Park Cleanups, Trail Workdays, Weed Warrior Workdays ✸ Crop Production Volunteers Help us this spring with growing food crops at Pope Farm Nursery to address food insecurities in Montgomery County! ✸ Nature Center Hosts Welcome visitors to our Nature Centers with a smile and information that will help them enjoy our trails, facilities and programs. ✸ Nature Center Gardeners Spring is coming and our native gardens are waking up! Gardeners help keep them attractive and appealing to park visitors and pollinators alike.

✸ Kingsley School House Docents, Little Bennett Assist our “schoolmaster” showing what learning was like in the past at our historic Schoolhouse ✸ Oakley Cabin Docents, Brookeville Give tours of our cabin that was home to free African Americans from Emancipation to the 20th century ✸ Stream Striders, Watershed Cleanup Leaders – Spring Training Teach groups about why it is important to keep our parks and streams litter free ✸ Instructional Ice Skating Aides, Cabin John and Wheaton Ice Arenas Assist instructors and be an extra pair of hands for group lessons – skating experience required
