Millie attended Rainbow City School until she migrated to the United States with her parents and her sister Donna on November 11, 1966 and resided in Brooklyn, New York. She then attended and graduated from Lefferts Junior High School & James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York. Millie was very goodawith numbers and so she took an accounting course after High School and worked at Republic National

Bank on William Street. She later met and married Ricardo Kelly and from that union bore 2 children, Ayanna & Ricardo (Rico). Millie and Rico Sr. formed Dr. K’s Exterminating & Video store. They later separated the two, creating Ms. K’s Video & Party Supply store where she was the sole owner. Both stores operated on Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn. Millie later worked for MTA in the Finance Room for 37 years until her retirement on December 23, 2020. Her smile alone could light up the sky. She made many friends and was truly loved by all at MTA.

Millie was an entrepreneur at heart and would constantly think of ways to make money & have fun while doing it. She started doing ski trips later starting a company with her sister Loraine called “Two Sisters Family Tours” branching out to Crab festivals in Maryland & Atlantic City Trips. Then Later forming “Just Us” which was just for her sisters and their immediate family & would host trips every Memorial weekend. The first trip was to Daniel’s Top of The Mount in the Poconos, then she discovered a spot in Wildwood on the Jersey Shore called Montego Bay. This turned out to be the family favorite. She planned family trips for Thanksgiving weekend to Lancaster, PA for Black Friday shopping & buffet dinner at “Shady Maple Brooks”. She was also everyone’s favorite Avon lady! Millie and her cousin Nilsa competed at the famous Apollo in Harlem & Millie won 2nd place singing “Alfie.” Her sister Donna would host fashion shows and decided to start a group which consisted of Donna, Lisa, their next-door neighbor Cindy and Millie who was the lead singer. They called themselves “Entou” and would sing at fashion shows, weddings & lodge hall events. Her brother-in-law, Michael Norris would later change their name to” Rivers of Honey”. She was known for her Pernil, Chicken salad, Tossed salad with Feta Cheese & cranberries & Patacones. Millie would fight with Lady D for Loraine’s Devil Eggs. She loved mashed potatoes & anything sweet. She was nicknamed “Salsa Queen”, loved to dance and was the life of the party. She was the hip aunt that knew all the hip-hop songs. The song “Brouk Off dresse Yuh Back” could get not play without her on the dance floor. She Loved movie nights, watching “Rush Hour” & late-night runs with Damon. Family was everything and she appreciated Sunday family time with her dearly departed brothers-inlaws, Michael & Roy & dinner with the Grahams. The Family of the Late

Emelia Antoñetia Kelly Thank you whole-heartedly for your prayers and expressions of love and support during our time of bereavement, May God richly bless you. Prayer

You can only have one mother, patient, kind and true, No other friend in all the world, will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, to mother you will return, For all her loving kindness, she asks nothing in return. As we look upon her pictures, sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full o f sunshine, and a smile for one and all. Sweet Jesus, take this message to our dear mother up above, Tell her how much we miss her and give her all of our love. We Love You Mom… Thank you! Frank R.
