To open a new file- flie import- change footage to composition- the layer sizes one not just composition. . Open.

To set the duration- composition settings- then go down to DURATION and change the times e.g. 0.00. 15.00 Hold down Y for vertical movement and click and drag when key framed.

Copy and pasting key frames.

Select blue diamonds and layer- cmd V This tool converts movements into vector shapes when you draw with it.

A hold key frame keep the key frame locked untill another key frame is created. Helps to achieve a a solid keyframe movement. Can be used for fading in and out. Changing opacity as well though.

Duplicate layers, click position the cmd D. the p.

To make flewed movment. Select make the first key frame, drag the blue line to the time you want it at and then drag you object down , the]is should create an automatic key frame.

Right click go down to toggle and then highlight both and then copy and paste.

Should look something like this These have been copy and pasted and layer duplicated.

The parent layer- on drop down menu where it says none, select the main layer for each layer .e.g. cloud

Audio onto after effects.

File – Import, click on audio file and then open Double click on the layer to reveille the full song to trim down.
