CeBIT 2006: Easy Development of Database Applications for Java Platforms New InterSystems Partner Cutex Systems Presents XDEV 2 Development Tool Hanover, March, 09 2006 – At CeBIT 2006 (hall 3, booth C20), InterSystems for the first time joins forces with its new application partner, Cutex Systems GmbH. In addition, Cutex launches the new XDEV 2 Java development environment, enabling the easy development of complex database applications for Java platforms with an user-friendly graphical user-interface (GUI). The joint presentation gives visitors the opportunity to see for themselves how XDEV 2 facilitates the creation of efficient database applications based on InterSystems’ post-relational database Caché. Many database developers have been waiting a long time for a Java development environment like XDEV 2. Up to now, developing a professional java application normally requires a lot of programming effort. In contrast the new XDEV 2 supports the exclusively graphical development of database applications for Java platforms without any Java knowledge. XDEV 2 is a rapid application development solution for the graphical development of Java rich GUI clients, and Java web-interfaces, individual reporting solutions, and the cost efficient and safe migration of existing applications to Java platforms. XDEV 2 significantly reduces conventional development times, making XDEV 2 the perfect choice for time-critical software development projects. XDEV 2 plays off its strengths especially in combination with the Caché post-relational database from InterSystems.
