TWELFTH SEASON GUIDE
5 - 26 JUNE 2021 festivalsouth.org
IN PERSON AND ONLINE
IN PERSON AND ONLINE We are thrilled to emerge from creative hibernation to bring as much of the excitement and opportunities back to the Pine Belt for 2021. Building on the incredible strengths of our community, FestivalSouth has become synonymous with excellence in the arts, offering programming and representing the wealth of talent we enjoy as a community. We have missed you! Now, with both in-person and live streamed events, there are more ways than ever before to enjoy FestivalSouth! None of this year’s return would be possible without the countless hours of our coordinators and “friends of the festival.” Long before the festival recruited them, they have been tireless champions of the arts in our community and continue to work to engage, educate, and enrich our neighbors who hail from around the corner and around the globe. This year, we return focused on your safety and that of our performers. Because of the generous support of our community, we are finally able to continue our second decade. From sponsors and donors to individuals who now return in person or virtually, they bring with them excitement and engagement that goes beyond hearing a concert or seeing a show, but also a genuine commitment to better our community through the arts. It is our genuine desire that you reemerge by taking a stand pledging your visible and vocal support not only to FestivalSouth, but also to the idea that the arts can change and heal a community. We can take all of the good that has been done and spin it into even greater opportunities for generations to come. So, join us - in word and in deed - online or safely, in person. Mark your calendars and invite your friends to FestivalSouth this June. Make an investment in enriching your life, your family and friends’ experience, and your community’s well being by investing your time with us. Celebrate FestivalSouth 12. Create memories that will last a lifetime!
