We tend to celebrate dramatic changes in weather– the first blanket of snow that covers our sidewalks or the first day of the year we can trade in down feathers for warm-weather silks. Yet in this, we can forget something even more enchanting – whisking winds telling of a coming season. There is magic in the whistles between branches that whisper the promise of transition. We are reminded that soon, we can start over again – begin a new season with the anticipation of greatness that may have been vacant from the last. This phenomenon resonates with our mindset and changes the lens through which we see our wardrobes. We may opt for a blazer rather than a wool sweater, a leather jacket instead of a puffer vest or gravitate towards a cropped jumpsuit rather than denim.
This season at Moda, we are also experiencing quite a bit of change. Drawing more inspiration from how we, as students, interact with the fashion industry, we aim to produce more content worthy of awe. Hopefully you will join us on this journey as we inspire through our weekly Lust Lists, shock through honest photo stories, and push ourselves beyond our comfort zones.
