The MagCode PowerSystem is a revolutionary magnetic power connector system for 12 V and 24 V applications.
Technology PowerSystem
The PowerPort (socket) and PowerClip (plug) both contain magnets and within the port is a movable plate that when “attracted” by the clip allows current to pass. This system is uniquely keyed so there cannot be a mis mating between 12 and 24V which also makes the system short circuit proof. Once the clip is removed the port is deenergised so even if the contacts are shorted out by a metal object nothing will happen. The flat contacts carry power only when the movable plate in the Port that carries the magnets is attracted by the magnets in the Clip. Other metal objects or permanent magnets cannot energize the contacts.

MagCode PowerSystem Pro is the second generation MagCode connector system giving the benefits of: – Higher separation forces – Higher current load – No arcing problem Technology PowerSystem Pro
A mechanical twist lock ensures that switching does not occur until the connector is fully mated removing any potential arcing and allows a higher current rating of 25A. Applications
The MagCode PowerSystem is already used by many OEMs covering markets such as passenger cars, heavy and light trucks, motorcycles, electric vehicles, emergency vehicles, military vehicles, recreational vehicles and marine.
