Los Gatos Soda Works Artistic, culinary cocktails take the stage at Los Gatos Soda Works The specialty beverages on the menu at Los Gatos Soda Works are not mere cocktails. They’re liquid delicacies inspired by premiere, fresh ingredients and culinary craftsmanship. “We source our ingredients from all over the world,” says Jason Seele, co-owner of Los Gatos Soda Works with his wife Nicole Seele. “We then use culinary techniques to extract the flavors.” A perfectly applied thermal shock, for instance, can bring unexpected aroma and flavor to life from items such as seeds and nuts. “You should be able to taste every ingredient you see in a cocktail’s description, whether it’s the base spirit, such as gin, or an uncommon fruit like the sea buckthorn,” says Jason, noting that the sea buckthorn is known for its flavor and its high concentration of vitamin C. “We balance these unique ingredients by layering them to create depth and complexity,” he explains. The bartenders at Los Gatos Soda Works are experts in their field who are trained on how to extract base flavors of special ingredients. Between the two of them, Jason and Nicole have worked in every aspect of the restaurant business. The couple decided that, for 2022, they’re going to let Los Gatos Soda Works become what it was meant to be when they opened in early 2020 — the best cocktail bar around. To that end, they’ve created leather-bound menus featuring all of their hand-crafted cocktails as well as an immersive, Los Gatos Soda Works Cocktail Theatre experience. Testarossa Winery

Testarossa Winery is the quintessential Silicon Valley start-up story. Rob and Diana Jensen started making wine in their Sunnyvale garage in 1993 as a weekend hobby. Every year, Testarossa Winery reinvests in restoring and improving the proud old facility. Today, the historic winery is a beautiful setting for outdoor and indoor tastings. Their Wine Bar 107 is named after the original bonded winery number, the 107th licensed winery in the history of the United States. There you can enjoy a glass of wine and small bites.
