APOSTLE AJ FISHER
Man of Integrity By Keisha Conyers
Apostle Antwan J. Fisher, affectionately known as "AJ", is a Man of Integrity, Strength and Wisdom. He is the son of Frederick Williams and the Late Carolyn Fisher. As a native of Quincy Florida, he attended local area public schools and became a graduate of East Gadsden High School. He went on to pursue an education at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and Edward Waters College, and later, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Dominion Bible Institute. At an early age, God released him to start his own ministry. He accepted Christ at the age of 16, starting preaching at the age of 18, and starting pastoring at the age of 19. He is the founder and senior pastor of the Fresh Anointing International Ministries, INC. Demonstrating unwavering faith, he made the decision to devote his life and service to the ministry and Pastor full time. His unfiltered style of preaching and humorous personality pours over into his sermons as he often uses practical anecdotes to capture the attention of the congregation; “so it is fresh, and the word is real.” At an early age, he met his mentor, the late Bishop Kenny Knight. It was through this encounter and under his mentor’s tutelage that he received his formal training and call to the ministry.
In addition to serving in various capacities of leadership throughout his community, Apostle Fisher is involved in a variety of ministerial endeavors that allows him to embrace and witness to lost souls and minister to the whole individual. Regardless of challenges or limitations, he finds time to give back to the community through his outreach ministry “We See You 2 Movement” - a ministry for the homeless and less fortunate, though sharing a “Timely Release with The Apostle AJ Fisher on THE INSPIRED NETWORK”, and a “Spiritual Awakening with Apostle AJ” on the Stellar Nominated 95.3FM Doc D Radio Show. As an ambassador for his generation, he has an anointing that allows him to prophecy to those in need of healing and restoration. Even with such a unique calling to fulfill, he finds time to be the father of two beautiful daughters. His ultimate desire is to “LIVE AND MAKE AN IMPACT, DIE AND LEAVE A LEGACY”.

SPIRITUAL INTIMACY By Alvetta Green
We must know and understand, spiritual intimacy and natural intimacy are two different things. Though, in general, they both happen at a given period of time. The difference between the two is natural intimacy (two people physically or spiritually connecting with each other for a period of time) for one day or on multiple occasions for a period of time. Spiritual Intimacy is with God. To have spiritual intimacy with the Lord, you must develop a spiritual relationship with the Father in heaven. Your relationship with the Lord is a process within itself. Yes, the Lord hears and answers short or long prayers but the development of spiritual intimacy happens as you daily seek the Lord with an increased prayer time in communing and supplication with the Lord. Spiritual Intimacy starts with dreams concerning yourself and your life. As you advance and grow in your prayer time, the Lord will entrust you with things concerning other people. His voice will begin to develop to you audible and you will learn Him speaking in His silence. Finally, when you have reached the point of no return in your prayer time with the Lord, meaning: you will meet with the Lord daily in prayer and not break your communication for anything or anybody. The Lord will begin to give you revelations, show you mysteries, unknown tongues and visits to heaven, angelic visitations and to meet him face to face in His angelic form, which is how the Lord looked when He walked the earth.
"Spiritual intimacy starts with dreams concerning yourself" In my conclusion, spiritual intimacy is a dining experience. As you walk closely with the Lord in building your relationship with Him, enjoy sitting at the table and enjoy the feast of the Lord, Jesus our Father.

Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life". After being in ministry for over 20 years and the recent worldwide pandemic that we have just come out of, I have learned more than anything to humble MYSELF and to maintain a pure heart. A lot of times it is so easy to jump on the bandwagon with the most popular preacher, fad or fashion and even voice our opinion because we do have freedom of speech right? But when LIFE knocks on your front door and the skeletons in your closet come to the living room, it's quite easy to then want it to all go away before the whole world finds out about it, or we want the option to disappear ourselves. The heart is what God is concerned about more than anything. Although man looks at the outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart of man. 1 Samuel 16:7 All of us have a past and all of us have some issues that we are still dealing with. The key is that we keep our heart carefully and persistently so that our issues don't overtake us. Some times our issues can become bigger than what they are because of the attention and emphasis we place on them. I'm always reminded of the cliché: Don't tell God how big your problems are, but tell your problems how big your God is. God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20. If we supply the faith he will do the rest. No I'm not saying your problems are issues aren't real or don't exist, but I am saying TRUST GOD. Sometimes we are going through because of what others did to us, and it seems they are at home resting and at peace; and we are weary and up questioning God WHY? I want to encourage you that God is concerned about you. I suffered years of depression and low self esteem because it seemed my life was always facing a path of rejection.
From my parents divorcing when i was 5, and my mom leaving for the military when I was 8, being stood up at my high school military ball at 15 and even getting married to my high school sweetheart and experiencing my husband having an affair and separation. So when i got saved i was not only broken but i had a whole lot of issues and some were from the little girl that never dealt with them so my heart was bitter, revengeful, angry and i had a guard up that i didnt allow people or God to enter. But as i grew in the Lord and more in love with him, he taught me through my pastor- Prophetess Joyce Harris, that i couldnt have the Holy Spirit inside of me and still house bitterness and be mean and ugly. He taught me through his word that he loved me so much if no person ever did or that if everyone left me rejected that his love will never fail. As i began to meditate on Psalms 139:14 one day it came alive and became personal to me. It says, "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works' and that my soul knoweth right well". It became one of the scriptures i used to mentor and counsel the young girls who came into my path and i still use today as i teach them their worth. I often tell people I'm my daddy's favorite girl because he made me who I am. I might not be your complexion, size or choice but I am without a doubt God's choice. Find yourself again, practice self care and choose to LIVE blessed. Not just at the next women's group, conference or empowerment; but when you are all alone know that you are worth it. If your spouse or children never affirm you, be ok with affirming yourself & maintaining a pure heart. Some will say you are arrogant, or even that you are different, and that is the point change into a brand new you, just for YOU.

King
ARTICLE BY DR. GENEVA SCOTT-KING Life Fit For a King, formerly Weddings Fit For a King, has been serving the South Georgia and North Florida area since 2011. The business originally was a hobby for Dr. Geneva Scott-King. She would provide services of Home Décor,Wedding and Event Planning/ Décor for no fee for years, utilizing her own resources. It was at that time, that she began to take the business seriously her husband had previously named Weddings Fit For a King as a joke. She attended Penn Foster School of Bridal Studies to extend her business background in event planning and wedding consultation. She completed that program and became a member of American Association of Bridal Consultants. At the end of 2014, Dr. Scott-King published her first book after receiving divine revelation to be a writer. The book flourished and many women were motivated by his content and solicited help.. Meet Stephanie D. Henry Stephanie D. Henry is the Owner and Operator of Denise Cleaning and Maintenance Service LLC. "Adding Bling While We Clean" is the statement she stands to live by. Denise Cleaning was created during the time when life as we all knew was at a stand still. Quarantine became a habit for everyone around the globe, but for Stephanie this was an opportunity to get to know who she was and to tap into her purpose. Though the Pandemic (Covid-19) attacked the world like a thief in the night, Stephanie utilized this time to avoid distractions and to focus on herself and the things she had been putting on the back burner. This was the fight that was always present in her life. It was that God-given directive that she was ready to embrace. Just before the Pandemic hit, Stephanie had experienced the great loss of her grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Lee Moten. It was then that she felt the need to live, discover, and pursue a different path. She also reconnected with a lifelong friend that advised her at an early age that the road she was traveling wasn't the way to go. It was September 5, 2019 that Stephanie's journey into change began to take root. She witnessed the beautiful growth of ladies under the leadership of Dr. Nicky Collins through her life coaching program, The Ruth Project. Upon gathering the information of how to join this group, Stephanie made the commitment to enroll in the project. This was when her life shifted. Stephanie graduated from The Ruth Project Class 7 in July 2020, along with several other young ladies. God was working from the inside out, and through divine connections within the graduating class, she was motivated and encouraged by her peers to become the business owner that Good had preordained her to become. In the midst of a Pandemic (Covid-19) Denise Cleaning was created. The challenges of a single mother working to make ends meet and home schooling her children, she moved forward and never looked back. God's creation was now creating a means of employment for her children. Stephanie was able to employ her daughter, as well as other individuals. Her desire to build a business that would provide income to others and help build their careers was finally coming into fruition. Even through the emotional roller coaster that life threw at Stephanie was sometimes devastating, she remained encouraged, optimistic, positive, and determined. Stephanie is the second oldest of her mother's four children. She is the mother of 18 year old Khalia Anderson who is now a Certified Correctional Officer and soon to be graduate from

find encouragement, inspiration and more. I started my small business in 2020, called MAR Stitch Custom Designs. MAR stands for Mary Alice Roberts, who is my late grandmother. She was a seamstress and always encouraged me to learn how to sew. I make and design masks, children’s outfits, t-shirts and more. One of the biggest challenges I have faced since becoming a business owner is learning my limitations. I have a hard time saying no, but I have learned that in order to produce quality products, I must give myself a sufficient amount of time to complete orders. To help me with this challenge, I created a schedule for myself and I inform my customers when I am booked. I would not be where I am today if it was not for God. My path was specifically orchestrated for me, I wouldn’t change a thing. Every mistake, every set back, every disappoint, every high and every low makes me who I am today the Godfearing, crazy faith believing woman of God.

Single Moms In The Market Place by Kinshawda Daniels
In today's world single parenting has become a societal norm. Although there are many men and women in this situation we've seen a slight shift in dynamics. Let's face it the Covid-19 pandemic has taught the importance owning a business or side hustle. We now see on the rise women entrepreneurs answering the call of business ownership. That's right women are leveling up the playing field with their counterparts. In years past women were expected to handle in-home duties with little time for anything else.
As a single mom myself I learned that business and motherhood goes hand in hand. If you look closely at the many roles we fulfill daily it's like we were made for the marketplace. Not only can we wear many hats, we somehow learn to juggle it all. To all my fellow single moms out there I want to say a few encouraging words. When I started my journey it was hard I can't lie but I used my children as fuel to keep me going. We may do business now but what will pay off later is our legacy left behind.

Healing…grab a mirror and take a look at you! Take the blinders off and be totally honest about everything concerning you. The rot gut truth. Take the focus off them and they. Write down every hurt. Every painful experience rather it was self-inflicted or you were the victim of someone else’s pain. Take each one and begin to talk to God about it. Don’t try to conquer them all at once. You’re not ready for that yet. Take it day by day. One step at a time. One foot in front of the other and if you fall just get up and keep trying. The step that makes you fall is the one that you have to focus more on. Remember, this is a process. God is there with arms wide open. Patience is waiting on you! Joy and peace will begin to fill your life more and more each day. Keep in mind that God can’t fill a space that’s already occupied. He can only fill a void. So, as you release be ready to receive. DO your work.

Chasing… Jacquelyn Cain
Photos by: Mizell Williams Jr Photography I WROTE THE WORDS
I wrote the words. God gave the vision, thoughts and strategies. My life is an open book of ministry, Inspiration and devotion to those who are broken, busted and disgusted. I could write about many broken areas in my life from being beaten, torn up and spit on to being spit out.
GOD GAVE THE VISION
The day that I decided to stop Chasing the broken pieces that came together to work against everything God had created me to be is the day the game changed in my life. The mountains that were on top of me began to slowly lift as I began the process of healing . The same energy I put towards smiling through the brokenness is the same energy I shifted to use towards my healing.

reflection of his heart. I am praying for you!
BIRTH OUT OF THE FIRE By Dr. Evangelist Tamike Brown Photos by As a young teenager and throughout my adult years I went through many different challenges in my life. I didn’t understand all the things I was going through or even the reason why at the time. I was brought up in the church as a little girl but had no relationship with God. As a result my life was in a spiral and took many turns that wasn’t for my good. I went from being disappointed, sad, unhappy, crying all the time, divorces, physical abuse, abortion, misunderstood, misjudged, falsely accused, in jail, bankrupt, fear, low self-esteem, families and friend’s betrayal, homeless, and the list goes on and on. I was living a life on the run. Running to get away from everybody and everything that was troubling me. I was this quiet and shy person but so troubled and torn on the inside. Many times I felt like I was all alone with no one to talk to so I wanted to vanish where no one could ever find me.
At the age of seventeen, not only did I hear God’s Voice but He appeared to me in my bedroom and He was calling me to Himself. I wasn’t a bible person but yet within I knew it was God calling me. I didn’t understand why He was calling me. I wasn’t taught that God had a plan and purpose for my life and that one day He would “birth” me out of Himself.
"I was living a life on the run." ~ Dr. Evangelist Tamike Brown So, when He called and appeared to me I rejected the calling. I still wanted to do my thing. I wanted to have fun. I wanted to fit in. I wanted everyone to like me. I wanted to be accepted by people who I thought loved me including, spouse, families, and friends. I wanted to go to the club because I thought that was the good life.
I went through all those different things and much more in my life and yet God was still calling me to Himself. And because I refused the Call of God for my life He allowed me to go through the “burning” fire. The fire that will purify, refine, and cleanse. I thought my answers was in other people. I never gave thought that my answers were found in God once I submit to His Plan and Purpose for my life. My joy, happiness, peace, love, and so forth was in God. God was constantly calling me but I kept running even running for my life. My mother never knew when and what time of the day or night I would show up at her front door.
PAGE 19
MOGUL LEADERS SUMMER EDITION
Even through my running I would still hear that small still voice and yet I still refused. It was like His visitation to me at a young age stayed to the forefront of my mind as I can still see it so clearly today, but yet I was still running. Although I said yes Lord but l didn’t surrender completely to the Lord like I should have because when trouble would arise running is the only thing I knew to do. I didn’t like trouble at all and neither wanted to be around anyone that was a trouble maker. Therefore, I would run. And then one day after heart break, after heart break, after heart break I thought if I started drinking alcohol that my problems would go away. I went and bought this big glass jug of liquor call Gin. Not knowing what I was doing because I was never a person that smoke or drank alcohol of any kind. So I took one sip and as I begin to take the second sip the Lord stopped me in my trap. He said enough is enough. When are you going to stop running from me? At that moment I cried out with a loud cry to God like never before. I threw the whole jug across a concrete area far as I could in broad
daylight, and the glass breaking got the people attention, but not one soul asked any questions the reason for the breaking. I was under God’s protective covering as He was breaking me. At that point my life changed forever. I said I surrender all again. I gave God a for real complete Yes.
"I’m going to Birth you out of the Fire because I Am the Fire." ~ Dr. Evangelist Tamike Brown
Uh oh! Here we go. That complete Yes comes with training. God said now that I finally got your attention I now got to “build” you up in Me for the Call so I can Birth You out of Me. I’m going to Birth you out of the Fire because I Am the Fire. I’m going to birth you out of Myself so I can Birth Myself through you so you can be on Fire for me because I called you to the Nations. To be continued. Detail book coming soon.

Yolanda Adams wrote a song, “This too shall pass and I listened to it so I can hear what God wanted me to learn from the song. A verse that resonated in my spirit simply said, “In the middle of the turbulence surrounding you, these trying times can be hard to endure….Hold fast your heart and be rest assured…and with his strength we shall overcome. We must always remember that when God to bless us, we go through the storm, it passes and it goes back into the sea. God sees your heart, he sees your pain and he sees your anointing all the more. If we want God to bless us in our finances we must pray for overflow…We must tithe faithfully and believe by Faith that God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we every asked or hoped. It truly is Manifestation Time. Why? Because God said that He is our source on a daily basis. The other important thing that I need to impart is this- Seek God’s chastening when you have failed to honor him. Rejoice in your sufferings, because suffering produces perseverance, character and hope. And hope does not disappoint us. Romans 5: 3-5. I would like to share a personal victory with you that I pray will bless you immensely. I lost my corporate job in 2014 after being diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer. I begin to walk in Fear because the enemy was telling me I was going to die. I lost all income and was living on the grace of God for two years. I could not understand what He was doing but I had to believe that He was going to turn things around for me. I waited and I waited and didn’t see anything moving on my behalf and then the “Suddenly happened”.

I was dealing with an internal battle that I knew I had to win. God kept saying to me, this too shall pass…can you see it? The enemy has no power over our finances people of God. Our master will sustain us and deliver us from all snares. If you want God to truly move in your business, your ministry, your personal life, you must set boundaries over your life. It is time to move from guarding your potential to protecting it. It is manifestation time. Paul admonished the Ephesians to stand their ground and, after doing everything else, still to stand. We must stand firm in the midst of every attack. God wants us all to Win. God desires us to be his generals for the world. Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Paul- all persevered through numerous battles to emerge victorious. They were blessed to see the manifestation of God’s glory in what He called them to do. At times they faltered and even failed but they always returned to the battle. There are some of you reading this article that need a business or a strategy for your finances. You have not managed your money well for whatever reason. You are not alone, been there done that.

INTIMACY WITH GOD: THE KEY TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND GODLY IMPACT by
Suur Debrah Ayangeakaa, PhD Do you ever wonder how you can grow spiritually and impact your world? I strongly believe that one’s ability to grow spiritually and have a significant impact in the world is closely tied to one’ intimacy (closeness in personal relationship) with God. The strength of this type of relationship is measured in the quality of time spent together. Dwelling in the secret place (a special place to meet alone with God in private prayer) helps you build this relationship to where you not only speak to God, but you also learn to listen to and recognize his voice. This is how I came to realize my true identity as well as my calling and purpose in life. Unfortunately, in the world in which we now live, many people struggle with identity and much more so with knowing or understanding their calling (who they were created to be) and purpose (what they were created to accomplish) in life.
This problem accentuates the importance of having a high quality relationship with God, which helps one figure out what direction they ought to take in life. When you can clearly hear the voice of God, you can receive direct instructions and wisdom regarding how to function effectively in any area of your life. As I began spending more dedicated quality time with God (in the secret place), God began to show me who he created me to be and what he created me to accomplish. My time with God significantly shaped my worldview by aligning my desires with God’s plan for my life and spurring me to use my gifts and talents (those things that come naturally to me) to improve the lives of others. My intimate relationship with God allowed me to take on the nature of my heavenly Father, and thus experience tremendous growth spiritually.

It also improved my physical boldness, propelling me into my purpose. As a result of my intimacy with God, I was equipped to birth my prayer and healing ministry; my health and wellness business; create products and services to holistically help individuals and communities improve spiritually, cognitively, and behaviorally; and to incorporate my non-profit whose mission is to equip women, orphans, children and families overcome poverty, domestic and other types of violence and sexual abuse. Additionally, I due to my ability to hear God clearly, I was able to receive specific instructions to write and publish my very first book in the middle of a pandemic, on April 30th, 2021 and titled “The Power of the Secret Place: Prayer Devotional & Journal.” The purpose of this book was to teach people to grow their spiritual lives by cultivating an intimate relationship with God through spending quality time with God in private prayer. I urge you, my audience, to cultivate an intimate relationship with God and watch your growth and impact escalate. www.mogulleadersmagazine.com | 25

The MRI report came back the next day and I was given a Transverse Myelitis (TM) diagnosis.Transverse myelitis is an inflammation of both sides of one section of the spinal cord. This neurological disorder often damages the insulating material covering nerve cell fibers (myelin).Transverse myelitis interrupts the messages that the spinal cord nerves send throughout the body. This can cause pain, muscle weakness, paralysis, sensory problems, or bladder and bowel dysfunction .I was put on high course steroids. After some time, I felt as though a current was passing through my veins. I was able to move my hands and legs. I was having to catheterize myself. After a couple of weeks, I was released from the hospital. I had been begging the doctor to allow me to go home.

YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS
One evening in 2003, I was watching a football match on TV while lying on my bed. Suddenly, I felt severe pain in my shoulder and throughout my back, and the pain was rapidly intensifying with every second. I rubbed a balm in the affected area, but it did nothing to relieve the pain. The pain was like a burning sensation and was severe. I was unable to sit and eventually I had to lie on the bed. I skipped eating my dinner. By around 11 PM, I was feeling very strange. First I lost sensation in my hand and then I lost sensation in my legs. Then I was unable to grasp with my hands and I could no longer stand. I was not able to urinate. I did not have any strength and I did not sleep the entire night. I thought I was going to die.
26
In the morning, our family physician came to our home. He asked me whether I had been hit or experienced some kind of accident. I told him that I hadn’t. I told him that I could not pass urine. He had no idea what was happening to me and advised that I be admitted to the hospital.
It was Sunday and it was my good fortune that a neurosurgeon was in the hospital. Most doctors do not stay in the hospital on Sundays. He ordered an MRI. It was very kind of him to call a diagnostic center and he persuaded them to perform the MRI. Diagnostics centers are closed on Sundays. I was admitted to the ICCU ward. I was awake the entire night trying to understand what was happening to me. Was I going to die? I had to ask the nurse for a glass of water. I was totally helpless; I had to depend on someone for a glass of water.
I become very weak. The neurologist prescribed me steroids and, unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction. I had eruptions over my entire face and I looked horrible. I went to a skin specialist who explained that the problem was caused by the steroids. He told me that he wanted a photograph of my face because my allergic reaction was so unusual. My face cleared up over a period of about four months, but I still have some scars from the reaction.

Abhijit Ganguly,Socialpreneur and CEO of UP WORDS Magazine & Transverse Myelitis survivor Meanwhile I was working in a business magazine. But I always had a passion for Arts/culture/music/social issues. I wasn’t encouraged to write on these topics. My articles were dropped. They thought me being a Masters in Economics was not doing justice to myself by not writing on business issues. I was also very much disappointed to see how the mainstream media worked. How news were being fabricated for vested interests. Finally I took a call and started my own online magazine. Its called UP WORDS. “UP WORDS” is a magazine dedicated to the inspiring journeys of people from all walks of life living in all areas of the world. Each story in the magazine focuses on people who, often against great odds, inspire hope in others through their story or journey. Our world is filled with so much negativity and violence. And because of that individuals from all walks of life tend to forget that what gets us through the dark days are stories of hope. “UP WORDS" stories of hope are those that say to the reader, “look what he or she has done; I too can do that.” “UP WORDS” also intends to differentiate itself from others by researching and telling the inspirational stories of the ordinary individual. The ordinary individuals' stories tend to be neglected; yet they comprise the majority of the population across the globe. “UP WORDS” seeks to spotlight them, for they are the ones who will light the flames of tomorrow's generation.

I became very depressed; I had so little understanding about TM. What did I do wrong that G-d gave me this disease? It was particularly frustrating for me as the doctors did not clearly explain to me what had happened; what was TM? My friends and relatives each shared their own theories of what had happened. Some said that it was a result of having excessive fast food; some said it was from germs in my body; and someone asked me if I had used drugs! I stopped talking to people. The days in the hospital haunted me. My life was becoming miserable and I was afraid of the recurrence of TM. Then one day I found the SRNA (formerly the Transverse Myelitis association). It was of great help.. The website was an eye opener for me. I was so surprised to see that there were so many people around the world with TM. It has been around many years since I got TM. I have come a long way. I have completed my Masters in Economics. I have occasional nerve pain. I have very difficult bowel problems and I have limpness in my right leg. I have become a pessimistic person, but I try to inspire myself when I think about the lives of various people with TM who have been more seriously affected than me.
I started TM Support Group in India, where we can offer each other emotional support and we can share information. Our support group is for people who have TM, ADEM, NMO and ON, their family members, and, hopefully, physicians in India who treat people with these disorders. Meanwhile I was working
Delayed But Not Denied “Broken, Pressed, Restored, and Blessed” By Kristi Barber
Born into a single parent home I have witnessed several hardships! Becoming a teenage mother I continued to live a life full of struggles and was faced with many adversities. I felt so broken but understanding my beginning didn’t determine my ending. I made the choice to become a wife at age 18 and attend college as an untraditional student. Becoming a wife, a mother, and a college student all in one year was so overwhelming. I, like many women, wanted to be the perfect wife and mother but I was still a child myself that needed guidance. Here I was expected to cook, grocery shop, plan vacations, pay bills and I didn’t even know how to balance my college schedule let alone a household. My friends were all going off to college to live and follow their dreams while I was left here to be somebody’s wife and mother! I was so depressed and wanted so much more out of life. My husband at the time worked 16-18 hours so I functioned as a single parent. I prayed a lot and cried more! I made so many promises to my young daughter that I would be somebody she could be proud of one day. I found myself becoming so involved in being a great mother and wife that I lost me in the process. This made me even more depressed. I would go out in public and people would always say oh you and your daughter look so pretty and always seem so happy''. The truth was I was broken but being raised by a single mother with a heart of a lioness I was taught to always put the best on the outside. After 8 years of marriage things suddenly seem to crumble after infidelity, and an outside baby so I decided to press my way and file for divorce.
About 5 years had past and I continued to attend college, and had obtained a licensed practical nurse certification and was making preparations to attend RN school. I was so proud of my journey. Thus far my daughter and I were living comfortably with her dad and I was co-parenting and I was becoming a shero for my daughter. I remember attending Darton College after being accepted into the ADN program and telling my instructor excuse me “I didn't hear my name, after carefully rechecking the roster she looked at me and said your name is not on the roll. Have you ever felt like you have been pushed in a whole and had the dirt poured on top of you well if so that’s the exact feeling I was experiencing. I had completed every requirement above a 3.5 GPA and passed the required entrance exam with flying colors, but there was one thing I didn’t have any finances to pay for my school. As I drove home from Albany, Ga I began to cry out to God begging pleading as to why, had I not suffered enough then I began blaming God for all my failures, failed marriage, limited money, and now this!! As I continued to cry something inside of me shook me and said tomorrow and everyday afterwards you go back and sit in that class this is your time. See while I was doubting God he was making provisions and carrying me because I was to weak to walk and to stupid to pray!! God placed people in my life, one in particular who

paid for my entire RN program, another lady provided me with used books to study from and a host of close family and friends who prayed and interceded on my behalf .December 2010 I graduated with my Associates degree in Nursing. After achieving my ADN (Associate Degree Nursing) I began to trust GOD like never before, I asked God so many times to give me the strength of Job not knowing this level of strength came with more challenges. I got remarried and just thanked God for sending me my soulmate. Little did I know the marriage only lasted less than 6 years. During this marriage I learned the virtue of patience and the power of prayer. I almost lost everything I worked so hard for, my finances were depleted, my credit ruined, and most of all I had lost Kristi. I remember attending a revival and the minister preached a sermon on “what do you do when the one you love is killing you” With tears in my eyes I cried out to God pleading and begging for him to please have mercy on me! I was a victim of LIFE SECTION
stalking, harassment in every form, and had my character questioned by many. After leaving a toxic situation I asked God to restore me. During my restoration period God blessed me to complete my Master of Nursing Degree and become a board certified nurse practitioner. Upon completing school my mother became ill and I was faced with yet another delay! I became her caretaker spending countless hours in the hospital waiting rooms, ICU, and long-term care facility where I literally moved in with her. I was juggling so many emotions, I was working less than part-time, had a child in college, and a host of bills with PAST DUE written on them! I ate ramen noodles, while my child ate a full course meal my cousin helped get my daughter back and forth to work. Close friends gave me money to take my mom to a specialist in Tallahassee, FL and money to pay for testing for boards, etc.. I took my boards and failed them the first time, I cried, felt defeated, called my college preceptor who spoke some powerful words into my life, that was not enough I called my closest
friends, sister and mother. I just felt no real gratification. All I could see was failure!!! I went home that evening talked to my daughter, and begin to pray GOD told me in 30 days retest, I thought why what’s the use, God begin to show me every situation I had been through in my life was not on accident but all apart of his plan to develop my character he was positioning me to be a leader by experience and faith. I passed my boards and God blessed me with a job and within 2 years I was making six figures. Today I can tell so many women are delayed does not mean denied! I went through so many obstacles to reach the status of Kristi Childs Advanced Practice Provider, owner of Sassy Feet Shoetique and Miller Medical Private Homecare Services LLC. I am currently working on my doctorate and MBA while cowriting a business plan for a third business. My blessings were never denied, they were delayed so I could become the woman God needed me to be. God for everything I give thanks. My goal is to help as many young women as I can become successful! www.mogulleadersmagazine.com | 29

MY JOURNEY AND NAVIGATION THROUGH BREAST CANCER The impact of the words you never want to hear; “you have cancer.” Nothing can prepare you for it. It all started on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, when I experienced something very unusual from my right breast. It sounded like it was gurgling—you know, the sound a water cooler makes. Anyway, I dismissed it because as we all know breast do not make noise. The noise continued off and on throughout the day and I chucked it off as a breakdown in my underwire bra. However, at bedtime when I removed my bra—intact—the noise persisted. I decided that maybe I would follow through with a doctor on the next day. Well, the next day (Wednesday, July 3, 2013) I woke up thinking how absurd it was and I’d just let it go. However, at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon I found myself standing in my Gynecologist’s office. I relayed my situation to the receptionist and yeah, I got “the look.” I was persistent and she relayed it to the doctor. Thank God the doctor agreed to see me then and there. A side note: my doctor had a medical appointment herself and her seeing me would cause her to be royally late for her appointment. She delayed her appointment to see me. My Gynecologist, discussed at length the “noise” my breast was making. Although highly unlikely and unheard of, she examined me thoroughly.
She did not find a lump or anything else out of the ordinary. Even with the outcome of the examination indicating all was well, she took me very seriously and ordered up an immediate Diagnostic Mammogram would allow me to get the diagnosis during the visit; I would leave the procedure actually knowing the results—I would not have to wait for days to know the outcome. Knowing that in itself eliminated major stress for me— warranted or unwarranted. The mammogram was scheduled for the following Friday, July 5th. I was so thankful for her care and concern that I hugged her.
On Friday, July 5th the Diagnostic Mammogram was performed. While waiting for the results a nurse—not the technician that had conducted the mammogram— directed me to a private room and told me that a doctor would be in shortly to discuss the results. That gave me pause but I immediately dismissed it because, after all, it was a “diagnostic” mammogram so I took it as normal procedure. A few minutes later the nurse and doctor came in and to discuss the diagnosis. The doctor delivered the news: “we have found a spot/cyst on your right breast and it appears to be cancerous.” MOGUL LEADERS SUMMER EDITION | 34
They showed me that mammogram and the spot in my breast and explained that it was the beginning of stage 1 breast cancer. Wow, I was totally blown away. My mind instantly went into overdrive and of course I did not hear anything else. Although I am a staunch Christian this news shook me to the core. I was quite unsettled. My mind kept repeating “you have breast cancer.” A couple days later I had a follow-up visit with my Gynecologist to discuss the results of the mammogram. I thanked her profusely for taking me seriously although my method of detection sounded asinine and completely unheard of. We discussed my mammogram results at length. She was very professional and at the same time compassionate. She provided referrals and recommended a surgeon who specialized in breast cancer. At this point I had settled down. The shock had worn off as I had invoked my power—the Holy Spirit. I was now able to think more clearly and rationally. I was confident that “God got this.” I had moved to a place of peace. I had recalled the exact words God had dropped in my spirit six months after my miraculous recovery from my aneurysm—“I know the plans I have for you.” Those words comforted me stuck with me so I knew God had me. And one day during my personal bible study I was directed to Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” That was my confirmation
and my faith gave me the strength to know that God’s will was being done in my life. I felt that although I was the one with the cancer, This situation would be used to benefit others as well as myself and to bring Him glory. Now, how do I tell my family? I knew I had to proceed with much caution as I had to relay such news to my 89 year-young mother and three adult children who had almost lost me to an aneurysm ten years prior. Although I eased into it, I decided direct and straight up would be my way. Reactions were different but I assured them that “God’s got this.” I truly knew deep within my heart that all would be well. Why? Because of the way I discovered the problem—a noisy breast! I looked at it as God’s way of drawing it to my attention in such a unique way that I would know that the outcome would be no less unique. I reminded them that the same God that had favored me and given me a miracle when I had my aneurysm and I was not expected to live and not likely to survive the night, is the same God that was watching over me now. My daughter, the eldest of my three children, was very concerned. She was reverting back to her memories of my aneurysm. I reminded her that I knew without a shadow of a doubt that “God’s got this.” And I shared with her that I had also received confirmation and security when a very close friend who was deceased came to me in a dream and told me that “I came (back) to take care of you during your breast cancer.” The next week, I met with the Surgeon. She was very thorough in our review and discussion of the mammogram. She relayed my options, lumpectomy or mastectomy, with no recommendation one way or the other—the decision completely rested with me. You may wonder why she took this approach.
As she relayed to me… because I had caught the cancer in such an early stage, I was able to choose my option. She was open an honest about the lump, the treatment options, etc. She had a biopsy performed also to provide more insight and details prior to surgery and to ensure I still had the same options. She suggested that I digest the information and my options and I make my decision. She provided me with a lot of literature, pamphlets and books on breast cancer from understanding it to living with it. Meanwhile, she gave me a telephone number to contact her directly if I had questions or concerns,
"My mind kept repeating you have breast cancer." On Wednesday July 17th I met with the Surgeon again. I bombarded her with questions and concerns and asked her to respond in layman’s terms. She responded with great patience and went the extra mile and made numerous drawings to ensure that I truly understood. I relayed my challenge with my breast forming a keloid (irregular fibrous tissue formed at the site of scars or injuries). She reminded me that as part of the surgery and medical procedures covered, I could have breast reconstruction, breast lifts, etc. And I had up to a year to do it. It did not have to be during the initial surgery. I made my decision; I chose a lumpectomy. I was then provided a surgical package with prescriptions for lab, pre-registration, etc. Monday, July 22nd, my day of surgery —my lumpectomy—I was surrounded by my immediate family and friends. As they medical staff was prepping me, we had a bit of a scare. They were performing the pre-opt procedure of placing a six inch wire
through my breast to the site of the cyst —normal procedure—to provide the Surgeon the direct location of the cyst, I blanked out from the anesthetic. I woke up surrounded by my Surgeon and several doctors and nurses. My Surgeon wanted to cancel surgery as they thought that I had had a seizure. I assured them that it was not a seizure but rather the effects of the anesthetic on an empty stomach. They were not convinced since I had received the same anesthetic when they performed the biopsy. I explained the difference was the effect on an empty stomach. I convinced them to administer it again and this time I openly prayed to GOD to help me through this and not pass out again. The attendants were in awe of my outward prayer to God as I prayed until the procedure was completed. I was hoping this outward display would minister to someone in the room. You never know. I had my surgery and the Surgeon said that I had come through with flying colors. They had removed the cancerous cyst and some surrounding tissue. Additionally, the cancer was NOT found in my lymph nodes. Hallelujah! Nevertheless, she recommended radiation. My family and I rejoiced at the outcome and continue to do so. Did you note the timeline of all of this? It all happened in less than a month’s time from the time of my symptom to surgery. Being proactive and persistent is essential in the journey. Now, onward to radiation. I met with the Radiologist and his staff. He and my Surgeon recommended that I have 33 radiation sessions. He discussed it with me in great detail, gave me lots of helpful literature on radiation—how it works, what to expect, etc. The process wasn’t so simple. A lot of prep work had to be done prior to treatment. They made a body mold cask made to precision of my body so they could confine the radiation treatment to a small proximity. They had to give me 4 tattoos to mark the exact spot so the mold would be placed with precision each time i received treatment.
LIFE SECTION
Additionally, a lot of pertinent personal information was gathered to determine the strength and time of radiation to be administered each session. Now the scheduling of the treatments. Radiation treatments every day, Monday through Friday, until all 33 treatments had been administered.
"I convinced them to administer it again and this time I openly prayed to GOD to help me through this and not pass out again." My family rallied around me to map out a schedule for them to get back and forth. Although I insisted that I could muster it solo, they were not having it. I lost that one. My daughter started out with the first leg. But after witnessing me after the procedure decided that she would let me test the waters solo while making me promise to engage support if things changed.

/ MOGUL LEADERS MAGAZINE/
I did not get sick from radiation but I got extremely fatigued. Driving home after treatment was overwhelming. I did not want to call on assistant—although it was readily available—so I decided that I would try resting in the waiting room for 30 minutes after treatment and see if it would make a difference. It did indeed help tremendously. And if I was still too fatigued to drive home, it was not a big issue. My mother lived nearby (four miles) so I would go to her house to rest and rejuvenate prior to returning home. Problem solved.
As I witnessed other patients coming and going for treatment and some of their degree of sickness from chemo, I used it as an opportunity to comfort and prayer over them. As I prayed, hugged and lauded over them, I felt that God was using me in my cancer to help others. I inquired of the techs and staff to ensure that I was not annoying the patients and they all agreed that I was bringing them much needed good.
"I felt that God was using me in my cancer to help others." I experienced the common and immediate side effects of radiation such as fatigue, black breast, the burning sensation, etc. I also experienced rare side effects—1) an ulcerated mouth (I do not recall the medical term); and 2) a skin infection. The ulcerated mouth was severe and something my Radiologist had never before witnessed in his practice. However, during my last week of treatment he relayed that he had his second patient with the issue and because I had been so persistent that it was indeed a side effect—although very rare—and he knew how to treat her. The skin infection came on very suddenly, overnight.
I experienced extreme pain, burning and irritation that sent me straight to the doctor. The infection was limited to the radiation site but was very severe. The prescribed medication gave me release and eventually cleared it up. This particular side effect happened months later after my treatment was completed. Even in experiencing these unique side effects. I consider myself blessed, realizing it could have been so much worse. With radiation treatments over, I got my chance to ring the bell to indicate completion. I thanked God for the opportunity to witness and comfort others going through struggles with their treatment. Next road, Hematology Oncology.
When my cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years later, I was able to share, encourage and support her. It makes the information sharing so much more real when you are getting support from someone who has actually experienced it and walked in those same shoes. She understood that I knew firsthand what she was going through and the challenges and emotions she was encountering.
I met so many people along this journey and each has touched and enhanced my life in various ways. One particular acquaintance became a fast friend and has been a great cheerleader. She used her business as a vehicle to raise awareness and provide financial support for breast cancer by My Hematologist Oncologist placed sponsoring Pink Carpet Fashion Shows. The astronomical costs of everything, especially the surgery and radiation treatments changed my financial posture. "I took the runway as a cancer survivor"
Although I started this journey as a survivor, I am now a victor. I moved from not just being a survivor but I progress to thriving. But then I became a victor. God gave me the victory to move from being diagnosed with breast cancer, to surviving breast cancer, to thriving after breast cancer, and now walking in victory as I have been healed from breast cancer. I GIVE ALL GLORY TO GOD for the journey! I thank Him for my family, Church family, friends, and acquaintances. And special thanks for the doctors, surgeons, technicians, support staff, etc., that He placed in my path. And I would be remiss if I did not thank Him for introducing new people into my life. Each encounter held purpose and meaning. God and love were the compasses that navigated me through this journey. His Hand was upon me and carried me from the beginning to the end and He continues to favor me!

“WHEN SAYING I DO TURNS TO SAYING I DON’T”
ARTICLE BY PASTOR SHARNICE PERRYMAN Marriage is known to be an institution where two people are obligated to one another. Biblically marriage should be the reflection of Christ and his Bride being in love with each other. A beautiful, loving, thriving marriage will always bring glory to God. This is exactly why Kingdom marriages are worth fighting for and deserves to be defended and not so easily given up on. The true meaning of marriage, also known as a covenant, that can only be truly understood, embodied and sustained only by having the Holy Ghost. "I, take you, to be my wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish always." To divorce is legally dissolve one's marriage. Getting a divorce means the marriage is officially over. Let’s be clear that biblically the bible clearly states that God hates divorce because it goes against His idea of marriage and what it stands for. However, because of our humanness and the fact we are sinful in nature He graciously tolerates divorce. "I, take you, to be my wife/husband, to have and to hold” Nobody gets married with divorce in mind. When you stand before God, family and friends and say that you are taking someone to be your wife or husband, you are making a commitment to be that person’s husband or wife until one of you dies. Not until one of you gets tired or you feel as if your needs are not being met. It should not be entered into lightly or without much prayer and counseling. Whether people want to admit it or not marriage is more than just a piece of paper. When we
make a vow to another person for the sake of uniting our lives and ultimately become one flesh, it changes things on a supernatural level and the dynamics of our lives are changed in an unexplainable way. This doesn’t change without repercussions because we are tired of being married and feel as though we can be made happier elsewhere. God holds us accountable to our words. Divorce cause’s us as women to question our own self- worth and value. We question if we are even worthy of a good man, a happy home and a lasting marriage. We start to lose hope in love and finding a loving person. It’s in those moments I would have to rebuke the devil and reassure myself that I was worthy of real happiness and not to place my trust in a man to bring me that happiness. We are taught that we can trust our husbands to have us and to hold us. Having us and holding us not only means physically but also emotionally, spiritually and financially. Sexually and intimately as well. It is making a promise that unconditionally and without reservation to accept and love us just as we are. After each divorce, I had to pick up the broken pieces and reconstruct my life as a single mother all over again. The worst thing about divorce is the scars it leaves on the children. causing them to lose MOGUL LEADERS MAGAZINE SUMMER EDITION/ 39
hope on the possibilities of having a whole complete family. They question our judgment and choices as a parent. We are forever having to shake the reputation and stigma that is attached to being a divorcee that was built through having failed marriages. When someone professes an undying love for you and God, and just walk away and never look back, it produces an unexplainable pain and heart ache. Before divorcing, I believed that a person would love you enough to want to stay in a situation and fight and do whatever it takes to keep you. I was wrong. I also believed that a person who loved God and wanted to please Him wouldn’t walk away so easily from the promise and purpose of God. Again, I was wrong. Commitment is a mindset, an attitude and a way of thinking that should enable you to keep your vows and help you to navigate through the better and worst. When a person of faith claims “Irreconcilable differences,” it goes against God and the fact that he has called us and given us the grace and not to mention the Holy Ghost to reconcile any differences that will come up within the marriage. Being selfcentered, and full of pride, ego,
unforgiveness and holding on to spiritual and emotional baggage that we bring from our past, makes this impossible. We all come with some baggage, but the key is to find someone who is willing to help you unpack those things and resolve them once and for all through love, patience and understanding. The bible tells us to have longsuffering, meaning to suffer long and have the endurance and fortitude to weather the storms of marriage. God gives us the wisdom to navigate through these storms with grace if we pray for it. Marriage is not for the weak, the faint or the cowardly. To love and cherish always (in bold) Cherishing the one you married means that you are holding them dear and being absolutely faithful to the covenant/marriage. This is not only to be done physically, but also emotionally. We should feel as if we are the center of our spouse’s world, and to be seen as the most desirable thing in their world. My husband had already checked out emotionally so this was impossible for him to do. He had redirected his affections and emotions. Within a covenant we are to love and cherish. And with that covenant comes expectations. And with expectations that aren’t met comes disappointment and heartbreak. We make a sincere promise before God, family, and friends that we will love, honor, and cherish one another until death do us part.
THE SWIMMER'S DILEMMA ARTICLE BY ALYSSA PINE These words hold a lot of weight, when they aren’t kept there is pain associated with the broken promise. Til Death Do Us Part(in bold) When it comes to the commitment of marriage, it’s about a person having integrity and honoring their word and them refusing to allow anything to come in between them and the person that they vowed to love, honor and cherish for a lifetime. Marriage is built on love, trust and communication. When any of those things are compromised then so will the marriage be. So how do you come back after the Vow Breaks? After he or she have broken their promise “to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, forsaking all others, ‘til death us do part”. Abandonment comes with a divorce. Marital abandonment can create not only financial stress but emotional distress? Between the physical, emotional, legal, and financial consequence of marital abandonment, the difficulties quickly became overwhelming.

Depression tried to overtake me. I had to act quickly. I was at the crossroads where life changing decisions are made. I could have chosen to be bitter but instead I chose to be better. worship while in my state of brokenness that I was able to pick myself up out of despair. My healing started with a choice. I decided to trust God through the whole process.. The grace of God helped me navigate through the pain and to stop relying on other people to bring me happiness. I focused on higher aspirations outside of being married. Such as getting a job that paid enough to sustain me and my son, getting a higher education by earning my bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership. I became a published author two times over. Currently, I am the Senior Pastor of the church he had closed. We are now two years old. These were not only healthy productive distractions but me also a way for me to start reclaiming those parts of myself I had set aside to support and push my husband’s dreams and aspirations. Me being divorced had no effect on my calling and anointing that was placed on my life far before I was even married. Me surviving only put more value on my oil. Remember it’s never what we think it is but always what God says it is. God’s promises over our lives remains the same and His love never fails. Just remember that everyone is not equipped to go into your final chapter. They don’t have the capacity to love you, hold you, to honor you or to cherish you. For many reasons, people will walk away from the promise only to forfeit their purpose. However, we are not to allow those things to deter us from our Destiny’s.
RELATIONSHIP WRITTEN BY APOSTLE GIDEON DESMOND Relationship is a connection that brings two or more people together. They are level character of relationship 1, LOVE: love in relationship is needed and not lust. Many going into relationship without love and at last they get hurt by the friend. Love is the foundation of a true successful relationship if applied then success all the way. 2, AFFECTION: Affection is another key to unlock a successful relationship. Affection is a strong deep feelings for somebody or something. Going into relationship with someone without the person having affection leads to break down in life and destiny, yes because your relationship has a long role to play in your destiny and that's why totally prayers to God for a right person is highly needed.
Don't be in a relationship with someone who does not have strong positive feelings for you else. Money cannot buy feelings therefore don't place money ahead of affection. It hurt a lot to see people go through pains or because their feelings or emotion was taken for granted. Affection comes from the heart and not the flesh, the flesh can lie most at times but the heart does not lie therefore don't move or go by what you see but by what flows from the inside (heart) it will give you peace of mind. Anyone that does not have positive feelings for you, will always take you and your opinion for granted and also pays attention to other's then you. Affection cannot stay a day without hearing from the second person, it goes for it on daily basis, trying to be kind and lovely.

4, PEACE: There are people in relationship that does not have peace of mind and such thing leads to pains, tears and regret. What God want for you is peace of mind therefore anything that does not give you peace of mind is not meant for you, LET IT GO. When peace is in a relationship, understanding will be fully involved, oh yes the both person will live without fight and argument and shouting. With peace a successful relationship is sure because with it you will not only enjoy your relationship but also live long. You need peace of mind to achieve your goals and dreams together. 5, COMMUNICATION: Communication is another powerful tool to use to keep going and growing stronger in relationship. If someone love an individual, the person can't stay a day without calling or texting on phone to check on the friend. With communication, the heart is at peace. Everything is not sex, yes because sex cannot keep relationship oh yes because anyone can have it anywhere if the person is not BORN AGAIN, which is not good but communication speaks a lot to the soul, even the soul can't stop loving because communication is fully involved in the relationship. Communication freshing up good memories, and speaks even at your absent there learn to communicate enough to keep good memories in the heart of your friend. Communication restore back to life that which is dead and makes it more beautiful and attractive, oh yes there is nothing bad or wrong to stay on phone with someone you truly love and there is nothing bad or wrong to text the person because it put smiles on his or her face. Keep the soul alive through communication and you will be very much glad that you did so. 6, DISTANCE: Distance relationship is good but somehow not good. Yes, when you're not close or call to check someone you truly love, even satan will step in and when satan steps in, you both will loose focus and misunderstanding will take over. Be be far away from your heartbeat because it's too dangerous and anything bad can take place or happened, when you're far away from you lover, even other's draw near the person, don't give room for a long far away relationship or else you will regret loosing what you started building. 7, ATTENTION: Attention is another point where some people fail in relationship, when you can't listen to your lover, it then means something is wrong somewhere or you're going someone else attention outside your relationship. When attention is not involved, even other's opinion becomes the best instead

agreeing or paying attention to your lover. When you struggle to get the attention of an individual it then means the person is not meant for you, go away because even in the future the person won't listen to you. Attention is special and precious in a successful relationship, don't stay in relationship without attention, it won't work out. Don't be in a relationship with someone who takes your opinion for granted, it shows the person does not have value for you, LET IT GO. Attention should come freely and easily, not been begged or forced.
AFRICA
8, PATIENT: Patient is work in progress. Anyone who cannot have patience with you cannot bring out the best from you and such person can't build your destiny none dream up, LET IT GO. A patient human can handle and build up a successful home, someone that have patience with you can wait for you, expect you the way you i just to bring out the best from you. Patient build, patient work with time, patient endure, patient don't give eyes for fault none give ears to people's hate speech against who they truly love. A patient being is not in a hurry to conclude on who they love but takes time to fight to make sure that their truly lover becomes the best version of themselves because no one is created stupid or useless. Everyone have treasures living inside of them and it takes the eyes of an eagle to see such beauty. Patient have eye's to see the best best when other's can't see, patient is slow to anger but full of great love. 9, SELF CONTROL: Self control is needed in relationship, with self control that's value, respect and discipline. Not everyone is discipline, they are people that can't stay without too many friends and such things kills destiny, don't with someone who does not have value and respect for you and who is not discipline, they can't be faithful with one person, they are everywhere. Self control does not beat, insult and look down on anyone. Let your friend have such character of self control and no one will win him or her from you. An individual without self control causes their friend pains and regret, everything moves them. 10, TRUST: Trust in relationship leads to a successful relationship, trust does not suspect and does not give up easily, when your friend have trust towards you, it helps you to live at your best and make you go far beyond human imagination. Lock of trust has destroy lot of destiny's and make some people live in fear which is not good at all in a relationship. Trust does not cheat and can not keep or say what it can't do. Don't be in a relationship with someone who does not trust you, you can't live at your best in such relationship, don't be in a relationship with someone who monitors you all the time without breathing space, it makes you to doubt yourself, don't
be in a relationship with someone who does not believe in your words, to the person everything you say are all lies, don't be in a relationship with someone who can't trust even your dream. Been in a relationship without trust leads to early death, it can't last. Without trust two of you cannot work none walk together, even the Holy Bible said two can't walk together expect they agree, when there is no trust in a relationship, there will be no agreement and when there is no agreement in the relationship then there is no future in the relationship. Trust your lover even at fault because it helps you both to live in unity and love.

Though he’d never before been in trouble with the law, the 17-year-old suddenly found himself in Decatur County Jail with a 10-year sentence. “It was being in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Allen says when asked what had happened and why he had been wrongly convicted. “In some smaller areas, like Bainbridge, they just pick somebody to fit with the crime, regardless.” Initially filled with anger and despair, Allen eventually resigned himself to serving his time and making the best of a fearful situation. “It was very hard on me,” he says. “But a lot of good came out of it. DEWEY THOMPSON "BUILT OFF OF FAILURES" Hello my name is Dewey Thompson Jr and I was built off of failures. When I say Failures I do mean a lot of them but Somehow the universe seems to give you the most at moments of complete and utter loss. Those moments molded me into the man I am today . I started my journey almost 8 years ago at the most trying times in my life. My mother fell victim to cancer and my long term relationship had come to a cease. Add insult to injury my occupational situation wasn’t the best and I had a laundry list of bad habits. At my lowest I found myself running every afternoon. Maybe it was from current situations or maybe it was from reality ? Either way I ran ; this carried on for months until I landed in my local YMCA. Broken yet determined I searched for answers & happiness daily amongst the old weights and tattered benches. At those times it wasn’t about sets or reps it was therapy . Within that therapy I found peace beyond measures in a little corner of a building and loved it . Now fast forward some odd years later and after attending the Body Design of University of Atlanta and working with people in my area and surrounding counties pushed me to becoming a personal trainer. Not only do I promote health and better ways of eating but I promote you to go out and fail Eventually one day you will break that brick wall that you keep running into. Take those bricks and build the foundation to a better you .

THE IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT DIET (“EATING TO COMBAT COVID”)
EAT HEALTHY AND SAFE YOUR LIFE COVID continues to be one of the key influencers of every single trend, and dietary habits are no exception. In fact, The World Health Organization has announced dietary guidelines during the COVID outbreak that stressed the “importance of a balanced diet to maintain a strong immune system,” and includes the recommendation to consume 4 servings of fruits and 5 servings of veggies every day. “Super” foods in the immunesupporting space are everything high in Vitamin C (from grapefruits to broccoli) and Vitamin E (from nuts to avocados). Other on-trend foods for fighting COVID are elderberries, green tea (high in antioxidants), Vitamin D (from the sun or from food, like eggs) and garlic.
Because your body doesn’t produce or store it, you need daily vitamin C for continued health. The recommended daily amountTrusted Source for most adults is:
75 mg for women 90 mg for men If you opt for supplements, avoid taking more than 2,000 milligrams (mg) a day.
Vitamin C Vitamin C may help prevent infections or shorten their stay. Citrus fruits are a standout, but did you know there are other good sources? It’s true! Smith recommends the following: Spinach. Kale. Bell peppers. Brussels sprouts. Strawberries. Papaya. Fun fact: vitamin C is in so many foods that most people may not need to take supplements unless doctor advises it. Consult with your doctor before taking any vitamin C supplements.
Also keep in mind that while vitamin C might help you recover from a cold quicker, there’s no evidence yet that it’s effective against the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2.
Vitamin E Like vitamin C, vitamin E can be a powerful antioxidant that helps your body fight off infection. This important vitamin — part of nearly 200 biochemical reactions in your body — is critical in how your immune system functions. To get your vitamin E, think high-fat plant foods such as: Almonds. Peanuts/peanut butter. Sunflower seeds. Oils such as sunflower, safflower, and soybean oil. Hazelnuts.
Vitamin D
Known as the sunshine vitamin, it’s one of the most important and powerful nutrients for supporting the immune system. Food sources are limited but include: Salmon. Mackerel. Tuna. Sardines. Vitamin D fortified like milk, orange juice and cereals. In general, it’s best to get most of your vitamins from food, but vitamin D may be the exception to that rule. Talk with your doctor to find out if you need a supplement.
Vitamin D
Folate is the natural form and folic acid is the synthetic form, often added to foods because of its health benefits. To get more folate, add more beans and lentils to your plate on a regular basis, as
well as leafy green vegetables. Avocado is another tasty source. You can also get folic acid in fortified foods (check the label first). Enriched pasta. Enriched bread. Enriched rice.
Iron Iron, which helps your body carry oxygen to cells, plays a part in many of the immune system processes. It comes in different forms. Your body can more easily absorb heme iron (aka iron from animal products), which is abundant in: Red meat (limit to smaller amounts and less often). Chicken. Turkey. Canned sardines. Oysters. Clams. Mussels. Canned light tuna. If you’re a vegetarian, have no fear. You can still find iron in: Beans. Broccoli. Kale. Iron-fortified cereals.
Selenium
Selenium seems to have a powerful effect on the immune system being important for preventing infections. Animal foods are the best sources, with the exception of Brazil nuts, that offer a whopping greater than 100% daily value in one nut. However, too
much can be a problem, so keep to no more than one to two of these in a day. Look for selenium in: Seafood (tuna, halibut, sardines). Meat and liver. Poultry. Cottage cheese.
Zinc Zinc is needed for the production of new immune system cells. It’s found primarily in animal foods but can be also found in some vegetarian food like. Oysters. Crab. Lean meats and poultry. Baked beans. Yogurt. Chickpeas.
The Benefits of Garlic Garlic is found in almost every cuisine in the world. It adds a little zing to food and it’s a must-have for your health. Early civilizations recognized its value in fighting infections. Garlic may also slow down hardening of the arteries, and there’s weak evidence that it helps lower blood pressure. Garlic’s immune-boosting properties seem to come from a heavy concentration of sulfurcontaining compounds, such as allicin.

SIMONE WALKER IS A NATIVE WASHINGTONIAN AND THE DAUGHTER OF PASTOR ROOSEVELT VINCENT AND MRS. TERESSA L. PALMER OF WASHINGTON, DC.
Simone Walker is a native Washingtonian and the daughter of Pastor Roosevelt Vincent and Mrs. Teressa L. Palmer of Washington, DC. She attended Maryland schools where she earned the class clown spot in Jr. High School. Now realizing her love for performing on stage in High School, her talents lead to performing at her church then on to Broadway style productions. Singing and dancing with a cast of over 300 poeple and then her first movie role in a student film, “One Chance”. A school teacher who shows love to a trouble student who finally finds her way to a positive life. This experience gave her love for the camera which encouraged her to seek other roles in film, commercial, and more. After starting a career in radio in 1986 at WYCB and then on to WWGB in 1998, she then found this experience afforded her an opportunity to expand into her own business. With this great experience and opportunity, “Palmer’s Voice” was started. With that she offers voicing services for Radio, Television, Video, Voicemail, hosting, and motivational speaking.

"NIGHT BEFORE DAY" MY EXPERIENCE
“TO THE ONE AND ONLY DR.RITA A. WALLACE POSEY, I PRAY I‘VE MADE YOU PROUD.”
I am more than honored to participate in such a phenomenal presentation of Night Before Day. As an artist, to be able to do what you love is priceless and I am grateful to be chosen for such a role. This project was very special to me as it was an opportunity to pretend real life and make it look real. When I got the call from the director, Randall Lawrence, I had no idea the magnitude of what was required. It challenged me as an actor and it expanded me as an artist. Working with Faheem Saadiq AbdusSalaam was also an all time treat. The first day on the set felt like we were family. He was simply Faheem and chemistry in acting is important and I just loved working with him. I thank Randall Lawrence for thinking it not robbery to cast me in the lead role. I am forever grateful for his continued trust in me to bring his vision to fruition. I am truly blessed. To the one and only Ms. Rita A. Wallace Posey, I pray I‘ve made you proud. 68

"Night Before Day" Experience FAHEEM SAADIQ ABDUS-SALAAM
I was so honored and pleased to learn, from Director, Randall Lawrence, that I had been awarded the role of Lionel Posey in the biopic of Night Before Day. Lionel, the husband of Rita Posey, was a very calm, mild mannered, and intelligent man, with distinctive characteristics, as a Husband, Father, and Man that I would have to do my best to match on screen, as I recall Rita hinting to me, with a certainty that would not be waived. Nonetheless, I was going to bring a part of me, to bridge the gap of my own distinctive characteristics with the historical and imposing figure of Mr. Lionel Posey. This challenge was more than welcomed, because it allowed me to assume the role of extreme emotions and passion that I had to search for, considering the circumstances of Lionel’s rollercoaster ride of health-related setbacks. Cancer has been a part of my life s well, with the challenges of its devastation and the deaths of some of my male role models in my personal and professional life, therefore; this role allowed for me to seek within, to examine the dark times that I had allowed to lay dormant for many years. I would be remised, not to extend gratitude towards the very endearing and heartfelt joyful moments that I had with my own family members, prior to their diagnosis and I wanted to ensure that I brough that same enthusiasm in the production of Night Before Day. Working with so many people involved, to bring this awesome display of remembrance to the Posey family, has been simply amazing. My on-set wife Simone Walker and those wonderful actors playing the role of our kids Kimia Workman and Keton Meredith, made it easy to get into and stay into character. What a fabulous cast of characters!!! I am and have been excited to see the finished product and I certainly hope that I fulfilled the vision of Rita and the character of her husband Lionel Posey. May Allah be pleased with him. Thank you Rita Posey, for allowing me to tap into your brain and emotions, to bring Lionel to the Big Screen. I believe he is pleased. Job well done to you!!!

Elijah recalls God beginning to open doors for him in 2016, by connecting him with influential voices and giving him new opportunities to minister in new places. “I was prophesying correctly, but I knew I was still bound”, he recalls. “I knew I wasn’t ready for this platform. I remember a moment in prayer where God said ‘Do you want the GIFT, or do you want MY GLORY?’”. In 2018, in search of freedom and Gods’ glory, Elijah cancelled all his ministry engagements, moved to Central Florida and begin to pursue deliverance like never before. During this season, he remembers visiting many churches, but even after continual attendance, prayer and purging - he would still find himself struggling with perversion, shame, and addictions. “One day, I was reading my bible and was led to Exodus 3:7-9 and the Holy Spirit highlighted to me that God was looking for my sincere cry and desperation for freedom. I would spend 72

As a first-generation male college student in his family, 27 year old Elijah has beaten the odds and is currently pursuing his Masters in Higher Education Leadership. Chef Antonio Middleton Sr. was born in Panama City, Fl. In his early years his love for cooking was yet to be discovered. Antonio was a typical child exploring and viewing life from an underdeveloped vision and no established passions. He was raised by his grandmother who openly displayed a love for cooking for her family. Unbeknownst to Antonio, he would develop that same love as his grandmother and it would later contribute to his unexpected journey to becoming a Chef. Nonetheless, it wouldn’t be long before his passion for cooking expanded in his early adult years and he was in transit to quickly developing his culinary skills and becoming an artist in the kitchen. Antonio begin fulfilling his educational desires of Culinary Arts in 2013 at Gulf Coast State College. When Antonio was not studying in school, to progress his knowledge and skills he would spend his spare time reading cookbooks, watching cooking shows and creating dishes in the kitchen in hopes to further educate and self-educate his self. Antonio later graduated with his Culinary Degree in 2016. Antonio has an innate adoration for being a role model for his peers and adolescence surrounding him. He often gives advice to other aspiring Chefs in the area as he takes gratification in assisting in cultivating the young and talented minds around him. Furthermore, Antonio’s upbringing and his life choices emerging in adulthood would not allow him to envision his current path in life. Therefore, he is humbled and grateful to be engaged and involved such as; teaching culinary classes at a local restaurant and participating in community events in hopes to be an example of breaking barriers and beating the odds. In 2012, Antonio’s professional career began. He was the Sushi Chef for Bay Point Wyndham Resorts for 3 years, mentored by Sushi Chef Lillia Pak with over 20 years of experience.
He later was promoted to Banquet Chef for Bay Point Sheraton Resorts, for 3 years and specialized in catering business ventures, weddings, meeting and parties. Antonio enjoys having the ability to express himself through creating exquisite cuisines and displaying his creativity with plate presentations. His strength is in catering, he relishes the feeling of excitement he receives when preparing to feed large groups of people in a timely manner. When Antonio is not engaging in his passion and perfecting his craft, he appreciates creating memories with his family and spending quality time with his only son, Antonio II.

Michael Scott has overcome many obstacles! He is the CEO and founder of “Grill Pit Master”. He has always had a passion to cook. His story is amazing. At the age of 15 he started a life of crime. He started out in the streets selling drugs and engaged in robbery and burglary. At one point in his life he was facing 30 years , so he decided to give his life to the Lord and that’s when all good things started to happen. He was raised in the church. His parents were Ministers of the Gospel, however he chose the streets, but that’s not how his story ended…Once Michael gave his life to the Lord, God started to performing many miracles. One of the proudest moments in his life was after Hurricane Michael. Michael noticed that a Semi Truck was overturned. He got out of his vehicle and brought the man to safety. In 2021 he contracted COVID 19 and almost lost his life. He was admitted to the hospital with an oxygen level of 80% and in a matter of weeks it had dropped to 2%.
Michael cried out to the Lord and asked him to save him and that’s exactly what he did…Days later he was taken off of the breathing machine and released to go home. Once he was released from the hospital and he regained his strength he decided that he would have a family get together. He would prepare all the food for his family…and this is how the Grill Pit Master was birth. Everyone raved and ranted about how delicious the food was…the chicken was seasoned to the bone, the ribs were falling off the bone…it was an encore! Since that day Prophet Michael weekends have been booked with baby showers, church events, and family reunions all the way down to special deliveries. Michael can be reached on Facebook at Michael D Scott(Prophet Michael Scott)
SO YOU LIKE TO EAT? BY GARY LEE Do you like to eat like I do? As I have grown older, I found it is better to eat smaller portions, but more portions! Instead of a burger and fries, I want a soup and a salad, a burger, dessert and coffee. Not really! I prefer a cup of Cream of Crab Soup, a Garden Salad with no olives, Stuffed Rainbow Trout, Steamed Asparagus with Rose Cream Sauce, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and a side order of Sugar Snap Peas. For dessert perhaps a Baked Alaska flambe, or a Key Lime Pie with a French Press Coffee. As a child I enjoyed watching my mother serve up some delicious meals. After meeting my future bride, I was introduced to a large variety of delicious foods. All entrees and desserts were made in my future mother-in-law’s kitchen. Once I married, I learned to cook from the best, my lovely bride. She encouraged me to cook by virtue of having her hands full with an infant, a toddler, and a pre-teenager! I learned fast what not to cook and everything else. As the children matured and moved on to begin their own families, I began to try different local restaurants, most of which were the local chain restaurants that every town has in their restaurant inventory. Finally, I began to enjoy the culinary delights of the upscale restaurants. My bride and I were introduced to steak combinations I did not know existed. We really enjoyed the high level of service rendered at the more upscale restaurants. Currently I enjoy eating food and enjoy taking photos of ordered items. Those photos are posted on social media, so eyeballs can enjoy the meal as much as my taste buds! So do you like to eat like I do?
