• 1 quart strawberries, sliced

• 1 lemon, sliced

• 11/2 cups fresh lemon juice

• 5 cups water

• 1 cup sugar

• 8 thyme sprigs

1. Boil 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 6 thyme sprigs in medium saucepan until sugar is dissolved to create syrup. Chill in refrigerator for one hour.

2. In a pitcher add remaining water, lemon juice, sliced strawberries, and syrup. Mix well and serve over ice.

3. Garnish with lemon slices and thyme springs.
