VOLUNTEER IN PARKS

Volunteering in Montgomery Parks is such a natural thing to do!

Welcome visitors to our Nature Centers with a smile and information that will help them enjoy our trails, facilities and programs.

Spring is coming and our native gardens are waking up! Gardeners help keep them attractive and appealing to park visitors and pollinators alike. ✸ Oakley Cabin Docents, Brookeville

Give tours of our cabin that was home to free African Americans from Emancipation to the 20th century

✸ Stream Striders, Watershed Cleanup Leaders –

Spring Training

Teach groups about why it is important to keep our parks and streams litter free

✸ Instructional Ice Skating Aides, Cabin John and Wheaton Ice Arenas

Assist instructors and be an extra pair of hands for group lessons – skating experience required
