How did you begin your career?

I started modeling 12 years ago and have been acting for the last 5 years.

How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform?

What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)?

I always hope I can inspire people to be themselves, I’ve put so much of myself on the internet through the years and I always try to lead with laughs and smiles. I want people to feel joy.

What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this spring?

I feel like natural glowy makeup for the day time and a smokey look at night are the two biggest trends I’ve been seeing.

What was your favorite part about your stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?

Besides visiting the most beautiful island and hotel, I think the group was perfect. Everyone got along so well and the trip was us authentically having a good time.

Do you have any upcoming travel plans?

If so, where?

In the summer I have some travel coming up, but right now I need to stay put for my upcoming movie premier!

What was your favorite Pixi product you tried while in Hawaii?

The Pixi Body Glow Mist combined with the Hawaiian sun!

What's your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on? I’m always wearing something comfortable to the airport, usually Alo Yoga. As far as my travel bag — I keep everything anyone could possibly need in there just in case! I am the Mary Poppins of travel bags.

Girls night in or Girls night out? I really love both, but it depends on my mood.

What's a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week? It involves shooting content, meetings on zoom, daily exercise and auditions weekly. Staying productive can be really hard and I’m certainly not the best at it, but the thing that has helped me the most is waking up early. I feel like I have more hours in the day.

What's your current skincare routine? Any products you'd recommend for our Modeliste readers?

I’m currently doing something called skin cycling which is working wonders. It’s a 4 day cycle: day 1 is a chemical exfoliant and a niacinamide, day 2 is retinol, and day 3 and 4 are hydration. During the day, every day, is vitamin C.

What's something your followers would be surprised to know about you? That I go to bed at 8pm.

Where do you gain inspiration for content? Any tips & tricks you'd like to share for those inspiring to have a career like your own? Pinterest, always! I can scroll there for hours.

What makes you different from other content creators?

I think what makes me different is that I do so many different things. I love film photography, acting, modeling, and creating content.

What would you like to say to your fans/ followers?

Go where you are appreciated, loved and celebrated.

Meet Olay Noel, our latest Modeliste Muse. Her journey into the world of modeling ignited at the young age of 15, instilling within her the confidence to pursue her dreams. From there, she collaborated with local photographers in her hometown of Atlanta, further honing her skills in front of the camera, before ultimately making her move to New York City to sign with her dream agency, Wilhelmina Models.

Through her social media platform, Olay endeavors to inspire others to live authentically and passionately pursue their interests. Whether she's sharing her love for music, showcasing her favorite modeling opportunities, or unveiling her fashion and accessory brand, MIANIK, Olay’s platform offers a blend of style, encouragement, and empowerment.

How did you begin your career?

I first took an interest in modeling when I was 15, and entered a shopping mall runway competition, which I fortunately won. This boosted my confidence and opened my mind to all that was possible for my future. I worked with local photographers in my hometown of Atlanta to build my portfolio and experience in front of the camera. The love flowered and a few years later I moved to NYC to sign with my dream agency, Wilhelmina models.

How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform? What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)?

The best thing I can do is lead by example. I do all I can to create a life tailor- made to my interest and encourage others to do the same. God has blessed me with a love for music, modeling and entrepreneurship and this is what I'm happiest doing. Life is going to come with uncertainties, ups and downs no matter the path you choose so I believe it's critical to do what you love so that passion will keep you inspired. I share my love of music, my favorite modeling jobs, and my fashion and accessory brand MIANIK on my social media pages. You may catch a dance move, roller skating or a workout routine every now and then because I enjoy staying active.

What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this spring?

I love a pop of blush on my cheeks to brighten a natural makeup look. I am a lifetime lover of juicy lips and the new lip glazes do an amazing job of keeping my lips hydrated all day.

What was your favorite part about your stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?

The best part about staying at Fairmont Kea Lani was being so close to the ocean. The views of the whales, morning yoga on the beach while hearing the waves crash, and the stunning sunsets every night at dinner are moments I will cherish forever.

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?

My next adventure will be to Jamaica for their annual carnival in April. This will be my first time playing pretty mas with the band, dressed in my colorful sparkly costume and I am beyond excited for this experience of my Caribbean culture.

What was your favorite Pixi product you tried while in Hawaii?

The sheer cheek gel was love at first application! I love the vibrant rosy color and glow it gave to my cheeks and can't wait to try the other shades.

Girls night in or Girls night out?

Nothing quite compares to being cozy with your girls in the comfort of your home. One of my favorite moments from this trip was our Galentines girls night. We laughed so hard our stomachs were hurting and in my book that beats going out to any party.

What's your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on?

A comfy oversized jogger set is my go to airport look. I always carry a coat no matter where I'm going because it's always freezing on the plane. My carry on must haves are passport with a pen, wire earphones, neck pillow, alcohol wipes, phone charger and a backup battery in case the planes outlets don't work (we've all been there) and lastly my silk heated eye mask will give you the best sleep you've ever had on a plane.

What's a typical work week like for you?

Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?

In a typical work week I juggle between modeling gigs, building my accessory and clothing company MIANIK, and writing and recording new music at the studio. I love to create so that's how I spend most of my time. In the mornings I workout, which can be anything from a hike to pilates or a HIIT class and in the evenings I cook and prepare for the next day. Staying organized is my key to being productive and I do this by writing down all of my to-dos and scheduling reminders for events and special dates on my phone calendar.

What's your current skincare routine?

Any products you'd recommend for our Modeliste readers?

I keep my daily skincare quite simple with a foaming face wash, fermented rice exfoliating scrub and Osea face cream, which I'm obsessed with and an SPF. Every other week I'll give myself an at home facial where I go in more depth with my facial steamer, clay mask, and serums to bring out my best and brightest skin. I went through a phase of using a million products on my face but found that less is more once you find the few staples products that work best for you.

What's something your followers would be surprised to know about you?

I share a lot of myself with my followers but one thing they don't know is my love for acting. I've been studying for many years and enjoy being able to express myself in that way. Eventually, I will share it with my followers and the rest of the world but for now it's sacred.

Where do you gain inspiration for content? Any tips & tricks you'd like to share for those inspiring to have a career like your own?

Collaboration is my favorite way to stay inspired. Stepping outside of oneself and working with other creative minds to create something truly unique is the content I'm most proud of. I encourage others to do the same as well as research and ask for advice from people who are where you want to be. Today there is information easily accessible on practically everything under the sun so use those tools and ask loads of questions.

What makes you different from other content creators?

I believe my variety of interests and professions separates me from other content creators. Creating music, fashion accessories/clothing, and 10+ years of modeling experience ensures there is never a dull moment or something exciting to see and learn.

What would you like to say to your fans/ followers?

I adore you for being on this journey with me and appreciate all of your love and support over the years. I hope you continue to come along for the ride because we have an exciting future ahead!

How did you begin your career?

My career began when I got asked to model while out shopping. I never thought I could be a model and social media hadn’t developed the, “Influencer,” just yet. From curating content on Instagram to shooting with brands with large followings, I started my journey and I’m so grateful for it ever since!

How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform?

What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)? I hope I inspire people to be the best, most genuine version of themselves. I hope they love and care for themselves and remember how beautiful every individual is in their own magical way. You can expect to see my travels, food, fashion, makeup, puppies and more on my page!

What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this spring?

I predict the biggest makeup trends this spring are going to be bright pastel colors on the eyes and lips.

What was your favorite part about your stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?

My favorite part about my stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani was the spa! The spa was so incredibly beautiful with amazing different shower options and one of the best massages I’ve had.

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?

’m planning on going to Mexico very soon to hit up the beaches in Cabo!

What's a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?

My work week is very out of routine. I am always working out, creating content, shooting with photographers or shooting myself from home. Everyday is an opportunity to put energy back towards yourself so I would say take care of yourself first before you do everything else you need done.

Girls night in or Girls night out?

Girls night in! I love playing games and eating and drinking in my pajamas!

What's your current skincare routine? Any products you'd recommend for our Modeliste readers?

I absolutely live by toners. I use a toner twice daily before bed and when I wake up. I recommend Paula’s Choice as a toner if you have trouble skin.

What's something your followers would be surprised to know about you?

I feel like my followers would be surprised to know that I’m bilingual and speak Spanish fluently.

What makes you different from other content creators?

What makes me different from other content creators is that I post content I only absolutely adore and support so I wouldn’t ever try to influence anyone on something I don’t genuinely enjoy in real life.

What would you like to say to your fans/ followers?

I would like to say to my fans and followers how much I’m thankful for them! Without you guys I wouldn’t be where I am today and I’m so grateful to use you guys as my light in my life that keeps me motivated and positive to keep going forward in life no matter what difficulties I face. How did you begin your career?

I started my YouTube channel and a blog in 2013 while in University and by the time I graduated in 2016, it was my full-time job!

How do you hope to inspire people through your social media platform? What can your followers expect to see when visiting your social media page(s)? I love to entertain and try to include something fun and something educational as takeaways from every upload. We are all just trying to get through the day and I want my community to feel inspired, but also good and supported when they come to my pages.

What do you predict will be the biggest makeup trends this spring? Orange everything and bright bold lips.

What was your favorite part about your stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?

Listen, the breakfast buffet is my favorite part of any vacay. Kea Lani knows what’s up at their omelet station!

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? If so, where?

I have a lot of travel due to work coming up, but my top destination that I am ACHING to visit personally is Turkey!

What was your favorite Pixi product you tried while in Hawaii?

The juicy blush stick is so gorgeous for spring and summer.

What's your go-to airport look? Essentials to pack in a carry on?

I do not believe in discomfort on airplanes. I love a matching sweatsuit set with sneakers that is comfortable on any length of flight, and if I need to look presentable, I can always pack a change of clothes in my carry on! Essentials are anything to refresh on the go. Face mist, deodorant, fragrance, and hand cream are some of my must haves.

Girls night in or Girls night out? Listen, that depends on the mood and the vibe and where we are … if it’s a girls night at home, we are staying in and making dinner and playing a game. If we are elsewhere for the night or weekend — we are going OUT to dance!

What's a typical work week like for you? Any advice you have for staying productive throughout the week?

Every week is different for me so it can be hard to stick to a routine. My only advice is to plan ahead and be adaptable. I heard a quote recently that said “how you spend your day is how you spend your life” and that usually helps me get out of bed and rock on with what I need to get done!

What's your current skincare routine? Any products you'd recommend for our Modeliste readers?

I recently simplified my skincare routine right down to the basics and am only using what I need. Vitamin C, Retinol, a hydrating cream, sunscreen, and a cleanser. Everything else is for fun and fluff!

What would you like to say to your fans/ followers?

I love you all and thank you for making the internet a wonderful place to be in, every single day! I am forever so grateful and feel so lucky to have such a loving community of incredible and hilarious people.
