We Love Gelish

Hand & Nail Harmony was established in 2009 by Danny Haile, CEO and Founder. Prior to this development, Haile made a name for himself on the nail competition circuit while working at his first successful start-up company; winning over 60 awards in the U.S. and worldwide.

THE HISTORY

Haile was more famously known for his precision in working with acrylic products and was declared two-time International Champion, specializing in Competition Pink and White Acrylic nails. His passion led to his role as Product Developer where he found himself consulting with top companies in the industry. It was at that point when Haile was ready for his next challenge. Haile’s experiences allowed him to see a need to fill a gap in the market. That gap was the separation of gel and bottle. Fuelled by the idea of merging the two, Haile created, what is now popularly known simply as Gelish. Gelish Soak-Off Gel Polish revolutionized the industry. Gelish was the first gel polish to be packaged in a bottle, with a brush, as a quick, easy and efficient gel application process. Since 2009, Gelish has produced over 100 colours and counting, and sold in over 80 countries worldwide. Hand & Nail Harmony, with the help of its successful brand Gelish, now occupies a 220,000 square foot facility in Brea, California with the support of approximately 300 employees.

Haile’s more recent project is the launch of his new lacquer line, Morgan Taylor, named after Haile’s daughter (Morgan) and his business partner David Daniel’s daughter (Taylor). With over 25 years of experience, Haile and Daniel will once again transform the industry, with lacquer that is specially formulated to exceed all other competition. The growth of the company continues to flourish as Hand & Nail Harmony continues to provide surpassing products and meets the demand of the industry. As Danny Haile has said himself “great products accomplish great things.”

You cannot keep up with evolutions unless you are aware of them and awareness comes with education. You know why being educated is extremely important? Because for you to be happy, you need to feel good and confident from within. It is extremely important to be up to date with knowledge within the industry. Education helps us all broaden that spectrum of knowledge. Education is a must for a promising future. Education is the key success. Education gives you confidence. All of the education team have regular and ongoing training to ensure quality and to maintain a high standard of support to every technician.

The key focus at Nail Harmony Australia is to provide a full and comprehensive training program in each individual system of the Nail Harmony range of products. The educators provide you with the skills and techniques needed for you to master the application of the Harmony systems, but also garnish you with knowledge about the products themselves, the science and chemistry behind them and more. It is not possible to successfully learn and understand the art and skill of nails by providing an all in one course short course, there is too much involved.

With that in mind the education program has been designed into individual systems to ensure you gain the most out of the training to suit your training requirements and master the system’s skills and techniques. Offering courses in many different learning formats due to Australia’s vast country and busy life/work schedules, all of Nail Harmony Australia’s courses, no matter the format are extremely in-depth and interactive and will leave you feeling confident in your newfound skill and knowledge. Training is offered in all Harmony systems, 101 and Advanced classes, where you will receive an in-depth student handbook and a certificate upon completing the course, promising all students ongoing support; it does not end after you finish your class; it is just the beginning!

COURSE TYPES

101

Entry-level training will give you the foundation knowledge and skill into each system. Nail Harmony Australia advise basic manicure/pedicure qualification (proof is required). The 101 course requires students to complete written assessments and provide examples of their work to complete the course and gain certification.

ADVANCED

After completing the initial 101 programs for that system, you may want to advance your skills and techniques further to get more from the system. This is your chance to advance your skillset and stand out. Examples of work required to complete and gain certification.

COURSE FORMATS

LIVE ONLINE

Join one of our Australian based Nail Harmony Educators via Zoom for a highly interactive and informative course; it is like being at in-person training but in the comfort of your own home/ salon. If you want to communicate in real-time with your educator, but cannot physically attend in-person training, this is the option for you.

PRE-RECORDED ONLINE

Join one of our Australian based Nail Harmony Master Educators with this in-depth and high quality pre-recorded online courses, allowing you to watch over and over again within a 2-week period at any time and your convenience, in the comfort of your own home/salon.

IN PERSON

Join Nail Harmony Australia for an in-person live class either with one of our wholesale partners or Educator’s available Australia wide.
