on stage since the beginning of the pandemic. Lastly, the Next Gen and Dorothy Gerber Strings programs have served more than 40 schools throughout the region. This season's lineup truly has something for everyone and promises to be our most ambitious yet. The Center’s all-new production of Godspell is a joyful celebration of community and togetherness and a perfect trip to the theater for the whole family. We invite you to laugh with us when Saturday Night Live star Kevin Nealon makes his Center debut in July, and be inspired by the leadership and courage of Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney. In August, we welcome Joshua Bell, one of the biggest stars in modern classical music. Other late summer highlights include The Doo Wop Project, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and the Michigan premiere of Tuesdays with Morrie. Whether you are visiting or make your home in Northern Michigan year-round, we welcome you to our family. We’re proud of our first five seasons and look toward the future with great hope and determination. It’s an honor to steward this community resource and to play a role in the cultural life of our region. Thank you for supporting live performing arts, and we hope you enjoy the performance.

The next chapter...
With the Capital Campaign complete, the spotlight shifts now to other gifts that keep Center Stage shining bright. Perhaps it’s an education donation, a legacy promise, or a pledge to the Annual Fund. This generosity keeps the Center viable and vibrant, year-round, for all in Northern Michigan to enjoy. As we celebrate our 5th Anniversary Season, we thank those who have contributed to the Center’s operations for each of the past five years and express our sincere gratitude for all our donor family’s contributions—whether first or fifth. Such generosity has been vital to today’s success and paves the way for a sparkling future, too. If you are not yet involved, and would like to be, please give me a call. The best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to share it with you! With warmest regards,
