Synopsis
We have in previous sessions addressed how brains and minds as they evolve through childhood and adolescence are “unique” and how indeed its never about whether we are intelligent, its about “how we are intelligent”. In this third and final segment Dr. Ennapadam S Krishnamoorthy, Behavioural Neurologist & Neuropsychiatrist will discuss how the brain and mind can “ prepare for leadership”.
In his presentation Dr. Krishnamoorthy will employ lessons from:

He will use these and other examples to illustrate how the brain and mind influence our journeys through education, work, and life, and how this determines our resilience as human and how we can employ these concepts to reach towards “leadership” in organisations, communities and society.

Dr. Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy (ESK) had done MBBS, MD, DCN (Lond), Ph.D. (Lond), FRCP (Lond, Edin & Glas), MAMS (India), FIMSA, FIPS. He is a Behavioural Neurologist and Neuropsychiatrist. The founder of Buddhi Clinic and Neurokrish Foundation, he is a pioneer in integrated and holistic care, focusing on both brain and mind rehabilitation. He has taken on multiple international leadership roles in the clinical science and treatment of epilepsy, dementia, autism, neurorehabilitation, behavioural management & new treatment modalities.
He is the immediate past president of the International Neuropsychiatric Association (INA) and the editor of the Global Approach series for Cambridge University Press & Neuropsychiatry Across Cultures for Oxford University Press. He has to his credit 70 plus scientific papers, 30 plus book chapters and over 25 articles in the lay press and has lectured widely across four continents. He convenes the TS Srinivasan Conclave & Oration annually, is Adjunct Professor at Manipal University and Public Health Foundation India. He is also Senior Clinical AdvisorNeurosciences, Apollo Hospitals Group
He is the recipient of the President's Medal of the Royal College of Psychiatrists for contributions to community neuropsychiatry. He was the first Indian psychiatrist to be elected fellow of all three United Kingdom Colleges of Physicians: Royal College of Physicians (London), Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Mr. Annadurai is currently the Executive Director & State Head of Indian Oil Corporation Limited. With over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, he has held key positions in Aviation, Operations, Lubricants, General Sales, and Retail Sales. His leadership roles include heading major units like the Coimbatore Divisional Office, responsible for retail sales across eight districts, and the Coimbatore Terminal. He is a specialist in retail sales, operations, oil logistics, project affairs, and aviation, and is widely acknowledged for his significant contributions.
He also served as the Country Head for Highway Loyalty and Digital Business for three years and was the Retail Sales Head for petrol, diesel, and other energy products for a state. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Gujarat State Office of IOCL.
Mr. Annadurai holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Madras.
