Little Farmers’ Story Time PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED; NO WALK-INS This monthly program is designed for young children and families and will allow your Little Farmer to learn more about life on a farm! A new story each month includes a take-home activity and free time to explore the farm after story time. All family members must register; 20 person total maximum capacity for children and adults. Pickin’ on the Porch
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED; NO WALK-INS Join the Farm Park’s band-in-residence for a fun-filled evening of heritage music on the front porch of the farmhouse. Bring a picnic and your favorite instrument (even if it is your voice!) to play along or perform in the open mic portion of the evening! All participants must register. 20 person maximum. Farm Park After Dark

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED; NO WALK-INS Each month, join the Agricultural History Farm Park in a day of remembrance as we explore stories from our county’s journey to freedom. Learn about African American music, cooking, and folktales. Learn about the Newman Family who called the Farm home after the Civil War. And, finally, help us in reading aloud the names of those who were enslaved at the farm before the Civil War so their stories will never be lost to history. 20 person maximum.
