Modellenland Magazine is a fresh, new submissionbased editorial publication that celebrates the true art of fashion and the emerging artists behind it.

Modellenland is a Free Belgian magazine but we accept also entries from other countries.

Everybody can publish for free ,photographers, MUA, stylists, models, good amateur, students, semiprofessional, professional etc...

The focus will not only be on fashion, but food, lifestyle, animals, landscapes, are also welkom.

Modellenland Magazine is a fashion, beauty, editorial and conceptual art magazine and will be published monthly

The goal is to show our submitters their portfolio worldwide to model and PR-agencies, and brand labels.

Modellenland will focus on creative minds from all over the fashion world. It will be a magazine for aspiring artists who deserve recognition for their work.

Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Olivia, I am 21 years old, and I come from Denmark. I live in a small apartment in Aarhus with my boyfriend. I am very passionate about health and wellness and my interests are therefore circled around that. Fitness, handball, yoga, music, crocheting and cooking are the hobbies that I give attention to in my everyday life. In December I went to India to become a yoga instructor, and now I have that as a job as well.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I wouldn’t change anything about myself, but I will continue on working with the control of my own mind and growing in being aware and caring for my fellow Human beings.

How did you start modelling? When I was 16 years old I was scouted by my agency and have been with them ever since.

What do you think of the work as a model? I think it is very fun that I get to do these kinds of jobs that are different from a “normal” job. I love being creative and seeing the results afterwards.

What is your beauty regimen? My beauty routine is primarily my diet, which is filled with food that helps me feel and look my best.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? Physically I stand out in the crowd with my red hair and freckles.

What are your plans for the future? My biggest dream is to live in the countryside and have a big family and some animals. I want to study nutrition and health and of course continue my modeling career for a long time.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? It's very special to have my pictures hanging around in the city that I live in.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? As long as you get to do what makes you happy, then go for it. Don’t let anyone convince you that you can’t do it all.

What do you think of the magazine? I think it is great that the models get a voice through the magazine.

Can you tell us a little about you? I would describe myself as a soul that thrives on constant motion. If I don’t change my surroundings at least once a year, I tend to feel restless and unhappy. So far, I’ve earned a degree in Humanities and am now pursuing a Master’s in Digital Storytelling. Art and communication are my true passions, even if my introverted nature might not make that immediately obvious.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I’d like to change my tendency to overthink, as I often give far too much weight to things beyond my control. I believe this is something that will improve with time and maturity. Occasionally, anxiety and excessive self-criticism throw me off balance, causing me to lose my sense of direction—sometimes even my sense of self. However, I don’t see it as something I can’t overcome. I just need to give myself time and work on it, like everyone else.

How did you start modelling? I had my first audition in Bologna when I was 15, but it wasn’t until I turned 16 that I posed for the first time. It wasn’t love at first sight—in fact, I thought it would be my last. However, from the age of 18, I started posing more regularly for private projects, eventually moving on to workshops and small advertising campaigns.

What do you think of the model work ? As far as my experience goes, posing has helped me in many ways. It allowed me to pay for my studies and rent while I was at university. It helped me appreciate myself, rediscover who I am, and better understand myself. However, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing: you have to learn to handle a lot of rejections without taking them too personally. I had to take a year off to focus on myself, and I wasn’t always fortunate enough to work with truly professional people. But I’m neither the first nor the last to go through this. For better or worse, these are the experiences that shape your character.

What is your beauty regimen? My beauty routine begins with prioritizing self-care as much as possible. It might sound simple, but starting the day with a good skincare routine, eating well, and working out three times a week can make a real difference. And I’m not just saying this for those pursuing a career in modeling—it’s an advice that can benefit anyone.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I’m definitely known for my self-ironic humor and my somewhat irreverent way of communicating. When photographers or people who’ve only seen me on social media meet me in person, they’re almost always surprised. Many expect me to be “snobbish” (likely thanks to my resting face giving off that impression), but that couldn’t be further from the truth. You really have to get to know me to believe it!

What are your plans for the future? Survive my own mind. On a more serious note, I hope to complete this final degree (without my overachieving tendencies pushing me to pursue yet another Master’s) and to have more and more exciting and enriching experiences in media and photography. But most of all, I want to feel good about myself.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? This year, "Cinema meets Fashion in Iceland" was the standout. I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit a majestic land, pose amidst breathtaking landscapes, and challenge one of my biggest enemies: the cold. As I have already mentioned, this experience not only enriched my portfolio with amazing shots but also touched my soul. It was five days spent with people who wanted to tell something, achieve results, and fully embrace the entire experience.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? Never embark on this journey completely alone; always talk to and ask someone you trust to accompany you along the way (until you’re aware and independent enough). Don’t let impatience and comparisons with others ruin your path— we’re not all the same, we don’t all follow the same journey, and that’s perfectly fine. Trust yourself and work to bring out your authentic personality.

What do you think of the magazine? I believe it’s a great platform to meet and engage with other personalities in the industry.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am a teacher, a reader, a photographer, a good friend, and a lover of life and beauty. For years, I have used photography to capture the beauty around me, but I eventually shifted my focus to portraits. I believe the greatest show is in a person’s gaze, in the emotions of someone who stands before us with a story to tell. Their story. That’s my true calling: to take beautiful photos, of course, but ones that convey something, that tell a story, a moment, or an intimacy.

How and when did you get into photography?

I became passionate about photography several years ago, with the advent of the first cell phones with cameras. At that time, I enjoyed capturing landscapes, and I was pleased with the shots I took. Eventually, I realized I wanted to focus on portraits because I believe the most beautiful journey is the one we take within a person. Today, I continue to study and work on emotional portraiture to constantly improve my craft.

What does photography mean to you?

For me, photography is beauty, soul, intensity, and light. When I first read the phrase “drawing with light,” I realized it was not just a figure of speech. Light can completely transform a photograph. This is especially true in portraits, where it seems to sculpt the human face. I prefer natural light because I believe photography should be spontaneous. I want the people in front of my camera to feel comfortable and free to express themselves.

How would you describe your photography style?

I wouldn’t call myself a professional photographer yet, so forgive me if this sounds obvious, but my style is natural and spontaneous. I invite people to tell their stories, and I capture photos while they do. A perfectly posed photo, no matter how technically flawless, will never surpass the beauty of a genuine, spontaneous smile. I love colors, but black and white photography is timeless.

Where do you get your inspiration?

From the greatest photographers who have a story to tell. I admire Diane Arbus, Steve McCurry, Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, Dorothea Lange and many others, some of whom are famous in the Italian national scene, such as Andrea Schallschmidt (Veneto) and MauroGrosso (Campania), my teachers. Anyone who can capture even a fragment of a soul in a glance is an inspiration to me.

Do you plan your shots in advance?

Yes. When I decide to photograph someone, I already have a vision of what I want to capture. The image exists in my mind—right down to how they are dressed or how their hair is styled. I imagine their expressions, whether they are laughing or lost in thought. That’s why I like to take time before every session to get to know the person and connect with them on an emotional level.

Do you prefer shooting in a studio or on location?

As I mentioned, I love shooting outdoors. While the outdoor environment is less predictable and harder to control, it often offers wonderful surprises. Since I value spontaneity, I enjoy embracing the unexpected.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a professional? Is there a middle ground?

What has been your most memorable session so far?

So far, my favorite sessions have been with ordinary people. Photographing a professional model is a valuable experience because they can deliver exactly what you envision, and you can learn a lot. But when you photograph someone who is not a model, and you manage to bring out the emotions you had already imagined, it’s an incredible and deeply rewarding experience.

Nikon or Canon? What’s your favorite lens?

I started with Nikon, but it didn’t fully satisfy me. Today, I use a Sony ILCE-6400 with various lenses that I’m gradually adding to my collection. It makes me very happy! However, my dream camera is still a Leica.

What advice would you give to a new photographer starting their own business?

Study and challenge yourself. Most importantly, don’t get discouraged. Be patient—photography requires patience! Photography is an art, and like any art, there’s no final destination. You’ll always be growing, and every day brings an opportunity to learn something new.

What do you think of our new magazine?

I think art, in all its forms, is a beautiful but challenging world to navigate. A magazine that provides visibility to everyone, without discrimination and for free, is a wonderful initiative. I am deeply grateful to those who run this magazine for giving me this opportunity. I am truly honored. Thank you.

I don't think I would change anything about myself, I like all my features and appearance

How did you start modelling?

My story with modeling started when I was a little kid, I always dreamed about it. When I was older I took part in a beauty contest where I was successful

What do you think of the work as a model?

Modeling requires a lot of time and health. it is tiring but perfect for me, I am fulfilling my dreams

What is your beauty regimen?

My skincare ritual starts with washing my face, then I do a facial massage with a Gua Sha stone, then I apply eye cream, serum, moisturizer and SPV cream

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Personal characteristics that distinguish me from others include passions and interests, character and way of thinking, and life experiences

What are your plans for the future?

My future plans are to become a famous model and interior designer

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

My favourite experiences so far are traveling, spending time with family, beauty pageants which started my modeling career

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

My advice for beginners is to develop your portfolio, take care of yourself, learn to walk in heels, find a good agency and be patient

Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Emilija and I'm a 21-year old girl living in Denmark. I was born and raised in Lithuania, but moved to Denmark with my parents when I was 9. I am studying in marketing and doing modelling in my free time.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? As a freelance model, I’ve learned to embrace my uniqueness, but if I could change anything, it would be to worry less about perfection. Sometimes I overthink the smallest details, but I’m learning that confidence and authenticity matter more than being perfect.

How did you start modelling? There was a photographer that contacted me through Insta. asking me if I could be interested in a shoot, and after some thought, I said yes and never regretted it.

What do you think of the work as a model? I think being a model is really fun and creative. I love trying different looks, meeting new people, and being part of projects where I can express myself. It can be challenging sometimes, like long hours or staying confident, but overall, I really enjoy the experience and the opportunities it brings.

What is your beauty regimen? I keep it pretty simple. I wash my face, use moisturizer, and always wear sunscreen. I drink plenty of water and try to eat healthy. For makeup, I usually go for a natural look, but I like to have fun with it sometimes!

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I think what makes me stand out is my positivity and determination. I always try to stay optimistic, even when things get tough, and I’m very focused on reaching my goals. I’m also really easygoing and love connecting with people, which helps me work well in different situations

What are your plans for the future? My number one plan is to finish my studies and finding a job I like. I leave the rest for destiny.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? Some of my favorite experiences so far have been beach shoots. There’s something so magical about being by the ocean—the natural light, the sound of the waves, and the fresh air make everything feel so vibrant and alive. I also love how creative you can get with beach settings.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? My advice is to believe in yourself and be confident. Also, it’s really important to always listen to your boundaries and make sure you feel comfortable with every opportunity. Stay true to who you are and have fun with it.

What do you think of the magazine? I think the magazine is awesome because it makes it easy to share new content and reach a lot of people. It’s a great way to discover styles, ideas, and trends. I also love how accessible it is—anyone can check it out anytime!

Can you tell us a little about you? I’m a fashion photographer based in Paris. I started my career back in 2015 in Russia. My passion in photography is to help brands in creating their visual identity in photographs and tell their beautiful stories.

How and when did you get into photography? Since the early childhood my « best friend » was a pencil, I drew sketches everywhere, that’s how I found myself in the School of Arts. One day I opened for myself a photography as a mean of self-expression and discovering the world. I remember myself being keen on fashion, but I started with portraits. Few years after, in 2015 I established a fashion photography brand and now I continue to enjoy photography every day in the studio in the heart of Paris in the 4th arrondissement.

What does photography mean to you? When I come into studio - I feel myself being at home. When I take the camera I have so much energy. So photography means a world to me. I love the emotions that I receive from taking photos of people and their creations, as I always receive a positive feedback. Now I’m focused on the new brands and working with independent designers, as I admire their passion.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture? Yes, sure, for me shooting is 60% of preparation and 40% of improvisation. Nothing should distract the photographer and the model in the moment, so before I think about the result, create the moodboard and discuss the references and details with my team.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. It’s difficult for me to describe my style, because every shooting for me is special. The model, the mood, the light and the style inspire me each time. For me - less is more, and if we can simplify the image, I do it without any hesitations. Too strong light? - we soften it. Too many accessories? - we remove them. Too much drama? - we calm down. All these decisions make an image more realistic, but never boring. I’m also not a fan of over retouched images with not natural emotions. Models tell me that they like to work with me, because I have a gentle character and I never create a mess and a stress on the set. That also explains, why I invite to my team only positive and confident professionals.

Where do you get inspiration from? I take inspiration in art and in life. For example, my last editor for L’Officiel « Exceptionnelle » was inspired by the exhibition « Mercury and Venus » by Viviane Sassen that I visited in Huis Marseille gallery (Amsterdam). We amalgamated the aesthetics of antiquity and vivid colours, creating a static and relaxed mood. During the shooting I’m always inspired by the model and everything that surrounds her or him. It’s a wonderful feeling when you got that image where everything matches beautifully.

Studio, on location or both? It depends on the aim, how we can compare winds and waves of Étretat and perfect light scheme is the studio? I love both. Moreover, I use my mobile studio to be sure everything is under control even on the location.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I consider myself being lucky as I have the possibility to make profession out of my hobby.

What has been your most memorable session and why? My the most memorable session was an editorial shooting on a yacht with a great team. I was born and raised by the Black Sea, so water gives me so much energy and inspiration.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I’m a « canonist », my favorite lenses are universal Canon f4 24-105, f2.8 70200mm and for portraits Sigma 1.4 50mm.

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start? If we are talking about the business, it’s important to have all the documentation, as we have a lot of nuances in the photography. The other advice is to create different PDF-portfolio books and be ready to send them to the clients. It’s also necessary to organise your working routine, because when we are talking about photography as a business it’s also marketing, PR, accounting and many other things you should take care about. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help of the other professionals to grow your business efficiently.

What do you think of our new magazine? I was glad to discover for myself ModellenLand Magazine and I find it being a perfect platform for photographers to share their passion. The editorials are so different, I always read the magazine from the first to the last page with a sincere curiosity. I think that the team of ModellenLand Magazine does a great job! Can you tell us a little about you? I was born and raised in the country, one hour away from Vienna. I think I have the typical girl next door aditude. I love to do long walks with my dog and just be in the nature.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I think I would change my impatience and in this industry you need a lot of it .

How did you start modelling? I got scouted at the age of 14 in a shopping Mall from a photograper. He asks if i wanted to do a shooting. But I did not take it serious at that time. Some years later I applied to agencies by myself. Really professional I do it since 6 years.

What do you think of the work as a model? I have found something that I enjoy doing. I feel like a lot of people don’t realize what an insight models have into a creative world. You learn so much. How much work goes into a perfect picture and a woman looking the way she looks on a magazine cover. That’s a lot of work. Constant touch ups, perfect lighting, retouching, styling, a whole team that is there to make a woman as beautiful as possible.

What is your beauty regimen? I don´t think I have a beauty regimen. I coud tell you that I drink a lot of water and go to bed before midnight but this is what the most of the models would say. So no, I dont think I have a regimen.

What are your plans for the future? Doing this kind of job as long as possible and after that I would like to shoot kids fashion. Besides modelling I have started shooting kids and i like it very much. I love working with kids, that’s why I have also studied teaching for elementary school 5 years ago.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? Seeing myself on billboards and covers. For example I always take photos of it when I see myself hanging around in stores.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? Never compare yourself to others. What is meant to happen, will happen. Be out there, be active, work hard on yourself. Be kind and professional. I it makes you uncomfortable or unhappy it might not be right.

What do you think of the magazine? I like Modellenland for their great content. It always shows great Models and Photographers. Thanks for having me.

TAHE presents GLYMPSE: The collection that celebrates self-expression through hair.

The new proposal from the Spanish cosmetics firm breaks gender barriers and redefines style with innovative cuts and colors for the Fall-Winter '24 season. The creative team was made up of José Luis García, Francisco Terrón, Yolanda Gil and Raquel Corchero under the art direction of Jose Ferrer Two of the core values of the collection are its inclusive approach and sustainability, as the collection is moving to a 100% digital format.

Tahe launches Glympse, its new collection of haircuts and coloring for the Fall-Winter '24 season, a creative and revolutionary proposal that opens a window to self-expression through hair. With a fleeting look towards a future without barriers, Glympse challenges the monotony of everyday life, where each style reflects the authenticity and versatility of those who seek to break with pre-established norms.

“The core concept of Glympse is freedom of expression through hair,” says José Ferrer, the collection’s art director. “We wanted to create a collection that celebrates individuality and challenges traditional style norms. Glympse is an invitation to explore your own identity.”

A perfect synergy between cut and colour;

The Glympse collection features six unique styles that combine innovative cuts with expressive colours. The creative team has worked on a harmonious integration of shapes and tones, ensuring that each detail complements the other. Techniques such as disruptive balayage have been explored to add movement and depth to vibrant shades such as coral and copper. Classic cuts such as the pixie and bob have been reinterpreted with geometric lines that highlight the natural texture of the hair

"There is a very strong connection between the cuts and the colours," says the art director. "Each style has been designed not only to enhance the facial features, but also to enhance the nuances we have selected. From more structured and geometric cuts with colours such as red or coral, to softer and more natural options that are accompanied by warm tones such as copper or ash blonde."

An inclusive approach without gender barriers.

One of the core values of the collection is its inclusive approach. Glympse celebrates diversity and breaks down gender barriers in the field of hair styling. “We want to make it clear that fashion and style have no gender,” explains Ferrer. “This collection is designed to be accessible to anyone who wants to express themselves. Androgynous cuts and colours that don’t follow binary patterns are a clear message that hair is for everyone, and traditional barriers are a thing of the past.”

Retro-futuristic inspiration and a sustainable approach.

With clear influences from the 70s and 80s, but with a futuristic approach, Glympse combines the best of the past with a touch of modernity. "We were inspired by the textured and voluminous cuts of those decades, but with contemporary finishes and modern coloring techniques," says Ferrer. The collection has also been inspired by elements of pop culture and urban art, which give it a fresh and experimental feel.

Can you tell us a little about yourself? I am a passionate photographer specializing in nature and wedding photography. Photography is my passion, which I combine with my love for travel and discovering the beauty of everyday moments in nature. I enjoy exploring wildlife and flora and telling their stories through my lens.

How and when did you start photography? I became interested in photography at the age of 15 when I saw the work of other photographers. Later, I bought my first camera. At first, it was just fun, but over time it became something more – a way to express myself and document the world around me.

What does photography mean to you? Photography is the art of capturing moments, emotions, and beauty in their most authentic form. For me, it’s also a way to freeze time and convey certain stories or emotions that might be difficult to express with words.

Describe your photography style briefly. My style is natural and emotional, with a strong focus on light and details. I love working with soft daylight, creating images that are both visually stunning and emotionally moving.

Where do you draw your inspiration from? I draw inspiration from nature, music, films, and other photography. Travel also plays a significant role in my work – every new landscape, culture, or moment can serve as inspiration for creating unique images.

Studio, outdoor, or both? Definitely outdoor ! Nature and daylight provide unlimited possibilities. Working outdoors allows me to be more creative and free.

Do you plan ahead what you want to capture in a photo? I usually have a general vision before starting a session, but I leave room for spontaneity. I believe the best photos are created when we allow ourselves to capture unplanned moments.

Do you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I still have the passion and joy for photography that I had from the beginning. I try to make every project more than just work for me. Definitely a hobbyist!

What was your most memorable session and why? One of the most memorable sessions was capturing a heron on the Narew River. The weather was challenging, but the views and emotions I managed to capture were worth every effort. It was an amazing experience. Additionally, the photo was recognized on the National Geographic Poland fan page.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I’m team Sony! My favorite lens is the Sony 200-600mm. It offers beautiful depth of field and allows me to capture stunning frames from a distance.

What one piece of advice would you give to a beginner photographer who wants to start their own business? Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and experiment. Find your own style and take photos with passion, and success will come with time. It’s also important to invest in your development – both in equipment and education.

Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Maria Kissov and I'm from Denmark. I work as model and I have started a modelling agency in Denmark, where we recruit various models with a focus on diversity and process learning.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Can't think of a specific thing. But I always try to learn from my mistakes and improve all aspects in life.

How did you start modelling? My mom was contacted by a Danish wedding photographer (when I was 15) who wanted to shoot pictures of me, cause she thought I had a very wild facial features and a slim figure for fashion.

What do you think of the work as a model? I love working as a model, its a creative job where you get the chance to make something beautiful or tell a story

What is your beauty regimen? My nails actually. The first thing you do when you meet new people, is to shake hands. First-hand impression is important for me.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I like to think that I have a big library of different modeling poses and keep things like lighting and camera angle in mind, and I try to share my ideas with the talents around me.

What are your plans for the future? I want to travel the world. Keep following my dreams and build a successful modelling agency and keep improving on my model career. Stay grateful for the people around me and keeping my family first.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? Shooting in France/Nice for Karma of Charme.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? Respect yourself and your limits. be realistic. Can you tell us a little about you? Welcome. I am Sławek and I am a photographer from Poland. I am 32 years old, a loving and patient wife and two cats :)

How and when did you get into photography? I have been dealing with photography for about 6 years, 4 of which professionally. I spend every moment photographing, learning and inspiring myself. I browse hundreds of photos every day. How did I start my adventure with photography? A friend of mine bought a used camera with lighter glass and we took some pictures. We were very excited about the boke in the background, amazed how it happened that such a box encloses part of the world in one picture. I decided that I also want to take beautiful photos like other photographers. And so I got to the point where photography is part of my life.

What does photography mean to you? Photography is a way of life for me, it is part of it. My wife laughs at me that photography is my lover, because sometimes I spend more time with it. It allows me to express myself. It opens the door to meeting new people.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I think I could describe it as a natural style. I like when my models are natural, when they behave this way and when they look like that in my photos.

Where do you get inspiration from? I am trying to be inspired by everything that surrounds me. Sometimes they are people, images, and sometimes ordinary clothes through which I will get an idea for sessions.

Studio, on location or both? I feel good in the studio and out, it all depends on the concept and the weather.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture? Yes, I always have a plan before the session that I try to implement, although it sometimes happens that something completely different comes out, sometimes better than what I planned.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I live, I buy food and pay my bills thanks to photography, I give it a lot of time, there is only one answer :)

What has been your most memorable session and why? I remember every session, but I don't think I have any specific one.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Canon. The lens is 85L 1.2. It is an old construction and I consider its disadvantages as advantages. He is wonderful. Its optics, vividness, soft focus, resolution, make the image created with its use have the impression that it was created with the use of an analog. This is by far my favorite lens.

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Be patient, do your job, be inspired. An investment in yourself is the best investment you could ever make, but most of all, be yourself. (Unless you can be spiderman then be spiderman)

Can you tell us a little about yourself? I am Mario Palma, a photographer from Taranto. I capture unique moments with my lens, signing my works as Mario'5, a tribute to my first son, born in 2005.

How and when did you start getting into photography? I still remember the feeling of wonder I felt as a child, the first time I saw my father's Kodak rangefinder camera. That somewhat retro shape, the sturdy metal body, seemed almost magical to me. And then there were the photographs: the black and white ones, with their intense contrasts and slightly nostalgic atmospheres, transported me to distant worlds, the result of my father's business trips. Over the years, that simple curiosity turned into a deeper and deeper passion. Seeing my brother buying his first CONTAX, with the first wages he earned, and starting shooting withfriends was like a spark that ignited something inside me. His photos, full of life and energy, showed me a new way of seeing the world.

When I could finally afford my first SLR, a Minolta X300, it was like a dream come true. I still remember the excitement of holding the camera, of composing the first shot, of pressing the shutter button. Since then, photography has become an integral part of my life, a way to express myself, to capture the most beautiful moments, to tell stories.

Briefly describe your photographic style to our readers. My photographic style is a tribute to timeless elegance combined with the vibrant energy of the contemporary fashion world. I am inspired by the great masters of photography, such as Edward Steichen and Helmut Newton, who captured the essence of feminine beauty with unparalleled mastery.

In my work, I try to combine the elegance of the past with the modernity of the present. I use sophisticated lighting techniques and dynamic poses to create images that are both refined and contemporary. Fashion, for me, is a universal language that allows us to express our personality and creativity. Through my photographs, I want to celebrate feminine beauty in all its forms, enhancing the strength, independence and sensuality of the modern woman.

What does photography mean to you? Photography, a universal language that transcends language and cultural barriers, invites us to start an extraordinary journey. Through the lens, we can catapult ourselves to faraway places, relive past moments and connect with people from all over the world. Whether it is an intense portrait, a breathtaking landscape or a simple everyday object, each image is a unique work of art, capable of evoking emotions and provoking reflection. Where do you get your inspiration from? At the beginning of my photographic journey, I was obsessed with technical perfection. Every shot had to be flawless, perfectly composed, with the right light and exposure parameters. I was looking for the perfect photo, the one that followed all the rules to the letter. Over the years, however, I have realised that photography is much more than just a technique. It is a way to express oneself, to tell stories, to excite. I started looking for a personal visual language, a unique way of seeing the world and conveying it through my images. Today, inspiration no longer comes only from the search for technical perfection, but from the desire to excite, to provoke, to leave a mark. I try to capture the essence of things, emotions, atmospheres. I want my photographs to be an invitation to reflect, to dream, to feel.

Do you think in advance about what you want to appear in the image? When I set out to make an image, I always have a vision in mind, an idea of what I would like the end result to look like. It is like a dream taking shape in my mind, an emotion I want to convey. But photography is a collaborative art, and this initial vision is only the starting point of a dialogue.

A dialogue is established with my staff, with the model, with the surroundings. The initial idea is a seed that is planted, but it is in comparison with others that sprouts and grows. The model, with her expressiveness and personality, adds a fundamental piece to the puzzle. The make-up artist, the stylist, the set designer: everyone brings their own contribution, enriching the image with their creativity.

And then there is the environment, the external context. Light, colours, textures: these are elements that profoundly influence the final result. Sometimes, reality exceeds our expectations, surprises us with unexpected details, offers us opportunities we had not foreseen. It is in these moments that photography becomes a magical experience, a creative adventure. Photography, for me, is a continuous balance between vision and reality. It is the ability to translate an abstract idea into a concrete image, to capture the essence of a moment, to create a lasting emotion. It is a constant dialogue between myself and the world around me, a journey to discover beauty.

Do you prefer working in the studio, outdoors or both? Depending on the message I want to convey, I choose to immerse myself in the intimacy of the studio or lose myself in the vastness of nature.

The studio is my laboratory, the place where I can control every aspect of the scene: the light, the background, the pose of the model. Here I seek perfection, purity of colour. I want every detail of the garment to be maximised, the beauty of the fabric and the complexity of the shapes to be enhanced. It is in the studio that I can create refined, elegant images that celebrate the static beauty of things.

But photography is not just studying. There is another part of me that yearns for freedom, for the unpredictability of nature. Outdoors, I feel free to experiment, to play with natural light, to capture the essence of the model in her context. I love to blend the beauty of women with the power ofnature, to create images that tell stories, that arouse emotions. Ultimately, both the studio and the outdoors offer me unique opportunities to express my creativity. It is like having two different brushes with which to paint reality: one precise and detailed, the other freer and more spontaneous. The choice always depends on my mood, the message I want to communicate and the subject in front of me.

Do you consider yourself a hobbyist or a professional? I do not live from photography, yet I feel that it is a fundamental part of my life. This distance from the professional world gives me a creative freedom that I consider precious. Without the pressure of having to meet a client's demands, I can devote myself to the search for a personal visual language, free of constraints and conventions. I love experimenting with new techniques, new styles, new approaches. Every shot is an opportunity to learn something new, to improve, to evolve. I believe that this hobbyist attitude of mine allows me to keep my passion and curiosity alive. I never tire of exploring new subjects, playing with light, composing images in an original way. Photography is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and joy for me.

What was the session you enjoyed the most and why? It is really difficult to choose a favourite photo session. Throughout all these years, I have been lucky enough to work with extraordinary people, models who have inspired me and with whom I have shared unique moments. I always try to capture the essence of each person in front of me, their unique and authentic beauty. And I must say that in every session I have found something special, something that moved me. Perhaps that is why I find it so difficult to choose a favourite. All the people I have worked with have contributed to creating a magical atmosphere of professionalism, complicity and mutual respect. Their trust in me allowed me to experiment, to dare, to always seek new challenges. And this is precisely what I am passionate about in photography: the constant research, the desire to discover new worlds, to create images that excite and remain in the heart. What advice would you give to a new photographer who wants to start their ownbusiness? Starting a photography business is a dream for many, but it requires commitment, passion and determination. The first fundamental thing is a strong passion for photography. Without a true vocation, it will be difficult to overcome the difficult moments that will inevitably arise. In the beginning, results may not be immediate. It is important to be aware that the road to success is often long and winding. It will take time, dedication and sacrifice to become known and established in the market.

The key to success lies in being able to adapt and keep up with the times. The world of photography is constantly evolving, so it is essential to keep up to date with new technologies, market trends and customer needs. Maturity is another key element. Knowing how to manage one's finances, building a network of contacts and communicating effectively with customers are skills that will make all the difference.

Remember: the greatest satisfaction is not just financial success, but the personal fulfilment of having turned your passion into a job. With commitment and dedication, the rewards you deserve will also come.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? That I have more confidence.

How did you start modelling? It was just for fun, then I loved it so I practice more and more and still learning :) and having fun with it.

What do you think of the work as a model? It’s very interesting and hard at the same time and you really need to think about your position and expressions but the most important is that I’m having fun.

What is your beauty regimen? Moisturizer and sunscreen is very important, for your youth. But for your mental regimen beauty is to have a good family that supports you and you treat others with kindness respect and dignity. It will show more the beauty in you.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? The photographer says that I’m easy to work with and open for new ideas. I don’t judge people. And make them feel safe, though I don’t know how I do it :) but maybe it’s just the way I am.

What are your plans for the future? To be one of the first ones in Denmark at my age to be a foto model. In a magazine, jewelry magazine maybe an actress. I want to show the world that age, high, weight mother or not it doesn’t matter as long that you love your self and what you do.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? To have met good people/ photographers, models and to learn more about pictures, mode, makeups.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? Yes. Remember to ask other models or photographers, about if the photographer, is real photographer. Not a maniac or something.

Can you tell us a little about you? I’m Sarah, 31 years old, and I live in the countryside of Belgium in a town called Sint-Margriete. I’m passionate about fashion, photography, and self-expression through style. I love creating moments that tell a story, both behind and in front of the camera.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I’d like to be more confident and embrace every part of myself, especially when trying new things like modelling.

How did you start modelling? I started with small shoots organized by friends who are photographers. From there, I discovered how much I enjoy the creative process and being part of the artistic vision.

What do you think of the work as a model? It’s incredibly empowering. Modelling allows you to step into different roles, express yourself, and be part of a collaborative art form. I also love how it can inspire others.

What is your beauty regimen? I focus on keeping my skin healthy with a solid skincare routine, staying hydrated, and always being camera-ready with a versatile wardrobe and makeup collection.

Can You tell us a little about You? Hello. My name is Monika Tarapacka. I come from Poland. I am a Model, Painter, Photographer, Dancer and Yogi.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I wouldn't change anything about myself. I love and accept myself for who I am.

How did You start modelling? My adventure with modelling began with Your message on Facebook, which gave me a lot of energy to create my portfolio. It was 7/11/2022. What do you think of the work as a model?For me, modeling is the most beautiful work. Important work, because there is no image without a model.

What is your beauty regimen? I use green tea infusion for cleansing. For exfoliating: lemon juice, salicylic spirit, apple cider vinegar. For care: oils (preferably NUXE) and alcohol-free creams, preferably with beeswax with UV filters. However, the basis is a proper diet and good hydration of the body, as well as oxygenation. The best way to oxygenate the body is various physical activities (for me walking, yoga, stretching, dancing) at a moderate pace.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I describe myself: I am creative, precise, practical, independent, self-confident, truthful. I'm a perfectionist. I compete with myself. Others about me: charismatic, capable, talented, hypermobile.

What are your plans for the future? Advertising (Elegant fashion and sportswear, bank, car, superfood etc.) I like variety. Everything danced, with music.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far? Sessions at my school, the Academy of Photography in Krakow, and sessions in Berlin. As my own model and photographer, I don't allow myself to improvise; everything is carefully thought out and practiced before entering the studio. At school, I was allowed to photograph one figure over 3 sessions with breaks to polish my technique. In Berlin, where I was someone else's model, I was forced into controlled improvisation. The results of the session were also surprisingly positivel. Both types of work are cool.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? I think being constantly on the move. Traveling by train.

The lens of a fine art photographer transforms the body into a work of art. Every photoshoot captures the nuances of my model's delicate curves and emotional contours. This collaboration is a dance choreographed by lights and shadows. Every pose contributes to this narrative. Capturing her soul is Dusil Photography’s central goal. This is the essence of my creative style. Here are three additional qualities that define my journey:

Respect • Sometimes our boundaries are clear before a session. In other situations, we sort out any nuances before our session. Revealing one’s soul is a level of vulnerability that’s not easily given. I want her to love the experience and cherish the photos we’ve created. I respect each model’s limits, so if our styles don’t matchthat’s fine. Everything falls into place when we establish a genuine connection and mutual trust. I pride myself on being authentic, personable, and empathetic.

Courage • I love to experiment. Venturing into the unknown is always on the agenda. We learn faster that way If a new approach doesn't work we at least tried. When deciding what to do next I contemplate, “What would a great photographer do in this situation?” With confidence, we enter uncharted territory The tail end of a session usually produces the best results. By this time we’re completely comfortable with each other. I don’t want only to capture her physical beauty - it’s about opening her heart and soul.

Collaboration • I plan sessions so that our flow minimizes any set changes. Sticking to a schedule is not always necessary because a spark of inspiration can dramatically change everything. Each photo shoot is a collaborative journey. Thinking ‘outside the box’ is welcomed with open arms. This is when we get to create magic.
