With over 35 years of experience in various MNCs in India and abroad, A. Balakumar (Bala) worked with reputed organizations such as ABB, Motorola, TYCO International, Bharti Airtel, and NXP, among others. Starting in a Projects team and working across regions and organizations, he grew to head SCM as VP for Asia and Eastern Europe. He returned to India as Senior VP (SCM) for a leading mobile operator. He had also headed the healthcare business, handled business development for SE Asia, and served in the Boards of different organizations. He is passionate about coaching young start-ups, sharing experiences with students, counselling, and enabling businesses to accelerate achievement and meet their strategic goals. He is also actively involved with an NGO supporting girl child’s education in Bangalore. Bala is currently with a start-up as an investor, promoter, and facilitator. Mr. Ramasubramanian Ramasubramanian (Ramsu) Sundararajan heads Product R&D and AI for Solus.ai, an enterprise SaaS start-up that helps organizations hyper-personalize their interactions with their customers using AI. He has over 18 years of experience in applying machine learning models to problems in finance, healthcare, energy, aviation, travel, CPG, and retail. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and teaches analytics in practice at IIM Calcutta as a part-time visiting faculty member. He is a Fellow of IIM Calcutta and holds an undergraduate degree from BITS Pilani.
Mr. Chellappa Thyagarajan Chellappa Thyagarajan is a versatile Finance professional with deep knowledge and rich experience in financial management, Accounting, Procurement and Supply Chain Operations and Strategy. Chellappa is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He is an MBA from State University of New York, Buffalo specialised in Strategy and Operations. Starting with Telecom and electronics industries ITI Ltd early days, Motorola, and Hewlett Packard, over a period of 30 years Chellappa went through the ranks meticulously and held positions from Finance controller to Sourcing head in Motorola at India and Singapore locations. He was responsible for building and managing multi- locational, multi-cultural high-performance teams. Chellapa is an expert in the areas of Finance, control, & compliance, managing outsourced manufacturing, cost optimisation, designing and implementing robust systems and processes.
