Prof Anu Narasimhan is a Leading Brand Marketer, currently Professor of Practice with the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE) at IIT Bombay. She joined her alma-mater IIT Bombay
Speaker
after 24 years of corporate experience as a Strategy and Marketing professional. She has been responsible for creating and nurturing brands in diverse categories like consumer goods, lifestyle, and telecom. She worked with Titan Industries part of the Tata group, Hutchison Telecom, Unilever, and was VP - Marketing with Britannia, India's oldest and most preferred food company.
In
her
role
as
Professor
of
Practice,
Anu
teaches
the
foundation
course
‘Introduction
to
Entrepreneurship’ which has over 200 undergraduate and post-graduate students registered. It is a hands-on, activity-oriented course where students are taught fundamental concepts and traverse the journey from a germ of an idea to participating in a business plan pitch over the course of one semester. Anu is involved with mentoring and pre-incubation programs at DS School of Entrepreneurship – IDEAS Program and Women in Entrepreneurship. She is currently

pursuing a Doctoral programme from Singapore Management University and serves on the Board of Africa Improved Foods Rwanda and Frontier Nutrition Bangladesh.

1%
Indians.
She
counts
as
her
notable
contributions mentoring entrepreneurs, women leaders, and brand custodians.
She is an engineer from IIT Bombay and did her Post Graduation in Business from IIM Bangalore. She is happiest meeting people, solving problems, and volunteering for causes.
