TVS Motor Company, one of the world's leading manufacturers of twowheelers and three-wheelers, has announced the appointment of Mr. K. Gopala Desikan as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for TVS Motor Company Limited and its group entities. The decision was made at the company ' s Board Meeting held today
Mr. Desikan previously served as the Executive Vice President (Finance) at Sundaram-Clayton Limited He takes over from Mr S G Murali, who retired in September 2017 after 15 years with the company.
With 28 years of experience within the TVS Group, Mr Desikan has played key roles across diverse functions including Direct Taxation, Treasury & Risk Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and Accounting, both at corporate and plant levels. He has also been actively involved in strategic initiatives such as the Group’s International Business and LongRange Planning efforts
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mr. Desikan also holds an MBA from the Open University Business School, UK
