Sreenivassan Ramaprasad
Sreenivassan Ramaprasad, the founder and enabler of Saamartya, is a Masters (M.Sc - Tech) graduate from BITS Pilani and a certified NLP practitioner. Ramaprasad started his career with Associated Instruments Manufacturers India P Ltd New Delhi, and consequently joined JK Tyres and CADD Centre in 1989.
At CADD Centre, he grew to become the Executive Director of the company in a span of 15 years. During his tenure in CADD Centre he was instrumental in establishing CADD Centre in Delhi and making CADD Centre a national brand. He developed the equipment business of CADD Centre in 1995. With virtually no employee and nil turnover he built the equipment business to Rs 50 crores in a span of 6 years and strengthened the company to 225 executives. Currently he is the Director in CADD Centre Training Services, Asia Pacific’s largest CAD training network with presence in 30 countries.
Ramaprasad served as COO in a new venture called iKix 3D prints which specialized in 3D services. As a Chief Operating Officer, he was able to successfully get across the concept of 3D printing services to Architectural Industry. He started another venture called Saamartya in 2016 that enables people to develop their people skills and business skills. He is actively engaged in streamlining sales processes of small and medium companies.
He is an active Rotarian, having led Rotary club of Madras West as its 50th President, made the club more vibrant with his interpersonal skills. He also initiated a Dialysis Center for the Club’s Thiruverkadu Medical Centre. He is known for his anchoring skills and he is a regular invited speaker in Rotary circles. Ramaprasad is the current President of Professional Speakers association of India Chennai Chapter.
Ramaprasad was the Vice Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce Tamil Nadu Chapter which is a chamber that promotes bilateral trade between India and USA. Ramaprasad got married to Geetha in 1993 and has a daughter by name Ananya who completed her Viscom( Visual Communications) and a professional actor.
Rajaram Muthukrishnan
Rajaram Muthukrishnan is a Director of Savya Sasy Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd, a Chennai based IT Solutions company that specializes in developing innovative Ed Tech, Fin Tech and Analytics solutions. He is a Chartered Insurer from Chartered Insurance Institute UK and also holds an MBA degree.
Rajaram started his career in 1989 in Hong Kong with the then Commission for India (Indian Consulate) in Hong Kong and later held the position of Assistant Secretary General of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong.
In this capacity, he has travelled extensively in China and been part of several international and national trade and business delegations. He has been the Chamber representative in some of the consultative committees of the Hong Kong government. He was part of the first E-Commerce initiative of the Chambers of Commerce and HK Government during the early days of World Wide Web era.
He later moved to the field of Insurance and was the Head of E-Business and Marketing for Personal and Commercial lines in Allianz Insurance, one of the largest financial conglomerates in the world from Germany. He was also on the Expert Group for E-Business and Alternative Distribution for Allainz Asia Pacific Region and has worked on several regional E-Business and launch initiatives in Asia Pacific.
He returned to India, in 2002 and entered the IT industry as the Head of Insurance Business and Consulting for Polaris Software Lab where he set up their insurance vertical including a joint venture with AIG.
He later became the Head of Insurance Practice for India/South Asia region in IBM’s Global Business Consulting business and then became one of eight persons designated as Global Subject Matter Expert for Insurance and a member of the Insurance Academy of IBM that worked on the forecasting of technology enabled changes that will impact the industry at a Global scale.
He is also a passionate researcher and Defence enthusiast and has written on matters related to International Strategic Affairs and spoken on National Security issues to create better awareness about these subjects. He is also the co-founder of Swatantra Forum, an independent Think Tank that is dedicated towards building leadership capacity and institutions, along with policy research and advocacy for India’s resurgence.
Rtn. PDG.A. Subramaniam
Subu, as he is popularly known, is a Chemical Engineer with over fifty years experience in the design engineering and manufacture of Process plant and Equipment. Starting as a Graduate Engineer a L&T, his first fifteen years were in the Corporate Sector, where with L&T, Macneil & Magor an Coromandel Steels where he served as its General Manager. Subu started his own enterprise in 198 as a first generation technocrat and built it into a multi-disciplinary engineering and manufacturin company with a peak turnover of over One hundred Crores and a product footprint across the globe He is officially retired but busier than ever, mentoring the next generation.
Subu has an enviable track record in Rotary. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Madras West sinc 1988 and was Club President in 1999-2000. After holding several District Offices he served as the District Governor for District 3230 in 2008-09. As Governor, he called for "Back to basics" as his mantra, to strengthen Rotary Clubs.
Subu has since then served Rotary as District Trainer; represented the District at Rotary International's Council on Legislation (COL); served RI as Officer on Special duty for Membership; and, was the Asst. Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator. He was an invited speaker at the District Conference of RI District 1880 (Germany) in 2008-09 and was the Assistant Zonal Ambassador for the focus area on Empowering Girls. He is a Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation.
Subu loves to read, enjoys music, swims, sketches and paints.
