Louisiana Festivals

CULTURE

It’s Crawfish Season!

It’s that time again in Louisiana! While we never lack for reasons to get together with family and friends, nothing takes top billing like Mardi Gras and Crawfish Season (yes, we capitalized it)! Even though Louisiana is known for year round festivities, these two typically make it ahead of the rest for “must do”. The words “parade,” “festival,” “carnival,” and

“crawfish boil” evoke feelings of fun, springtime and family. You can find an almost endless amount of festivals for Mardi Gras around the state that typically coincide with about the same amount for Crawfish. We want everyone to have fun and look for events around Louisiana near you on the next page!
