Visual Resistance Design context, inspiration and visual aid to my own practice.
Brief: Develop and design a publication that defines my own practice and all of the inspiration that revolves around it. Utilising your own skill set and techniques to explore, and create a publication that ultimately can be used as own overall reference to understanding my work as a designer.

Concept Focussing on blackletter type & red, black, white colour scheme. Relating directly to the context.
Each chapter is separated into a single publication, utilising the ‘Black Flag Logo’ as part of the identity, as this plays on the overall context of resistance. The bars are allocated numerically accordingly to the chronological steps. Overall this creates a series of four sections that build up my overall practice.

Product Series of four books containing contextual reference to my own practice and interests.
Printed publication complete with handmade DIY packaging to collate the series together as one. Stock choices resemble the overall aesthetic of the visual underground culture hardcore punk. This a direct relation to my overall insterests within design and subcultures that I predominantly base myself as a person around.

Product range and page spreads showing the overall impact of the design.
Product range expanded from the original publications, creating a set of posters that aid the context publication visually. There has been a colour pallet limitation delibrately to create a visual consistency and also relate with the DIY punk zine culture that the initial concept derived from.
