YEARS OF
THE BLACK LABEL Over the last ten years The Black Label has evolved into one of the premier Simmental based production sales in the Southwest due to one reason; the loyalty and support from our friends and customers. The countless Black Label success stories date back a decade to the inaugural sale. There have been major show breed champions, Junior National Champion Bred & Owned females, herd sires and donors produced from females and genetics that have sold across the auction block of The Black Label. Often times it’s forgotten in the junior livestock industry that we don’t have kids to help raise the cattle, but in fact we have cattle to help raise the kids. We thank you for your years of dedication, support, business, and most importantly, your friendship!

WELCOME TO THE 2019 FALL EDITION OF THE BLACK LABEL! It’s with great enthusiasm we introduce this deep offering of Simmental/SimGenetic open, bred and donor females along with a hand selected set of Red Angus, Charolais, and Hybrid females. The track record of success for this offering is not only proven on a state level, but nationally as well. The focus of the group is to breed and produce cattle that are physically superior in type and kind that young people and breeder’s alike can take home to enhance their program and exhibit competitively. The history and basis for the invention of The Black Label stemmed from a nucleus of people with involvement in the evolution of the Foster Brothers program. One could say it is a bit of a family dynamic as David and Jody, along with their families always made each one of us feel like we were more than employees; we were family. Joe Seale, Casey Hilmes, Josh Lesky, and I have been involved over the years in the building of that family program and invested back in those genetics during and after employment. Bird Cattle, Hidden Oaks Cattle, Walter Cattle Co., and Southern Jewel all seemed to be like-minded in the track to success. Their love and appreciation for good stock rivals any, raising the quality and caliber of the offering year after year. We are aware that your selection criteria gets more and more critical year after year, and we are also aware that you have the opportunity to buy your child’s next show heifer 7 days a week/24 hours a day off of social media posts or an online platform. With that said, we also are aware that many people believe that they are challenged to acquire “the best” we have to offer due to the amount of money some of the high sellers have brought in the past, so you go to the next sale or buy one on the net because it was the best one that particular sale had. The cattle with the best track records over the years of this event haven’t always been the high sellers or the cattle at the front of the sale order. In the past two fall sale offerings heifers purchased for $3,250 and $3,500 went on to be class competitors in Fort Worth, to class winners at San Antonio, to division champions at Houston, and the heifer purchased last year by the Sullivan family for $3,500 was Reserve Grand at Austin. The point is, this offering gets deeper and deeper every year, our 20th best heifer on sale day, more than likely will be better than the best heifer in other offerings. A live auction also gives you the opportunity to come look with your own eyes. It allows you to meet the people face to face who you are buying from and I promise the customer service will be better buying at The Black Label Event, especially if you are from Oklahoma or Texas. We believe in our genetics, we believe in what we do, and we believe in our customers and their futures as well. In regard to absentee/sight unseen purchases, we encourage interest even if you can’t attend. We feel strongly about representing the cattle to the best of our abilities and with utmost scrutiny and integrity. We feel confident as a group and team that each breeder and marketing agent has the skill set and ability to represent and evaluate the cattle to provide you with the best buying experience. We have sent a lot of sight unseen cattle over the years to countless satisfied and happy customers, but we know that somewhere along the way there might be that one that’s not satisfied. In that situation we strongly encourage conversation/communication and timely action. If you buy something sight unseen and you are not happy, please contact the representative or breeder you purchased the animal through and notify them within 72 hours of delivery so the matter can be resolved. This business is competitive, but we desire a positive, professional, long-term relationship with our customers and competitors and so our word and commitment to customer service and satisfaction is second to none. We want you to feel confident about the decisions you make, and we expect your utmost satisfaction with the business conducted here at The Black Label. Red River Farms will be having their second annual sale at their beautiful facility in Grand Saline on Friday evening. The Mullion family are great people with an insatiable appetite for quality and hospitality. They along with their guests, Buck Creek Cattle and Rocking P Livestock will have a stellar offering as well. Make it a Texas weekend and plan to attend both events. For folks traveling from out of state, it is just a short 90-minute drive between the two sales and we would love to see all of you at both venues and events. Thanks, so much for your valuable time and interest.

Where do we start with this great female? You can talk about the fact she combines two of the great families in the Ebony Antoinette and H25. Next, one might notice the female’s phenotype she possesses. Not to mention the outcross pedigree. Absolutely no Dream On, Lock & Load, or any of the popular sires of today are related. So the mating possibilities are endless. Finally, we look at actual production and this is where she truly shines above all others. She has an Average of $19,500 on 5 head through this very event and $4,250 average on her bull progeny, with two being retained for in herd use. This female has truly been a blessing for the Seamans Cattle Co. and My Family. It is with great hesitation that we offer her, but we always feel like we must offer our best! AI bred on 8/8/19 to the great Profit.

Tiara 131Z was campaigned by the Berry family early in her show career. This mating generated a lot of interest and competitiveness in it’s youth. A full sister, employed now by Red River, brought a significant amount in the Circle M Dispersal and had an awesome track record of producing sale topping, back drop achieving stock. This red baldy produced a 2018 Black Label high selling feature bred heifer to the tune of $33,000 a year ago. Bird Cattle Co won the race. Embryos from this female averaged over $1,000 a piece in the 2019 Cowtown Classic. This female sells open and ready to generate genetics and income.

JCBB Tiara G9131 is the result of our purchase from the 2018 Black Label Event. She was in utero of her $33,000 bred heifer dam that topped the bred division just a year ago! The power that backs this female on the maternal half of her pedigree is noteworthy. Her grandam, KCC1 Tiara 131Z is a Driver daughter that was produced in the Kearns Cattle Company program at Rushville, Nebraska. 131Z was selected by Hidden Oaks Cattle Company and o f f e r e d b y b i r d c att l e c o m pa n y a full sister was purchased by Circle M Farms. During her tenure at Circle M Farms, 130Z was crowned Grand Champion Purebred Simmental at the State Fair of Texas. In the Circle M Farms Dispersal Sale she commanded $55,000 and was purchased by Red River Farms. G9131 is from a long line of power cows that offer consistency and generating ability. She is sired by the late Red Answer, a full brother to W/C Bullseye 3046A, a son of the legendary 8543U donor that has generated over $5 Million in progeny sales. A red hided female that we believe will be competitive in the show ring and a true asset in production!

This Trio of Revival x 032Y daughters have us extremely excited! Each of these females are a little different, but all possess the ability to take your program to the next level. Their mother topped this very event 8 years ago. She went on to have an extremely successful show career. Capped off by winning the $10,000 scholarship in San Antonio for Laramie Huie. Since then we have had several progeny go through this ring! This cow family is anchored by the great WHCC Angels Dream R20 cow, that won multiple championships before making her mark in the donor pen. The topside of their pedigree boasts WS Revival, the Denver standout a few years ago.

As we study the females individually, 902G is extremely impressive from a balance and symmetry stand point. One that has a huge mid side and extended through her front end. When studied from behind she shows more than ample muscle and skeletal width. When put into motion this female simply oats across the pen. One that we feel can compete on any stage! We next look at 903G heifer. One that is huge hipped and bold sprung through the middle of her rib cage, extremely trim and elegant through her head and shoulder. One that we think will do nothing but get better with age. 904G is the third of the sisters that sell today, but don’t let that fool you. She is extremely complete and great in terms of her structural design. Once again the cattle that come from this legendary Cow family do nothing but get better with age. We feel this female could be a great bred next year.

This sister duo would have had a sister campaigned by Tanner Howey that would have been a past lot 1 at Circle M by Duracell. Dura Sara would have achieved backdrop status winning the Denver Jr. Show and the Houston Open Show, along with division accolades at the American Royal, North American, and the National Western. o f f e r e d b y s h i p w r e c k c att l e So, with that said, it’s no wonder that the mating to the all-time Ft Worth High Seller and lead bull in the 2018 Champion Pen of 3 at the NWSS, KCC1 Exclusive would click back on this proven donor dam. 924G offers all the equipment to get it accomplished at a high level. Her extension will allow her to be competitive as she matures into that junior yearling and senior yearling phases of maturity. She is one that is extended and feminine through that front one third, her width of chest is sensible and proportionate thus allowing her forearm and shoulder to lay right in her skeleton to allow for the reach she has off of her front two. Her fore, center, and rear rib is near ideal as it carries a bit more width of top and upper rib shape that transitions back to a high, wide pin set that’s fairly square and true from the side that ties on into a solid hind leg set and carriage. We love this one and her future predictors. 925G, the slightly younger sister being offered in this duo is one too of substantial, breeder worthy, and junior show backdrop potential. She comes slightly bolder centered and a smidge closer to the ground than big sis, but still has the maturity indicators to be plenty big enough at her end game. This female’s pure boldness of skeleton, natural base width, rib shape, and durability screams unique. This flush is one of the most consistent group of siblings I have witnessed in the business. The bull mates to this pair of heifers are of herd sire/ A.I. caliber quality and her dam’s natural calf, sired by a full brother to Exclusive, is one of the nicer March females that I have laid eyes on this year. This offering is legit and this donor dam has worked in other successful programs. A lot of documented merit exists!

The Nixon family of Floydada, Texas have been long time supporters of the Black Label Event. In fact, Miss KCC1 EXCLUSIVE sire of lots 10-12, & flush mate brother to the dam of L ot 13 Z 047Z was Kirby’s very first purchase in Grandview from Joe and Josie Seale! 047Z was a competitive heifer during her time in the show ring, but her ultimate value came in production. Giselle 022G is sired by the $120,000 KCC1 Exclusive, and this mating to 047Z flat worked. She is flawless in her joint work, stout boned, big footed, and moves with ease. Her rib design and shape is second to none, as she offers exceptional stoutness and mass with a feminine and poised look through her front third. KCC1 Havana 83E is the lone female from arguably the most dominant flush ever made at Kearns Cattle Company. In fact, her now deceased dam, the great Victoria generated over $250,000 that spring from that single flush to MR TR Hammer 308A. Havana is a full sister to KCC1 Exclusive, the $120,000 half-interest stud that topped the Cowtown Classic, and KCC1 Enterprise, the $35,500 bull that topped their annual bull sale in March of 2018. Havana was successfully shown by Brecken Shipman and was a crowd favorite at each outing due to her unmatched stoutness, athletic ability, and poised presence that set her apart. Havana offers extremely unique breeding pieces and it is evident by her first calf crop this spring. Sired by the outcross AI sire, CDI Innovator this heifer calf out of Havana is a unique and valuable breeding piece. Her stoutness of foot and bone, correctness of skeletal design, and robust rib design is what sets her apart from the crowd!

Ryan Fussell along with his wife Sara have formed F4 Land and Cattle Company. They have been big supporters of the Black Label over the past couple of years and we appreciate them very much for making a faithful investment in the stock over that time frame. This all started when Ryan purchased a group of bred heifers from us privately a couple years ago. This female is a natural calf from a Hammer x W992 daughter that was in that set of females. There’s reason upon reason why the quality is so high in this individual. Conley’s successful Simmental ventures all run back to a full sister to her maternal granddam and the most proven and influential Angus cow family produced in the Bill and Donna Conley program. The Broker x Hammer combination is bulletproof. 02G may be one of the best, true March born purebreds in the business in terms of her impeccable build, structure, shape, and overall balance and eye appeal. We believe the bar has been set here again are happy to offer this one for your appraisal. She’ll be on many shortlists come sale day.

Here is a pair of flush mate sisters that are sired by the popular Broker son known as Battle Cry. The dam of these flush sisters was bred by Fenton Farms of Oklahoma and was purchased by the Nixon family via Hilmes Show Cattle. Grace and Georgia are Purebred females that are backed by a granddaughter of the legendary SOSF Ebony’s Joy L-123 matron that is sired by a Built Right son. Grace 007G is the white flanked March sister that is stout, massive centered, wide based, big legged, and offers that brood cow look with the shot of style and class needed to be noticed. The April sister, 016G is the smoother, elegant fronted, clean chested, big bellied female that is understandably a bit greener in her condition, but one that we love the futuristic look that she offers. Regardless of which one of these females you prefer to lead, rest assured that the quality of build and cow family will never tarnish!

The Wicked cow family has worked well for the Nelson family of Minnesota over the years. The foundation New Edition daughter of the Wicked line is a past North American Percentage Champion female. When the Nelson’s offered B125 in the Ruby Cattle Company, Livin’ the Dream sale, Nate Ruby and I decided that we were going to partner on her, and it has worked since day one. B125 produced multiple daughters of Battle Cry that commanded price tags from $7,750 to $15,000 and one of those went on to be Reserve Champion at the 2019 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Reserve Champion at the 2019 San Antonio Livestock Exposition for the Culpepper family. B125 produced a daughter of HCCO Classic that would have been the sale topping female at the 2019 Cowtown Classic that has been calf champion at Denver, Reserve Calf Champion at the Fort Worth Stock Show, and this summer was a class winner and 3rd Overall Purebred at the AJSA South Central Regional in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Three times out and three times successful as a May born female. Here’s another May, ET female by the proven Bird Cattle Co. sire, DMCC Counter Attack which also makes her the paternal sister to the spring high seller of the Black Label. Proven pedigree stacked top and bottom with a premium look and build. She gets your kiddos competing in a different division at every level and allows you the flexibility of age if you’re a Texan to get 2 youthful years of competition.

The donor dam needs no introduction and no written track record to document her validity to the breed and the business. Angel is the single most successfully proven daughter of the great 8543 and from the highest capital generating mating ever done on that cow. 99G is one of most intriguing purebred females that I have analyzed in some time. To be upfront, her cooperator herd was very undesirable to say the least, but we got her out of there just in time to bring her to the marketing venue on October 12. She’s green and gaining ground and a year from now the playing field should be level where she’s concerned. Her sire is a past high seller at Cow Camp Ranch and is backed by the popular and proven Apple donor dam. He enhances her genetic value on paper significantly, she ranks in the top 5% of the breed for Marbling, 10% for API, TI, and REA, while balancing a top 20% rank on CE and a 25% on YW, quite ideal and impressive. You then, begin to break her down and study the physical parts and pieces, well other than time and maturity there’s not much one can change in this one at this stage. The front third is extreme and out there, but the correct pieces fall in place from there back. She’s the green, skinny one that most would call the sleeper, but the pedigree, the numbers, and the unique factor should attract even the most discriminating breeders and bidders. The Utah and Relentless mating have been done over and over again on this donor dam with consistent results. 98G will be one to view and analyze come sale day. Pedigree is no secret and again a green one with a ton of promise. When one gets back off and studies her shape, kind, and skeletal orientation, the pieces fit, and they will come together in time. When I initially mated this female’s maternal granddam to Executive Order, I didn’t expect a redhead like her dam, so since we liked it, we did it again and got the same result one more time this spring (another red sister to the dam of 329G). With the resurging popularity of the red gene, we researched our options and decided on the linebred option of Bankroll back on this one’s dam and the result is satisfying and up for your judgement and appraisal. Blaze faced, big bold bodied, powerfully ended, ground pounder would be the proper descriptive terminology used.

Turnpike 771E took the breed by storm when he sold in February of 2018 for $71,000 for half-interest. This female offers the added length and extension, structural correctness, and the optimum body depth to be a contender. This is a no miss mating. From the day this one hit the ground, we knew she had the potential for greatness, the 37LZ cow family has stamped her maternal look, soft joints and femininity into every one of her calves, especially the Uprising daughters. Looking at her from the side, you wonder how Gucci can be made any better‚until you move in behind her. She has a powerful, square hip, explosive rib shape and amazing strength behind her shoulders. If you’re still not a believer, ask the Tanner family. Kayden stuck a full sister to this one all the way into the Reserve Division position at the North American in Louisville, KY in the fall of 2017. I don’t know if it is possible to cram any more predictability and quality into a single pedigree. When we bred this calf, what came out is exactly what we were hoping for. Starting at the ground, she hits the surface with flex and comfort that translates all the way through her lower joints up onto a spine that has give and agility making her a fault free structured animal with longevity built in at a foundation level. As you go ahead and look for indicators that make a great one, you find a rib shape that has the same sweep, depth and spring in the elite females the lead the breed.

A full sister sold in the 2018 Black Label Event and was selected by the progressive Swain Select Simmental program of Kentucky. 914F is the lone baldy female out of 825Z in this year’s offering, and we believe that her added stoutness of foot, bone, and shape will aid in her ability as a producer when her career on the road comes to a close. The influence of MR HOC Broker has left a lasting impression on the business. In fact, Broker has been a household name for years because of the dominance his progeny have had in the show ring, sale ring, and in production. This duo are direct daughters of arguably the best full sister to Broker in existence, SWC M2C Zereasa 825Z. They are sired by CCLT Alliance, a past sale highlight at Hartman Cattle Company that commanded $70,000. Alliance is now a member of the elite herd sire battery at Wheatland Cattle Company of Saskatchewan, Canada. These females represent the type and kind of cattle that Bar O Cattle Company has become known to produce. From the ground up they are genuine in their foot design, correct in their angles, and flexible on the move. 915F is the older of the pair and one that we have admired from day one due to her added confidence and poised look of quality. 916F is the natural calf of 825Z and resembles her big sisters outline with an added shot of body depth and mass. These two sisters will be competitive on a leather lead, but at the end of the day the quality and cow family will remain, and they’ll always be out of the legendary Broker’s full sister!

Here is proof again the SJCC Darwin D017 is going to be a game changer. Hs quality attributes and style have translated through a functionally oriented kind of cow that just need a shot of look. It is not very often you get the best of both parents but it worked out as well as we could have hope in SJCC Glitter and Gold. This fault free type of female sets the foundation for quality and then add that little bit extra we all look for to stand and produce at the highest levels.

FBFS GIRLY GIRL 902G . o f f e r e d b y f o s t e r b r o s fa r m s
Years ago, we offered a female that was acquired by Owen Brothers. FBFS Wakanda, a daughter by Ever Ready from the S600 brood matron, went on to produce multiple high sellers and sale highlights during her tenure, but one most notable would be the multi herd herdsire, Blacklist. Blacklist is by the undefeated Pays to Believe and offers length, balance, and look to his progeny. So, there’s little left to question about the future of this young female when we include the fact that she is out of a National Champion and linebred S600 cow family. The pedigree blended with her pen presence earns her the right to have the leather, but her value after the tan bark would be significant moving forward in any program. The FBF cattle are Super Bowl eligible, and they would like to retain 12 embryos at the buyer’s convenience and FBF’s expense within the first 3 years of production. This female is entered in the NAILE.

The 20-20 cattle have been one of the most consistent sire groups over the past couple of years. Proven but not promoted as heifer acceptable, efficient in their kind with great look, build, and shape. This baldy from an Anchor x LNL x Shear Force x Hollywood Queen wouldn’t stray from the genetic norm. Upheaded, sensible in her size, good in her kind, and very nice numbered with show ring appeal.

The success of the Relentless progeny is undeniable. He has worked in countless programs throughout the country, and his utilization at Walter Cattle Company has proven positive as well. Just this summer, a Relentless daughter carrying the WLTR prefix was Reserve Grand Champion Purebred at the TJSSA Summer Classic for the Sulak family. This after being undefeated in class at all the majors in the Spring of 2019 and Res Division Champ at Houston! We feel that this female is cut from the same mold. Extremely elegant in her build with structural integrity and mobility, this female has the look to be highly successful. We look forward to watching this one’s future!!!!

The High Regard progeny have gained respect and success on the tanbark, and in production. This daughter of our Flo Donor looks to extend that track record. We appreciate many things about this female. This Purebred has huge paws, an intriguing amount of substance and bone, and puts it all together in an extremely attractive package phenotypically. The maternal side of her pedigree offers two different Donor females here at Walter Cattle Co in the Flo Donor, and her Granddam, Cayenne, who has had a major impact on our program and others around the country. Her outcross pedigree really frees one up when making mating decisions as well. We anticipate a very bright future for this female.

A maternal sib to WLTR Two Steps Ahead 27C, the highly competitive sire owned by Sublette Cattle Co, who gathered his share of banners including Grand Champion Purebred Bull at the 2017 Ft Worth Stock Show. This female screams COW POWER!!! Her extra punch and power is accompanied by an abundance of center rib and overall performance. With all that, this female still maintains a very maternal look with plenty of symmetry and presence for the tanbark. This is the type and kind of female that will keep you in the business. This one has the potential to lay down and have the next high caliber herd sire‚after all, it runs in the family!!

What an opportunity here with a new Daydream mating. Here is a pair of exciting show and donor prospects sired by the champion LN LMC Dream Up bull. He is sired by the 2007 International Champion Hagans Ante Up and is out of the LMC Mariah’s Dream “Delilah” donor making Dream Up a maternal brother to the 2012 National Percentage Bull LN LMC 12th Man who sired the famous Daydream daughter LMC SSC Yolanda who was a former Black Label High Seller and the 2018 ASA National Champion for the Culpepper Family. Their dam Daydream is a full sister to the 2013 National Champion LMC Gold Medal bull, they are the product of two International Champions in LMC Rhino and LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl. This past Spring, Haley Bryand led a Daydream daughter to Grand Champion honors at the Superbowl, as well as Senior Champion at the Houston Junior Show and Reserve Senior at the Fort Worth Junior Show. Lorelai Hill led another Daydream daughter to Grand Champion at the Rio Grande Valley Open Show and Reserve Supreme Champion at her county show. Haley and Erin Lusk also got a piece of the Calf Division at the TJSSA Futurity in June with two other Daydream daughters. We’re proud that Lorelai and Haley did that winning with cow/calf pairs sired by 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun. Erin and Haley’s calves are sired by LMC BBS Primo. Daydream is one of the most prolific donors we’ve had the opportunity to work with as she has worked with numerous sires. Perla is the stouter structured heifer of the duo that still retains plenty of style and breed character. With her capacity, power and soundness she has donor cow written all over her. Piper is a correct, feminine and striking female on the profile. Joe Seale has called their paternal grand dam one of the soundest cows he has ever seen, and these two exciting baby dolls are a chip off the old block in that same department. Both these heifers are eligible for the La Muneca Junior program, one of the most supportive in the country with a strong tradition of winning at every level. Bid with confidence, these two baby dolls are good buys at any price.

Don’t know if it gets any better than this from this cow family, we’re selling 3 conventional embryos sired by the 2012 National Champion Percentage Bull 12th Man. The 12th Man bull is a 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun son out of the LMC Mariah’s Dream “Delilah” donor. This mating produced the $25,000 many times champion LMC SSC Yolanda female for Madison Culpepper, the 2019 Fort Worth Open Show Grand Champion Female LMC SSC Catalina for Caleb Fuchs and La Muneca’s newest herd sire the LMC SSC Antonio bull who was a high performer in the RGVBIA Performance Gain Test. A solid mating and opportunity! Guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if the work is done by an agreed upon certified embryologist. These are the last 12th Man sired embryos from this partnership and in the case that more embryos are needed to meet the guarantee, seller reserves the right to meet the guarantee with a mating featuring a different sire. Annie K 165C has been featured in the Black Label annually. She is loaded with power, dimension, and shear substance that’s unchallenged. We loved and appreciated the ultra-smooth pattern, build, and skeletal integrity of Copacetic and hoped it would be the mating we were striving to achieve with this donor. This heifer calf represents the outcome we were hoping for. She’s young and has all of her life in front of her with the leg, hip, body, skeletal width, and classy front third to go the distance. Her recip dam is a registered Angus female that has raised 6 ET Calves in a row, but before being utilized as such, she raised a $12,500 heifer and a $7,500 bull both by Broker. 587T is a direct daughter of the great female maker, BC Matrix, and from a powerful PAPA Durabull sired dam that would trace back to a maternal sister to the legendary Image Maker. She’s the type of Angus female that one would find at Coleman’s or Bill and Donna Conley’s. This is a special and rare opportunity to get in on a very unique,

JCBB Lady Gaga G9453 and JCBB Lady Grace G990 are two 3/4-blood females that we think a lot of. They are sired by the $120,000 KCC1 Exclusive and backed by the Western Elite $38,000 1/2 interest sale topping female, Duello Brokers Lucy 4114. 4114 has emerged as one of the elite percentage donors in the Bird Cattle Company program, and is backed by a powerful Angus female that was successfully campaigned by the Ward Brothers of Missouri. 4114 is simply flawless in her basic built and organization of skeleton. This mating to Exclusive yielded one of the best heifer calves to ever come to the weaning pen at Bird Cattle Company, in JCBB Lady Gaga G9453. There is no denying the stoutness of bone work, elegant look, massive rib design, and captivating symmetry that she offers. G990 certainly doesn’t disappoint either from a fundamental perspective, she too is a stout constructed, square made, ultra attractive high percentage SimAngus female. The matrons that line the pedigrees of these two flush sisters is second to none and we think you’ll appreciate the quality and consistency of the 4114 daughters on sale day!

JCBB Gal With Class G9550 is the result of a past Black Label Event purchase that Brandon made a few years back that topped the Angus division at $30,000, PF Classy Gal of 414. Her pedigree needs no introduction, being a First Class sired daughter of the immortal J&J Queen 414. G9550 is sired by W/C Loaded Up 1119Y, making her a full sister in blood the 2017 Black Label Event high selling percentage female at $47,000 that was selected by the Culpepper family and went on to be Reserve Grand Champion ORB at the 2019 San Antonio Livestock Exposition for Madison. We believe that G9550 offers the same potential and elite look that Loaded With Class a.k.a, LC‚ did at this very age. If you’re searching for a half-blood female to make a hard run with at the Texas Majors in the ORB division or a female that will be competitive in the early summer division at the Jr. Nationals, rest assured this May baby has the goods!

The little-known bull, GCC Stockbroker B005, seemed like a logical choice with his genetic package reaching across two breeds and having dynamic parentage as far back as you want to go. With the untried combination we get the decision that is set before you now. The shape and power brought out by this mating is accented with style and grace as you can see in the two sisters, Giddyup and Glamour. The importance of cow families in this business cannot be overstated. With that thought in mind, we encourage you to study this gem!! Her maternal Granddam was a foundation Angus female in our program by Northern Improvement. She gathered her share of hardware in the showring, but more importantly, established herself as a leading Angus matron here at Walter Cattle Company. This Steel Force female has all the parts and pieces to follow in the same path as her Dam and Granddam, and blaze a new trail both on the tanbark, and in production. This female has been a standout since birth, and looks to have an extremely bright future. Her structural integrity is complimented by her intriguing silhouette. This is the kind to tie to and hold on for the ride!!!!!!

Her dam was our selection from the 2018 bred heifer offering at Cow Camp Ranch in Kansas. This young female is extended and refined to a high degree with elegant design and balances effortlessly from the profile. This Currency sired half blood really gets us excited. She stems from the great FCC Blackcap 1943 cow that graced the pastures of Lockney for many years before becoming a BLE sale feature. The 1943 female was truly a magnificent animal with more power and substance than most Angus females. This females mother is the result of breeding that great Angus cow to a Maine bull, called Hot Commodity. Which means this girl can be dual registered! As you study this female on the hoof, she is one that flows from nose to tail with elegance and balance. Extremely angular about her head and neck. With a great spring of rib and stands on and absolute perfect structure. This will be one you won’t want to miss!

The Smoky Y Ranch program of Western Kansas has evolved into one of the premier Red Angus programs in America due to the quality and consistency of the cowherd. This summer when touring the pastures a heifer calf emerged and we felt was one of the most elite Red Angus females we had ever laid our eyes on. Sired by the $75,000 U-2 Renown and backed by the powerful Canadian bred female that originated in the Windy Hills program, she offers the credentials when her show career is over to be a dominant producer. Her joint work, stoutness, and presence are like we have never seen. From the ground up this February female is flawless in her movement and offers a tremendous set to her hip and hind leg. Her neck ties high out of the topside of her smoothly laid in shoulder and transitions into a bold and robust rib design. If you’re in the market to tie into a Red Angus female that has the capabilities to hang a banner on the largest stage, rest assured she will be in Grandview, Texas on October 12, 2019!

The dam of this stunning dark red female is a member of the Barbie cow family and did an exceptional job her first time up to bat in production. Her sire, John Wick 882E was the high selling bull in the Six Mile Ranch 2018 Bull Sale, selling to Niobrara Red Angus of Nebraska for $57,000 and is a son of the great Red Six Mile & Co. Here’s a maternal sister to Broker sired by United. Over the years we have preached about the potency and longevity of the H25 lineage. Everyone is always more and more chasing the next generation or at least it’s a thought of such and yet they continue to turn to sires like Broker or use a female that traces back to H25 somehow. The most dominant MR HOC BROKER female exhibited in the Simmental breed in the 2018/ 2019 run by the Dameron Family was sired by Profit (out of a Broker triple crown winning maternal brother to lot 72 daughter) and from a Tailgater dam (Tailgater is a son of Cottontail which would be a maternal granddaughter of H25). One could easily state that is linebred H25 as it is fact. United is from one of the best and fundamentally superior cow families in the entire Werning program other than 8543. His cattle, especially bull progeny, have continued to be in demand every February in Emery, SD and nationwide throughout the breed during bull season. So why wouldn’t it be possible that 056A would be around for many more years to come? The one thing that can positively be said about 056A is that she has definitely been underutilized here at FBF and we are confident that we have not tapped into this female’s true potential due to several circumstances and management changes while she has resided in Lockney. A.I.ed to ETR Blitz 208E on 7/18/19 and PE 7/20/19 to 8/20/19 to OBCC Blacklist.

In one of the very first Spring Sales we offered a SimAngus female by Upgrade that raised the bar for power, presence, and EPDs wrapped in one complete brood cow package. That female was selected by long time customers and friends of the Black Label, the Fenton Family of Mississippi. Still, today, they employ Lucy Up in the donor battery and rightfully so. Yes EPDs o f f e r e d b y s h i p w r e c k c att l e change with the wind but the kind of cattle she is and produces is what matters in upholding the bottom line. We purchased this mating as frozen inventory, placed them all, and received four females. Three of the four were offered as Spring Bred females a year ago and were purchased by David Berry. Those three produced 3 awesome heifer calves all sired by HOC Dakota that will be retained in the Hidden Oak program or brought back to the Black Label next fall as bred cattle. The udder, hoof, and structural integrity of all four sisters is very fault free, but the enhanced look and appeal is complimentary of their sire, 1143Y. 1143Y is owned and ran by the Sandeen family where his daughters have experienced and contributed much success to the name and Building a Brand production sales. He is the loosest built, highest performing full brother to the famous Loaded Up. This blaze faced female is feminine, refined, deep, sound, and near perfect uddered. She is nursing a 9/1/19 blaze faced heifer calf by a Bullseye x Joy son and according to her planned mating will offer over a 140 API and will be a non-parent trait leader for CE and BW. A young, exciting, awesome baldy pair that we are ecstatic to offer up for your appraisal and ownership.

HOC BIANCA B32 maternal sister to dam of lot 74 owned by fenton farms of mississippi This Red Answer daughter is from a New Direction x 8014 daughter. 8014 would be the dam of HOC Bianca, a past Black Label High Seller, Brazos, and the second high selling bull of the 2019 Kearns Cattle Co Bull Sale KCC1 Folsom, just to name a few. With the influence of 8014 on bottom and the added value of the 8543U in the top side, I don’t think quality and predictability need to be doubted. Here’s a direct daughter of one of my all time favorites at Hidden Oaks. This daughter of Red Answer is from an awesome, loose built baldy daughter of Broker that wrote the book on ideal feet, skeletal build, and elegance in motion. There’s not much left to question why she has so much power and shape with the pedigree that supports this bred female. A.I.ed to HOC Dakota 111D on 12/10/18 and PE to HOC Dakota 111D from 12/15/18 to 2/1/19.

The dam of 743E may be one of my all time favorite Simmental donors. Lucky Dice, Power Drive, and the great Queen Mother cow family makes her as old pedigreed as H25 but with more notability. She was so stout and massive in her kind and always produced the right kind for the times. This daughter of Wheel Man will not disappoint as she blends the power of her dam with the length, extension, and look of her sire. PE 7/1/19 - 8/15/19 to JSSC ANCHOR 774E. Checked safe.

One either appreciates the influence of Hammer or they don’t, there is zero gray space. We, for one, would be on the appreciation side especially when a big centered, soft built cow is engaged in the gene pool such as 733E. The key to the Hammer stock is to just let them do their thing on their own for the first year of their growth and development. Too many try to push too hard to get them to the goal to quick and that’s the worst thing you can do. Care for them without overdoing it and once they are past 12 to 14 months, one can put the throttle down if you’re showing one. The T20 cow is from a Denver Champion and a sister to the great Wide Body. This one has the parts and the genetics to contribute. PE 7/1/19 - 8/15/19 to JSSC ANCHOR 774E. Checked safe.

A NY BR E E D, AN Y P E RC E N TAG E , A NY D ONOR I N O U R I N VE N TO RY I S GAM E . The opportunity to conventionally flush or IVF cycle is offered on any cow solely owned by Shipwreck Cattle Co. This donor battery is youthful and loaded with power and potential. You can choose from the proven “B models to the next generation bred heifers that fall within the window of opportunity. Due to mother nature and the science of the procedure the following terms and conditions apply. In the event the buyer wishes to do a conventional flush; all board, semen, and costs associated with the flush are the responsibility of the buyer. If the buyer wishes to do a conventional IVF cycle, any and all costs associated with the procedure are the responsibility of the buyer. In both instances we will guarantee and minimum of 6 Transferrable embryos and three pregnancies with all work to be performed by Stroud Veterinary Embryo Services of Weatherford, TX. However, if the buyer wishes to do an IVF cycle and reverse sort semen, we will guarantee a minimum of 4 transferrable embryos and 1 pregnancy. All costs associated with this procedure are the responsibility of the buyer including transportation to and from the facility. All the work must be performed by Stroud Veterinary Embryo Services or TransOva Genetics. Due to the success rate with SVES, we encourage the buyer to utilize SVES on this procedure as well, but also realize that TOG may be slightly more affordable and universal.

WAGR Chanel 5073C would be our poster cow here at Shipwreck. She has two daughters that we have retained in our Spring 2018 born bred females. The best heifer calf at FBF, without question, is a result of an embryo purchase made by Wide Body. A Ledger son will join the bull battery at Bar-QH, IL and many more to come in the future. We are impressed by the 2016 AJSA National Classic Class Winner that went on to be the 2017 Champion PB Female at the Ft. Worth Stock Show where she also claimed 2016 Calf Champion honors. She is a full sister to Panorama, the dam of Profit, and many others working in the CK Wager, Windy Ridge, Polzin, F4, and Lastovica programs. Her natural calf from last fall commanded a $20,000 hammer price this Spring and was selected by Fussell family/ F4 of Grandview. She has been stingy to date with her embryo production, but we intend to change venues of aspiration and will perform one IVF cycle prior to October 12 so that we can better inform you of her potential. We love this cow and many visitors over the years have been drawn to her as well.

The select offering is very broad and wide open to unlimited potential. Two direct daughters of the famed, foundation donor, Annie K 330Y, are in consideration here. 165C, the Earthquake sired female, has been applauded by many for her overall contribution of power and performance. Five direct daughters of this female have been retained in the 15 spring bred heifers we have sorted and culled through to wind up with the set we are keeping. Her cattle consistently offer the boldness of body and shape with that desired head and neck carriage with tremendous hoof and skeletal integrity. Bulls like Copacetic and Clarified that are balanced and practical in their design and power are ideal for use on this female as she contributes more than enough power to her offspring. 214C would be the daughter of Wide Body that made her big debut this spring as the dam of the $30,000 strip faced red head by Counter Attack that went to Kate Munson of Shallowater, TX. She too had a natural calf that sold for $13,500, and her first natural calf sold for $6,750 in last fall’s Black Label. She has two full sibs to this Spring’s high selling feature in this offering as well, while looking forward to weaning calves after the sale with plans to feature a red stud by Shamwow in the Spring Edition as an exciting young her sire prospect. This girl is rapidly making a name for herself and has dropped her third natural calf this week. Exciting time in the life and production of the great 2014 National % Champion, 330Y cow family here at Shipwreck.

2015 ft worth stock show reserve grand champion % female maternal sister to SWC HSC CANEY 054C Two more SimAngus females are in the mix that we intend to super ovulate or aspirate this fall. Both have just calved here in mid-September and they look awesome. Both by the proven sire of quality and longevity, Broker. 4715B would have been our selection from the 2015 spring calves at Kearns Cattle. She’s the bigger framed, more extended version of the two with substantial feet, bone work, rib shape, levelness of design with an awesome hip and hind leg. Moreover, she is from the famed Katinka 3208N cow family at Thomas Ranch, SD that produced the even more famous, Pandora. She should blend well with most moderate AI sires of choice from the 20-20’s to the Loaded Up derivatives, we are excited about the potential here. The other half-blood female in the group of preference would be from our 902X Total Recall donor. 054C is prototypical in kind as indicated by both sides of her pedigree. This genetic combination has been proven successful many times at Griswold Cattle Co. This female’s udder has been text book every year in production and she has done a tremendous job in doing so. The heifer calf she is nursing by Exclusive looks to be her very best to date. 054C is more than adequate in size and length with awesome mothering instinct. Her head and neck are both ultra chiseled and refined, so much they scream femininity. She too is bold in her rib and stouter from behind than most of her genetic blend. The revolving door of opportunity continues to turn for the potential stacked here.

HWGW ELLA E53-B26 E53 is the 2019 South Central Regional Champion Purebred female. She is sired by a stud bred in the Schaake program and owned by Walrod and Huncovsky of Kansas. Her dam is a direct daughter of Broker. This thing has had the big hair from the time we bought her and still today has plenty of shag. While the hair isn’t a desirable trait in the southern commercial sector, it plays a big role in the niche market place of show heifer sales. Like most of our stock that we show, we probably manage them too green for today’s competition, but she still had enough to her without all that extra bark. She is ideal in balance, type, kind, soundness, muscle, body, and look. No extremes, just balance from head to tail, and enhanced with proven genetics consistently on both sides of her lineage.

856F is a Spring Bred female from our 2018 calf crop that was raised in a co-op herd and showed up post sale time a year ago. She is a maternal sister to the Houston Jr. Show Calf Champion that went on to be reserve at Austin. Her dam, now owned by Diamond A, IL, 056C was 9th overall at the 2016 AJSA Summer Classic and a class winner. The maternal side of this future building female is second to none with the Looker Cow family present. We love this direct daughter of Innovator and we are jacked about the future this thing holds. Breeding flexibility exists here and we think the phenotype will be impeccable.

WR MS ROBIN 11B WR Robin 11B would be our Red Angus donor that we acquired in 2015 from Matt Fuss. The Weidenbach family would be responsible for this direct daughter of Cita 4060. We have enjoyed owning this one in production and are excited about what the future holds here. With the resurging popularity of the red hided cattle in any facet, we feel that this one’s blood red features and kind have a lot to offer any breed. She is the dam of the Reserve heifer at Ft. Worth and the two time champion FFA female at the Minnesota State Fair. We have offered a daughter by Red Sky in this sale that we sure like a lot as well. I know her full potential has not been tapped to date and that’s why we continue to be impressed with each mating made.
