Lim Ah Moi Born to Lin Fan, the homemaker and Lim Chung Nan , the village head of Semaku island in the year 1990. She grew up on the tiny island, in the community of fishermens. Later on when all families moved out to the mainland, shifting to the bukit merah and Telok blangah HDB, the family of Lims refused to move. They continued to live there, till the last ferry was available.
Neymar was born to Venessa, the homemaker and local soccer player Arnold Cordeiro. He grew up with his elder brother Oscar at their small suburb in the city of Sao Paulo. He studied in the local school, learning soccer from his school teacher and father. He was one of the best in all tournaments and was representing school at different platforms.

Moi grew up in the HDB with other friends but her father remained attached to his native village. Moi was most close to her father being the single child. Mr. Lim bought the farms in the Lim Chu kang area along with few of his friends. She studied Horticulture from the Ngee Ann Polytechnic for her bacherlors and later on to pursue a masters in Agricultural Science College from the University of Colorado. She returns to Singapore to take care of her family and her father’s farm in Lim Chu Kang area. She was made the chairperson of the LCK farm assosciation after her food sustainability project at her HDB Block. She even gained recognition and a award from the singapore government after her work was published in the newspapaer. She decided to pursue the goal of her father to rehabilitate to Semakau island again and to work on the projects of food sustainability of Singapore.
In 2004, Neymar moved with his family to São Vicente, where he began playing for youth side Portuguesa Santista. Then, later in 2006, they moved to Santos, where Neymar joined Santos FC. It was in the July, 2007 that both of his parents died on flight Flight accident where both his parents died on flight from Porto Alegre to São Paulo, Brazil in the famous TAM Airlines Flight 3054. It was this unfortunate incident in his life that he got into depression. His father’s death came to him as shock and he took an year off from his professional career and moved to Suzana. ‘When they meet”
try to skip class but Neymar would make sure that she attends the class. Both of them became good friends in no time, with Neymar even visiting Lim family on weekend luncheons.
The story of two different people, with different background coming together for a better future.
Neymar came to the city, looking for some peace and to make a new life. Though this city was totally new, there was challenges with his broken English and figuring out things. He was enjoying it, as it keeps him free from any memories about his family. He mostly hangs out with his friends from club and a few others expats he made friends with. He joined the Samba classes, so as to polish his skills he learned from his mother. It was the 08 August 2014 at Canal road, that Neymar met Moi for the first time as she was struggling to collect her books from floor. Neymar helped Moi to collect her stuff and they both shared smile and greetings. It was mere coincidence that exactly three day after, Moi joined same Samba class. This time, Neymar didnt take much time to exchange numbers. Both of them were dance partners for the dance class, where Neymar was doing most of the work on dance as well as on charming her. He likes her simplicity and straight forward attitude. At times, she would
Moi also liked Neymar, but she was not sure if he was the right guy. It was after four months of meeting him and they formally went for a dinner date. The Mexican restaurant at the Sentosa has one of the most efficient waiter in the world. In just 45 minutes, they were out of the restaurant without both of them talking anything about their life or the proposal. Neymar got more and more restless as he was supposed to propose to Moi. Moi got the hints long before, but she was just testing Neymar’s patience. Later, after dinner when they went for the caramel mocha chocolate at Starbucks, they met few of Neymar soccer friends. They all went for Clubbing, it was in the influence of alcohol that Neymar proposed to Moi infront of all his friends. What followed later, was another party with Lim family. Moi gracefully accepted his proposal. She explains” There are not many people, who takes so much care of each detail. Moi was never so happy in life. Her proposal for the ‘Semakau Rehabilitation and Food sustainability’ also got the clearance for the final presentation to the cabinet. She was the force behind a dream of community and her ailing father. Neymar supported her cause like no one else, he did everything to keep her happy. He was equally puttinh his energy and time for the proposal by going to the surveys and by being at Moi’s side. His response on being asked by his friends, why is he doing so much for a project that shouldn’t concern him was ‘ Moi’s smile’. In the early January, 2015 both of them tied knots with friends and family flying from Brazil to Singapore. Also, the final date of the Cabinet presentation was very near with a lot of work yet to be done.
