Along with being Pastors and TV show hosts, Ron and Charlitta are successful entrepreneurs. They are Founders and Owners of 1st Choice Facilities Maintenance LLC. They employ people from various communities, to assist them in not only providing for their families, but also to build an organization that promotes a spirit of excellence. The Pastors merge their business skill sets, with their ministerial skill sets. They are equipped with a unique anointing to teach the Word of God, in any environment, to produce understanding in the hearts of God’s people. They believe that it is not good enough for Believers to just read, sing, and shout about the power of God, and never see the results of His power. Ron and Charlitta believe that all Believers must grow to a place where they begin to manifest the favor and the power of God in their everyday lives. “He’s More Than a Message He’s an Opportunity” Jesus Christ! THE PLAYING FIELD HAS BEEN LEVELED! Most of you all have heard of, or are familiar with the phrase, “The Playing Field Has Been Leveled.” For those of you who are not familiar with that phrase, the Free Dictionary website states that the phrase, “The playing field has been leveled,” means “To make a situation or activity fairer and more balanced by giving an extra advantage or opportunity to those who would normally be at a disadvantage, or by attempting to take away or diminish advantages, perhaps of one's adversary or competitor.” Following are sentences that this website uses to help you understand that phrase: ·“The point of this legislation is to level the playing field for those who have typically found it harder to access public funding. ·The acquisition of the star player in the offseason was intended to level the playing field with them main rivals, who have become perennial champions.” This world system forms opinions about others based upon several factors such as: a person’s physical appearance, financial status, educational status, ethnicity, and race, to name a few. Ethnicity in this context means a group of people who share a common culture, such as American culture. Race, in this context means a group of people who share common physical characteristics, such as skin color.
Page 12
A further distinction is all people who are citizens of America adhere to the culture of the Country of America. However, all people who are citizens of America do not have the same skin color. The Holy Bible uses the Greek word, “Kosmos” to define the word “world.” According to Strong's Concordance, the word Kosmos has several meanings. One of the definitions is the inhabitants of the world. Using the above meaning of the previously defined words, one can now rephrase the previous statement to say that “the inhabitants of the world, form opinions about other people based upon several factors such as: a person’s physical appearance, financial status, educational status, ethnicity, or race, to name a few. Whenever a person forms his/her opinion about another person, based upon physical appearance, financial status, educational status, ethnicity, or race, there is always a chance that personal bias will happen. A person should base his/her opinion about another based upon what the Word of God says. The Holy Bible says, in the Book of Romans, Chapter 3, verse 23, that we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The Holy Bible further states, in the Book of Romans, Chapter 10, verse 10 that “there is none righteous, no, not one.” James 4:12 asks the question, “who are you to judge another.” Only God is in a position to judge another, because only God knows the heart of man. Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we should no longer view others from a world’s perspective, we should view others from a Biblical perspective. Regardless to a person’s individual characteristics, in God’s eyesight, we are all on the same level. The Book of Ephesians, Chapter 2, verse eight says, “for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. The Book of Romans, chapter 12, verse 3, states that we should not think of ourselves more highly that we ought to think.
This means that we deserve to die and spend eternity separated from God. However, because of God’s love for us, He gives us undeserved favor through Jesus Christ. Jesus’ shed blood on the cross atoned for, or satisfied God’s justice and penalty for sin. Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are now in right standing with God, and we will no longer be separated from God. We will spend eternity with Him . God’s favor in our lives is a powerful force. It’s so strong that many of us may not realize at first just how deeply it impacts us.When we first get saved, we may have a fundamental, logical knowledge of grace, but it may take us years, or even the rest of our lives, to fully understand what we need to know. This undeserved favor from God proactively reaches out to us in various ways, changes us for the better, and allows us to live on the same level as Jesus Christ. “1 John 4:17 TPT: By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world”. STOP LOOKING FOR THE OLD YOU THAT PERSON HAS DISAPPEARED! Have you ever heard people say, “Now that I know Jesus, I am not what I use to be; my old man is gone, dead, and forgotten about; I’ve got a new attitude; I’m a new man, in Christ Jesus.” Yet when you look at them, you don’t see anything different, physically, about them. However, you do notice that their perspective on life, and the way they use to handle challenging situations in life has changed. Who is this new person? Let’s look at the Holy Bible to see if we can determine what happened to this old person.Where did he disappear to? The Holy Bible teaches that the real you is spirit; you have a soul; and you have a physical body.In other words, you are a triune being.
In other words, God’s Word has leveled the playing field. One person does not have an advantage, or disadvantage, over or under another. We have all made mistakes in God’s eyesight, and we can only be saved by the grace of God, through Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 New King James Version Blessing and Admonition 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible states that grace is undeserved favor. Undeserved favor means favor that we did not earn on our own merit; it was given to us by God. The Bible further states, in the Book of Romans, Chapter six, verse 23, that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The word “gift” in this context means undeserved favor.
Hebrews 4:12 New King James Version 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Your soul is immaterial as well. It consists of three entities: your will, aka your chooser; your emotions, aka your feeler; and your intellect, aka thinker. You make choices in life using your will. You feel things such as love, anger, with your emotions. You think with your intellect. Your spirit and soul are not made from matter; meaning they do not have mass; therefore, they can’t take up space. However, your physical body is material, meaning it is tangible; it has mass; and it occupies space. Your physical body allows you to relate to this physical realm using your five senses, which are taste, touch, smell, hear, and sight. Your physical body is the house or shell that your spirit and soul lives in. When you see a person’s body, you do not see the real person, the essence of that person. You see the house of shell that holds the real person, which is their spirit and soul.
is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Colossians 1:21-22 New King James Version 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— Once you become born-again, you are no longer the same. God gives you a new nature, a nature that wants to please Him by following His Word. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
The Holy Bible teaches that God is Spirit. John 4:24 New King James Version 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” God created mankind as spirit so that mankind could have an intimate relationship and commune with Him. When Adam sinned against God, in the Garden of Eden, by disobeying God and partaking of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, Adam’s fellowship with God ceased to exist. He could no longer have an intimate relationship with God and commune with Him.Adam could no longer relate to the things of God. In addition, Adam also acquired a sin nature, which is a nature, that automatically caused him to respond to things contrary to God and His Word. Adam became spiritually dead; and every man that is born after Adam is born spiritually dead as well. According to the Holy Bible, the only way that mankind can have a relationship and commune with God again, is by accepting Jesus the Christ as their Lord and Savior.Jesus’ shed blood on the cross atoned for, or satisfied God’s justice and penalty for sin. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are now back in right standing with God, and you will no longer be separated from God.Once you accept Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit, who is the Third Person of the Godhead, immediately indwells in your dead spirit, and makes it alive or born-again. John 3:5-8 New King James Version 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one

2 Corinthians 5:17, New King James Version (NKJV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. New creation means you have a new inner man, which is your spirit man. Your old man, who is your old spirit man, was buried in Christ Jesus; and now you are a new man, created in the image of Christ Jesus. The old you, the old person has disappeared, and has been replaced with the new you, the new person. The things of God will now be revealed to you by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit opens up the Word of God to you and teaches you about God. You can now worship God, in spirit and truth, like the Bible says: John 4:24 New King James Version 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Once you accept Jesus the Christ as your Lord as Savior, your citizenship changes; you are now a citizen of God’s kingdom in Heaven, and an ambassador for the kingdom of God here on earth. The Free Dictionary website defines an ambassador as a diplomatic official of the highest rank appointed and accredited as representative in residence by one government or sovereign to another, usually for a specific length of time.
Page 15
You now have a new ruler, the Lord Jesus Christ. You receive all of your authority and power from your new ruler, your new king, the Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus the Christ was crucified, buried, resurrected, and ascended into Heaven, He disarmed your adversary, and now, through Jesus, you have dominion over your adversary, Satan. Colossians 2:13-15, New King James Version (NKJV) 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. You do not have to let your adversary, Satan, influence your will to choose, to allow corrupt communication to come out of your mouth. You will only speak words that glorify the name of Jesus. You will rely upon God’s Word when you are confronted with distressful situations. This doesn’t mean that you will not have trials and tribulations, because the word of God says: John 16:33 New King James Version (NKJV) 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” However, as Jesus said, He has overcome the world, so, we can walk in the victory that He’s gotten on our behalf. Acts 17:28, New King James Version (NKJV) 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, Satan no longer has any legal authority over you as a believer; he can no longer claim that he owns you because you have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb and by the word of your testimony. The new you, will not take another person’s life without giving it a second thought. The new you, will not commit other crimes against, or say hurtful things to others without giving it a second thought. You now are moved, and make your decisions, based upon the Word of God. Right now, the entire world, which includes our country, is experiencing a lot of major, traumatic events. People don’t know how to respond to these events. However, you, the
Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition
born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ know how to respond. You no longer have to respond based upon the world’s perspective; you respond from a Biblical perspective based upon the Word of God. You will be confronted with situations, based upon the world’s perspective, but you must remember that you have a higher source, the Holy Spirit. You no longer have to respond based upon what the “group thinks,” because what the group thinks might be against the word of God. Each of us, as believers, has an internal witness on the inside of us. That witness is the Holy Spirit. We must rely upon what the Holy Spirit tells us. The Holy Spirit, the presence of God, is still on the earth today. He resides in everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit is a person. The Bible is quite clear that the Holy Spirit is active in our world. Sometimes, we as believers, need to be reminded of this. We’ve seen or experienced a situation where a religious leader said that God told him/her that a particular thing will happen or end a certain way, and it doesn’t, and the leader is then accused of being a false prophet. Some have done this recently. We are in a position where we must seek God for ourselves and rely upon the individual guidance that He gives us through His Holy Spirit, not guidance from others. During the times that we are living in today, we are confronted with so many things that sound right to us. One group will tell you how to respond to a situation, and it sounds right. Then another group will tell you something completely different, and that sounds right as well. As a result, people are confused; they are being tossed to and fro by any wind and doctrine, not knowing which option is right. God does not want us to be tossed to and fro. That’s why we have the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of us. Ephesians 4:22-24 New King James Version 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Comparing the old to the new, life before the cross was not as rich and full of promise as life after the cross. Under the Law of Moses, the people were expected to abide by hundreds of strict rules and regulations to avoid being cursed. God led them, but from a distance. After Jesus’ death and resurrection, God no longer leads us from a distance. God, Himself, now lives in us.

“1 Corinthians 3:16-17 TPT: [16] Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that the Spirit of God makes his permanent home in you?[17] Now, if someone desecrates God’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are. Believing in the power of what Jesus did for us frees us from captivity to fear, worry, stress, and anxiety. We now have peace of mind and joy that can’t be explained rationally, yet it’s always there, even in difficult times. This is all part of the Father’s plan for believers.” JESUS PAVED THE WAY FOR NEW OPPORTUNITIES! Do you know what an image is? Merriam Webster defines an image as a visual or mental representation of something. For example, supposed you were asked to project in your mind, an image of a person with their hands and feet bound in shackles by chains. You could readily project that image in your mind because you have seen a person in that condition. What you have projected in your mind is a mental representation of something that you have seen physically with your eyes. Now, suppose you were asked to project in your mind an image of a person’s mind bound in shackles with guilt, shame, and condemnation. Like most people, you would have a difficult time projecting that image. Why?Because first of all you can’t visualize an image of your mind. You might have seen an image of a brain but seeing an image of your brain does not let you know what your mind, aka your intellect looks like. Second, guilt, shame, and condemnation are not physical forces, they are negative emotions that attack your soul. The Dictionary website defines guilt as a feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime, wrong, etc., whether real or imagined. It defines shame as a painful feeling arising from the consciousness of something dishonorable, improper, ridiculous, etc., done by oneself or another. Also, it defines condemnation as the act of condemning. Condemning is to express an unfavorable or adverse judgment on; indicate strong disapproval of. Your soul is immaterial. It consists of three entities: your will, aka your chooser; your emotions, aka your feeler; and your intellect, aka thinker. You make choices in life using your will. You feel things such as love, anger, guilt, shame, and condemnation with your emotions. You think with your intellect. They are immaterial, meaning they do not have mass; therefore, and they can’t take up space. The Holy Bible teaches that we have an enemy that attacks our soul. Ephesians 6:10-13 New King James Version The Whole Armor of God
Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. That enemy is identified in the Bible as Satan. Satan’s battlefield is our mind. He places a negative thought in our mind. That negative thought attacks our emotions and causes us to respond by producing negative feelings of guilt, shame, and condemnation. These negative feelings oppress us; we internalize them; and they are expressed in the form of depression, or other illnesses that affect our mind, and can expand to affect our physical body as well, in the form of various illnesses, known as Psychosomatic Disorders. The Bible teaches that Jesus came to set the captives, the oppressed free. Luke 4:18 New King James Version 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; Jesus’ shed blood on the cross atoned for, or satisfied God’s justice and penalty for sin.Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are now in a covenant relationship with God, and you can receive benefits from that relationship. One of benefits of that covenant relationship, is the forgiveness of our sins by God. The Bible teaches that: 1 John 1:9 New King James Version 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Another benefit of that covenant relationship is, we don’t have to entertain the negative feelings of guilt, shame, and condemnation that the enemy of our soul, Satan, attacks our mind, and our emotions with. Romans 8:1 New King James Version Free from Indwelling Sin 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. The Bible teaches us to: Page 18
James 4:7 New King James Version 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Christians aren’t perfect, just forgiven. When we miss the mark, we can be free from the spiritual shackles of guilt, shame, and condemnation because Jesus has already taken care of the judgment and sentencing for sin. Negative emotions hold people back from leading the joyful, powerful lives God wants them to have. Shame inflicts emotional pain and damage; Jesus hated it so much, He died on our behalf to take it away forever. “Isaiah 50:6-7 TPT: [6] I offered my back to those who flogged me and my cheek to those who tore out my beard. I never hid my face from demeaning insults or from those who spit on me. [7] The Lord Yahweh empowers me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason, with holy determination, I will do his will and not be ashamed.” “Romans 8:1-3 TPT [1] So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. [2] For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. [3] For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin”. TAKE A LOAD OFF YOUR MIND All can admit that the last few years has been very challenging to us as individuals, and to society as a whole. Within the short timeframe of a few years, we’ve been confronted with COVID-19, and the disruptions that this virus has caused in our daily lives. We’ve also been exposed to civil unrest in the form of protests, as well as mass shootings, to name a few. To compound all of the aforementioned challenges, the entire world is now riveted on the wars and rumors of wars that are happening all across the globe. Needless to say, people feel hopeless and fearful, because they are dealing with situations in which some have never dealt with in their lifetime; situations in which no one can control. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Ron and Pastor Charlitta launched several initiatives to help LCCM, and to a broader extent others, throughout the community, who are not members of LCCM, deal with these challenges. One of the initiatives that they launched is a free, weekly “Intercessory Prayer Call. During the prayer call, a message, or
Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition
words of encouragement, based upon the Holy Bible, are given to the listener. Prayers are given after the message or words of encouragement. The number of calls each week continues to increase, even today, because people are desperately seeking to hear a word from God. A word that delivers them from hopelessness and fear; a word that gives them the peace that surpasses all understanding, according to the Holy Bible.
Because we have a relationship with Christ, we can rest without the nagging uneasiness so many others carry. This rest is something that money and selfeffort can’t give us because it doesn’t focus on external factors and materialism to earn blessings from God.Instead, this rest focuses on us receiving by faith, what He has already provided for us. “Hebrews 4:9-11 TPT: So we conclude that there is still a full and complete “rest” waiting for believers to experience. [10] As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. [11] So then we must give our all and be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief.” This isn’t always easy to do when we are confronted with the pressures of life; however, with God’s help, it can be done. As God’s children, we’re in a unique position to demonstrate His love by the way we live.God has radically changed us so that His grace can flow through us and radically change the lives of others.Submitting to His influence makes us lights in a dark world.

BE STILL; AS YOU HAVE BEEN PROPERLY SEATED! Ephesians 4:16 (New Living Translation) He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Pastor Charlitta and I were believing for God to increase our territory, as we searched for a new location for our Congregation. In 2016, we were blessed with our church building that is located in Accokeek Maryland. Prior to opening our new church doors for services, we had to make major renovations, both inside and outside of the church building. These renovations required people with special skill sets. Our congregation is a diverse group of people from all walks of life. God saw our need ahead of time, and He prearranged LCCM (believers and/or members) with the skill sets that we needed to do the renovation of our church. Our church members love the Lord and used their skills and talents to renovate our church. Most of the renovations were done in-house not requiring outside contractors. The days and nights were filled with great fellowship (thanking God Almighty) as members did their part in a spirit of love. God seats his people in the Body of Christ according to his will. His will shall be done. The doors of LCCM are open for God's people. They are not judged by their thoughts. We rightfully divide the word of truth. It is the true and living God that changes the hearts and minds of others. God Almighty joins us together in a spirit of love to assist each other as we continue to upbuild his Kingdom. His favor is on our Ministry! Our church building stands tall with God's glory on it from any angle that you choose to look. We are a better people when we work together than apart. The renovations were a team effort, and we all share in a sense of accomplishment each time we gaze our eyes upon our building. Love and unity please God. We will continue to move forward by faith with the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit; giving all glory and honor to our heavenly Father. 1 Corinthians 12:12 New King James Version 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

(Pastor Ron’s Quotes) #1 “Humility isn’t timidity, humility is obeying God against all odds and at every turn” #2 “True Love is to passionately and sacrificially pursue the well-being of all mankind” #3 “Don’t let the devil get too fat put him on a fruit diet” The enemy desire is to grow and promote his dark agenda through feeding off our setbacks when this occurs starve him out by displaying the attributes of God’s Spirit BKA the fruits of the Spirit! Galatians 5:22 TPT But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless! Poised to make a difference! Life Covenant Christian Ministries (LCCM) has a strong presence in the District of Columbia– Maryland – Virginia (DMV) area, and a growing footprint across the United States of America (USA) through radio, television, and social media.LCCM was founded in a small two-bedroom home in Waldorf, MD on January 16, 2009, with just seven committed members.Over the years, the ministry grew and made a greater impact in the Southern Maryland region. Now it continues to grow, significantly, beyond the borders of Southern Maryland. Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build, time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, time to search and a time to count as lost, a time to keep and a time to discard, time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

For His Glory With Dr. Leslie
Page 24
Greetings readers! I am so excited to introduce myself to you. I know that in no time it will feel like we are old friends. Or perhaps like the mother, sister or auntie that you never had. (lol) My name is Dr. Leslie Green and you may call me Dr. Leslie for short. How I became Dr. Leslie is a long story with many layers. For now, I’ll just give you the abbreviated version of who I am and what makes me tick. As the months and years go on, I’ll share a little more. I am a Christian wife, mother and grandmother who absolutely adores writing and singing. I have been writing for more than three decades now. WOW, when I say that out loud it even amazes me. I can’t believe how fast times flies. It’s like, I blinked and I was a grandmother. But I wouldn’t change a thing! I’ve been blessed with so many beautiful experiences and twists and turns and twirls and swirls, which have all contributed to my written adventures. I have published one book with my husband of 27 years, Dr. Lionel Green (who I also sing with professionally) And the Two Shall Become One Flesh, a Poetry Collection book called, Crystallized tears, a Children’s coloring book, hundreds of songs, devotionals, columns, articles and more! In addition, my company, BG (Believing in God) Records became the first company to sign an audio publishing deal with the American Psychological Association (APA) in 2017. To date, we have published twelve audiobooks in which I am the narrator or voice actor for five of them. My goal here with MLM is to uplift, inspire and encourage readers with devotional and motivational pieces. Some may be a little serious and others, bits of funny but I promise to always include some nuggets and pearls that will give you something to think about and prayerfully change your life for the better. The thing is, everyone needs a little pick me up now and then…. Some sunshine in what sometimes tends to feel like endless rainy days. It is important to remember that even those (sometimes ESPECIALLY those) who seem strong and always wear a smile, NEED to be encouraged, heard and shown some love. I will unapologetically be your cheerleader and pep squad of one. I’d like to take this time to thank the founder of MLM, Dr. Rita Posey and her entire team for this opportunity and warm welcome. Who knows, when the digital version of this magazine is released (speak it into existence), You may see me giving you a live pep talk! Until then, let’s prepare to go on a journey together through paradigm shifts, mindfulness and positivity. Talk to ya next issue, we’ve got this! Abundant Blessings, Dr. Leslie Scripted Reality People love watching reality TV. Anything that is full of drama, backstabbing, jealousy and chaos. The more the better right? WRONG! Some of us have become addicted to watching real people put in scripted situations in hopes to reveal aspects some real life, or fantasy of what life is. Should it entertain you? Inspire? Cause envy? Do you become obsessed or attached? Do you find yourself as soon as the episode is over, thinking about the next one? Have you found yourself comparing your life to what you THINK their life is? Are you trying to keep up with the Jones’s so to speak? Your life has become an empty shell because you have vacated the premises! You have abandoned you to take part in an illusion of what you think other people are doing in and with their lives. It is NOT real and you have neglected the blessing that is YOUR life. Take Away God has given you life so that you may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) but He has given you your life. Not someone else’s. Furthermore, His word is real and not scripted. So, if you choose to follow a script choose the Holy Word of God. Prayer Most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Word to serve as a life guide and a light unto my path. I realize that sometimes I neglect to realize just how powerful Your Word is. I can be so hard-headed sometimes and it leads me down the wrong path. Please help me to decrease the desires of my flesh and increase The Spirit of The Living God within me. I want to focus more on the precious gift that is my life. I so want to learn to seek the truth instead of the lies that are of this world. For I know that every time I make a decision to spend time wrapped up in reality t.v., social media and Apps, that it is less time spent with you. I ask that You help me to see, what is for me is for me and therefore I have no reason to envy what others appear to have. I trust that in Your timing, I will receive what you have already promised to me.
I ask these things in the matchless Name of Jesus. Amen Scripture Reading Psalm 37:3-5 -Trust in the Lord and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Hope FULLY Devoted,
Wake Up Old Sleeping Church!!
Wake up out of thine sleep, old sleeping Church. For the time of my return is nearer than even you can imagine or think. For if it was not so, I would not be impressing it upon thine heart to take heed. Warn the lost, the sick, the backslider, and all the people of the earth. Whatever I have placed upon thine heart to do you must get in a hurry to do it. And no longer should you to look unto mere man to acknowledge you, appoint you, to anoint and appreciate you for it is not in many of their hearts to do so….You must remember, it is I who have called thee and have chosen thee from amongst many to do great work within the earth...But you “must” reply upon my spirit and my spirit alone to help you carry out such an assignment on the earth. Remember, it is by my spirit and my spirit alone that will dispel the great darkness that is now upon the earth…But you must stay focused upon me so that I can strengthen your hands to fight in my victory. Don’t lose your focus on what may have an appearance of great Kingdom work for I know the very motive and the intent of every man's heart and I will reveal and expose many who have been looked upon as great kingdom workers soon says the spirit of the Lord...... My return is near! Best Regards, Prophetess Janet Adams Founder and Visionary, Kingdom Daughterz Incorporated, New Voices eMagazine www.kingdomdaughterz.com

Vincent & Deborah Price Our Life, Our Story, For His Glory Apostle Dr. Vincent R. Price & Apostle Dr. Deborah A. Price God's divine will and providence can sometimes be humorous yet timely. Growing up, our parents and grandparents train us to be good upstanding citizens while instilling tools to help us overcome any adversity. One of those tools was prayer. Deborah knew nothing of salvation and or the infilling of the Holy Ghost, but what she did know was that God answered prayers. On July 19, 1990, God answered one of those heartfelt and sincere prayers. This was the night that God would connect the two puzzle pieces he created from the beginning of time. Those two puzzle pieces , Vincent Price and Deborah Evans. Deborah asked God for a man to love only her and not what she had or didn't have. To love her for where she was and not where she had been. She asked God to give her someone like her grandfather. Someone kind, loving, and family devoted. God answered that prayer and sent the Boaz he prepared for her in the form of Vincent Price. Three weeks later, the two were engaged and planning a wedding. On January 4, 1992, Vincent and Deborah were joined together as husband and wife. Together these two experienced 32 years of ups, downs, grows and glows. In April 1994, the happy couple experienced their first growth when they, on a Wednesday at 7:00 pm, both received salvation after calling their Pastor, Bishop Janie Carr. This growth was the beginning of many spiritual growths to come. The subsequent spiritual growth for Vincent and Deborah came from obedience and a miracle. They desired to have children but experienced three years of infertility. God spoke through two prophets informing Vincent and Deborah that he would bless them with children with one requirement: Vincent preaches the gospel. November 1995, after Vincent yielded to the will of God for his life and a word from God, he preached his initial sermon in December 1995, "God Will Provide." He and Deborah experienced their first glow in August 1996 with the birth of their triplet sons, Jordan, Immanuel, Nile. After two years of chasing toddlers, Deborah experienced another growth in her life. This new growth was the call to ministry and an awakening of the prophetic gift she had suppressed since she was 14 years old because she had no idea what it was and what was happening to her. The two puzzle pieces were now connecting at another level, the ministry level. Deborah preached her initial sermon in July 1998, "No More Chains." God strengthened their marriage and brought them even closer through ministry.
God continued to grow in Vincent and Deborah. In 2000, God spoke to Vincent while traveling with his family through Richmond, Virginia, saying this is where ministry would begin. After receiving the blessing of release from Bishop Janie Carr, Vincent and Deborah opened New Jerusalem Ministries International on February 3, 2002, in Richmond, VA. However, God had not finished growing them. God continued stretching Vincent and Deborah in ministry. God called Vincent to the office of the apostle. Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition

Two years later, he accepted the call and was consecrated as an apostle by the late Apostle R. L. Garner of the First Pentecostal Churches of Deliverance in April 2004. After this time, God changed the ministry's name to One Accord Church Fellowship International (OACFI) to unify the body of Christ. The ministry of these two puzzle pieces became even more profound. God sent them on a missionary trip in 2006 to Davao, the Philippines, to conduct leadership training for thirty-one pastors and youth leaders. They both taught during the day while Vincent preached at night crusades. God saved souls, one of whom was a witch who received salvation and baptism. In 2013, God sent Vincent and Deborah on another missionary journey to Kenya, Africa, where they ministered and instructed churches in conducting the Lord's Supper. Another growth came in the elevation of Deborah to the office of apostle in November 2016. God was repositioning the two pieces of the puzzle strategically to minister to the body of Christ. Through them, he developed a powerful men's ministry, women's ministry, marriage ministry, and tag team preaching ministry. They have conducted biblical training through the One Accord Bible Institute for various church leaders. Deborah authored a book, "Why Sit Here Until You Die" and is working on a second book. Vincent teaches fivefold leadership training for church leaders. Together they conduct marriage workshops and seminars to strengthen Christian marriages. Vincent and Deborah desire to see the body of Christ whole and be all that Jesus intended. Vincent and Deborah love preaching and teaching the Word of God. January 2021, during the pandemic, they were contacted by Christians in Pakistan to do a bible study each Sunday. After six months, the group of forty grew, and the Christians in Pakistan asked to start a church connected with OACFI. July 2021, God birthed OACFI Pakistan without Vincent or Deborah visiting Pakistan. Only God could set up a church during a pandemic. Vincent and Deborah still conduct bible study on Sunday Mornings with ministry leaders in Pakistan before their morning service. They continue to serve God and His people without thought of themselves. God took two puzzle pieces and made one to fit His grand design. Their passion for God and each other continues to grow daily. They live their life not just before others but also before God. Deborah's mantra, found in Psalm 34:1, she will always bless the Lord, and his praises will continually be in her mouth. Vincent's mantra, found in I Kings 22:14, whatever the Lord says, he will speak. As they continually seek God, He continues to add to their lives and stories for His glory.

As she continued to establish herself in a career, Apostle Price was employed at Operation Smile for two years as a Patient Representative Supervisor. When the Organization filed for bankruptcy after the Vietnam mission, Apostle Price moved to Richmond, V.A. with her aunt and began to work at a local Pearle Vision. While working as the office manager for Dr. Gomez, Apostle Price attended training and professional development classes to gain additional knowledge. Still not satisfied, Apostle Price applied for a cardiac technician position at the Washington Hospital Center and began employment in November 1990 until April 1999. In April of 1999, during a couples bible study, God spoke to Apostle Vincent to tell Apostle Deborah to come home and rear her boys. Apostle Deborah remained a stay home mom until the boys were eleven years old. Her volunteer efforts in the school with her boys opened a door of employment in elementary school. In 2008, Apostle Deborah found herself facing the most traumatic circumstance any parent could imagine. The youngest triplet's health took a drastic decline and forced Apostle Deborah to quit her job and become a full-time bedside caregiver. In 2017 after much prayer and fasting through her son's healing, Apostle Deborah discovered her true passion and returned to school at Virginia Union University to pursue licensure as an elementary teacher. Apostle Price has been employed with the Richmond Public School's Charter school as a 5th grade teacher since 2019. Apostle Deborah A. ("F.P.C.O.D."). She served as the Secretary and later VicePresident of the First Pentecostal Churches of Deliverance National Youth Department for eight years. Later, Apostle Deborah faithfully served six years as President of the National Women's Department for F.P.C.O.D. During her tenure with F.P.C.O.D, Apostle Price served the late Founder, Apostle Robert L. Garner, by assisting and co-writing with her husband, Apostle Dr. Vincent Price, a Church Manual, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, defining Church functions and Ministerial positions In obedience to God and her husband, Apostle Deborah stepped out in faith and was installed alongside her husband, Apostle Dr. Vincent Price, as Pastor of New Jerusalem Ministries in Richmond, Virginia, by the late Apostle Robert L. Garner and the F.P.C.O.D Presbytery on February 1, 2002. While in Richmond, Virginia, Apostle Price worked tirelessly beside her husband to assemble Churches of other denominations to meet every fifth Sunday for Fellowship. This Fellowship led to an Annual Holy Convocation for the Churches in the Richmond, Virginia area, regardless of denomination. Apostle Deborah was finally comfortable in her prophetic mantle and began to assemble women from all walks of life who were broken and cast down. In 2003 her ministry, Between Barrenness and Birth, was brought forth by the Holy Spirit. Many women have found their deliverance in this prophetic ministry. However, God continued to mold the woman of God into His perfect will, and He was not near the finish with His daughter. God called Apostle Deborah to the Apostleship in 2014, and after much resistance, she surrendered and went through consecration by Apostle Dr. Vincent Price on November 19, 2016. GIFT OF ANOTHER BREATH - A MIRACLE Angella Dixon-Watson What would you do if you heard knee jerking words "You have aggressive Pancreatic Cancer, already in your lymph nodes and the Oncology team will discuss your treatment protocol?" What thoughts would be racing through your mind? I promptly wrote my Celebrating the Life of Angie Program and identified participants. I knew that my family and friends would do a grand Repast featuring excellent Caribbean cuisine with steel drum and reggae musicians playing song "How Great Thou Art." Frankly, my husband, Ira and I were speechless -- felt ambushed! HERE'S THE BACKDROP TO MY 5 YEAR JOURNEY WITH GOD HOLDING MY HANDS In Spring 2016, I had my annual physical and was pleased that I had perfect health. Four weeks later I suddenly started experiencing 3 symptoms: Itchy skin, Jaundice and Rapid

Proverbs 18:15: "An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge and understanding." For reliable information, visit www.letswinpc.org With surgery and recovery successful, treatment options were discussed. I hesitated doing treatment. My premise was "I knew no one who survived PC so why torture myself." My Oncologist intuitively said "Why don't you give treatment a try because your result may be different from others?" I replied, "If I don't do treatment, how much time would I have?" and she said "Up to six months." My treatment included chemo and radiation over 7-1/2 months. God's word says "I will get what I speak" Proverbs 18:21. When I started taking chemo,: I used to speak "I'm going to take this poison" BUT God quickly reminded me to change my language and I started speaking "I'm going to take my healing medicine." Since God took me off all treatment
protocols as of April 2017, I take communion by myself with whatever I have at home. Here's why? I need the Blood of Jesus to keep me Quarantined. He bore our symptoms and sicknesses at the cross so that we may have health and wholeness. In addition, before drinking my herb teas or smoothies; I'll say aloud "Let the healing waters flow through my body this is a supplement but you are the healer" and ABBA, our father, performed a miracle. Heavenly father I thank you for not allowing me to destroy myself with my own words. During the interim of 5 years through July 2021, I received 13 No cancer found reports: THYROID, HEART, BONES NORMAL. NO DISEASE IN THE CHEST, LIVER, ABDOMEN, PELVIS, ADRENALS, SPLEEN NORMAL. BOTTOMLINE: NO NEW, NO PROGRESSIVE, NO METASTATIC DISEASE FOUND. Deuteronomy 31:8 "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” In addition to traditional treatment, believing God's healing promises, adopting healthy diet and lifestyle changes are keys to healing, along with a positive mental attitude. My next annual appointment is July 2022 and possible discharge. There is no standard protocol to keep seeing me and I don't have cancer. One member on the Oncology team told me

"My recovery is a miracle." Another said "In 15 years at the hospital only 3 made it to 5 years and I'm one of the 3." "To God be the Glory, Great Things He has Done." AS A BELIEVER IN THE WORD, I speak Nahum 1:9 “Sickness and disease shall not return a 2nd time. It's “NOT MY DESTINY.” Psalms 147: 3: "He heals broken hearts and bandages all wounds." Psalms 23:6 "Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life." During my darkest days I started journaling, which got me out of a melancholy mindset. Ira, who instantly became my primary caregiver; grandkids Cierra and Chase, children Dino and Raquel-Ann, daughter-in-law Cristy, family and friends motivated me. Dino's facebook post was a jaw dropper: "My mom had whipple surgery last month. Today we have found out the cancer has spread and she is battling pancreatic cancer. I have to hope that my mom can recover even though the odds aren't good. I have to wonder what's worse, losing a parent in the blink of an eye or watching them slowing leaving you." Page 39

CALLED TO THE FOURTH WATCH During the 4th watch, there are powerful encounters where we see the Kingdom of God coming to the earth. The scriptures reveal encounters such as when Jacob wrestled with God and met Him face to face just before entering into his destiny as Israel (Gen 32:22-31); when Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea (Ex.14:25-26); when Jesus walked on water (Matt. 14:25-26) and many other awesome occurrences. Rabbinical belief has taught that something happens at 3 a.m, and that there is a special visitation from God that occurs between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Many have been called to respond in prayer during this particular watch hour and I am just one of them. Though the road was rough, my response was and is still yes. The Fourth Watch Television show was born out of the livestream, which came at a time when I had nearly fallen into a state of prayerless. My prayer life was suffering because I had allowed outside circumstances to affect my state of effectiveness. God met me in the middle of all of that, interrupted my late night social media scrolling and brought to my attention how much time I was actually spending on social media; time that I could have been in prayer. I remember the night when God gave me literally 15 minutes to respond to prayer after he had already told me about holding prayer at 5 am. I had already made the flyer, but was still debating over whether I was going to commit to doing it. Before I knew it, it was as if a wind had carried me downstairs. I had not gone downstairs out of my own strength and before I knew it, I was livestreaming at 5 a.m. five days a week for a little over a year. In the beginning, there were several things that I had to overcome to be able to move forward in embarking upon this prayer assignment. One of the things that I had to look past was whether or not my prayer time would inconvenience others because I was praying and worshiping at 5 am. I learned that oftentimes the kairos time is inconvenient and that sometimes there is a crisis in the kairos. It may prove to be an inconvenience for the one who is walking in their assignment and it can also be an inconvenience for those attached to them. I recognized the time that I was in and am still in, for it is an appointed time. God had bestowed upon me a grace to hear him in a different way and was giving me revelation daily. It was as though I was sitting at Jesus’ feet everyday. A few years ago, I told my husband that while we are living in the house we are currently in, that God was going to do things in the area of television and other types of media. He has done just that. From the Fourth Watch Prayer livestream , God opened a door for me to take the concept and turn it into a television show. A year prior I had contacted the NOW Network to inquire about how to broadcast, but I did not have the knowledge, the resources, I had not birthed the show in prayer yet. Approximately a year later, God gave me a dream of sitting in front of a green screen. I told my husband, God said the time for TV is now. I did not have any knowledge of how to broadcast or even edit. I had no tools, no connections, but God put everything in place. I stepped out on faith and turned down one television contract to pick up the NOW Network only minutes after. A door opened just for me, in the time slot that was perfect for the assignment… a time near the the fourth watch hour. This time, I had received the vision, I had been doing the work, and now God was sealing the deal. I had nearly fallen into prayerlessness, but even in my state, God was waiting for me to use the grace that was given to me to overcome my obstacles and respond. The Fourth Watch saved my prayer life and has been instrumental in me being able to give birth to what God has put inside of me and has allowed me to function as a dispenser of the blessing for many, and for that I am grateful. Miracles were evident in the Bible during the fourth watch hour of prayer and I can truly say that I am a living testimony of the miracles of the fourth watch hour of prayer.

appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death (Prov. 14:12). Balancing family and ministry might seem like an oxymoron because at the end of the day, family is first, and balance doesn’t always seem feasible. No matter how hard it seems, the Bible admonishes us in 1 Timothy 5:8, “Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” I keep this in mind and work towards including my family in ministry. One of the ways I include them is by bringing them with me when I travel, including them in the planning and organizing of evangelistic work and allowing them to be a part of it when possible. I believe that as my children get older and are exposed to various assignments and territories, they will develop an understanding that will last a lifetime that can be passed on to their families. Working alongside my husband allows for an increase in understanding as well regarding the time and commitment needed to do the work.
Family
AND MINISTRY
Throughout the scriptures we see God’s design for the family as the foundational institution of society ordained by God. It is constituted by marriage and is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. While it consists of such, what makes a family unique and what keeps things interesting is the fact that each member comes with their own unique characteristics, talents, etc. Oftentimes we can forget this and attempt to ask of marriage and family what God never intended for it to give, which is a conflict free, perfect life. In Luke 12 we see a description of division as it applies to family. Jesus said in Luke 12:51-53, “Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” This is more than a description, but a promise of things that we would see. In the challenges that my family has faced, one thing that has kept us is the Word. My husband does very well in looking through the redemptive eyes of Christ when there are challenges whether they are in the immediate or external family. I can attest to having experienced challenges in my family, but if it were not for the Word, I like many others would have settled things my own way. Thankfully, the Bible cautions us of the fact that there is a way that Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition
Right now, adhering to a schedule is key. Everything that I do from recording to writing books is done at night when my family is asleep. This is a sacrifice, but when I look back at those sleepless nights and all that has been accomplished thus far, it has been well worth it. What keeps me grounded is knowing that parents have the primary responsibility and God-given authority to teach their children. On days when I feel like slacking, I remember that it is not only a responsibility, but a privilege to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, that they may come to know Christ (Eph. 6:4). I am reminded that parents are responsible for their children's general education (Gal. 4:1-2 ) as well as their spiritual and theological education (Deut. 6:6-9, Prov. 1:7). On top of ministry, I work from home and teach my two children Malachi who is 4 and Jael who is 2. Our days and weekends are filled with learning, playtime and worship. They love messianic worship music and even sing in Hebrew. I often find Malachi and Jael lifting their hands and singing Kadosh which means holy in Hebrew. Malachi worships everywhere we go and Jael dances and is now making her own songs unto the Lord. I realize the significance of the impartation they receive from me as well as from the atmosphere we try to maintain in our home. My husband is great with doing Bible study with the kids while making it fun and engaging. As a team, we work to bring the kingdom into our home so the presence of God becomes their reality and for all who may enter.

Patrice MucCular
Patrice has an immense love for children she worked as a pre-school teacher, program director for Boys & Girls Club and a social worker for the county of San Joaquin. She headed her second love, Jail Ministry in which she conducted singing and preaching sessions for incarcerated woman and men throughout the state. A project she started with her husband, Elder Vodie MucCular. Soon after the death of her husband she founded a new ministry, a non-denominational church in the city of Lodi, CA. She went back to college to obtain her master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. Patrice did all these things and more while battling breast cancer in 2010 and again in 2020. In 2021, she caught that awful covid virus and after a 13 day hospital stay she was able to beat it. God has allowed her to land on her feet repeatedly. Patrice continues to share her love of the Gospel by blogging on Facebook – A Widow’s Vision, to encourage widows and widowers alike, while navigating their grief. Patrice has three sons and is the grandmother of twelve. She is involved deeply in community activities; this hard working woman shows no sign of slowing down.

After getting married Patrice took on another level of service assisting her husband with his vision as a gospel promoter that lead the couple to co-host “Gospel Is” a good news television ministry on Comcast cable that ran 16 years. The Rehab Assignment is designed to help those that may be struggling with knowing their God given assignment and purpose. While developing their true God given identity. Because many times we are given titles by man that does not define who we really are. Such as, Single mother, divorcee, prostitute (THOT), single father, unfit father, deadbeat dad, etc., but God calls us daughters and sons. Therefore, we must sound the alarm for those who are being mandated to save themselves and their house to come to the Rehab Assignment. Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition

KINGSTREE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL KINGSTREE, SC High School, though it is coming to an end for me, is a stage of my life that I call ‘Growth”. It’s like the molder of every one’s clay. In high school you experience: disappointment, excitement, peer pressure, disloyalty, criticism, love, pain, intelligence and bittersweet moments! I, myself, has experienced it all! Starting out, it wasn’t hard making friends because I’d already known most people and I was always a people person. But, I can promise you that the big group of friends I started with my freshman year, they aren’t still here my senior year! Personally, I’ve continued to stay on the SuperIntendant Honor Roll. I was able to balance sports, basketball and church. I’m a full-time musician; meaning there were a lot of late nights and early mornings. Just recently, I graduated from Williamsburg Technical College before I even graduated from high school. This journey wasn’t easy but with prayer, consistency and dedication I made it! I now have many college acceptances, basketball offers and a lot of money from schools for education. If this was easy to do, everybody would be able to do it! My advice to anyone battling high school is to simply never give up and to have a prayer life! It’s difficult and you’re not going to want to deal with it everyday but know that I am proud of you and that YOU GOT THIS! Rashad Russell Flanders- Atlanta Georgia Soccer has been my niche for sometime now. I began playing at the age of 8. I dabbled in basketball and was pretty good at it but soccer and I connected on another level. I started playing soccer at the YMCA and was quickly invited to play with Savannah United by coach Jon Ferguson. I played soccer with Savannah United for 4 years and went on to play with two soccer clubs in South Carolina after leaving Savannah United. I also participated in the soccer programs at both my middle and high school teams while playing club soccer. My senior year of high school I decided I wanted to fulfill my desire to play football, and I did. I maintained fairly good grades, but during Covid it was quite an adjustment academically, physically and mentally. There was no more sports and I was very afraid that opportunities to advance to the next level would be lost. I got married had three beautiful daughters; LaMishia, Canishia and Nikki Griffin. I got divorced in 2000. I was left to raised my daughters as a single mom. It was hard until I started trusting God. I have since been blessed and remarried to my awesome husband Mario Owens. Where I have a bonus daughter Misty Owens and a bonus son Kendall Owens. i have 5 beautiful grand kids . I started my catering business back in July 2016. I started it on a vision and faith. All my start up came out of pocket. I did not get any loans or had any money in the bank. It just goes to show you when God give you the vision he will also give you the provision. When I started the business our building was very small. We have since added additional space to accommodate more space in our dining area. Right after our renovation is when Covid hit and shut everything down. I was worried at first and then I had to tell myself; God gave you this vision He would dare not let it die. I continued to pray and trust in God and we have survived a lot of obstacles that have came forth. Our restaruant part of the business is open on fridays from 5pm to 9pm for seafood. We have started doing pickup meals on Thursdays from 5pm- 9pm. We are looking in the very near future to add our Sunday soul food lunches back. Thank You, Janice

oel McCray
THE PRODUCER AND ARTIST
BY JOEL MCCRAY He was only 18-months old when he began to play recognizable melodies. According to his mother, Joel McCray never banged on the keys of the piano. He would take a few fingers to explore the different sounds. However, at 18 months old, his mother began to recognize the melodies. Joel was the son of a Baptist preacher, Roosevelt McCray, and an evangelist and church music minister, Ruby McCray. Thus, as the saying goes, “whenever the doors of the church were open” the McCrays were there. While carrying him in her womb, Ms. McCray would sit and play at the piano and pray over her unborn child that her baby would be anointed with the gift of music. Ms. McCray’s prayers did not go unanswered. Before Joel turned two, she discovered that he could not only pick out the melodies he heard at church, but he was actually playing the melodies in the same key. By the age of five, Ms. McCray created a music studio in their home to start giving piano lessons. In 1975, Joel became one of her first students. It was around 1976 that Ms. McCray found herself struggling with a few of the chord progressions of the great song “Be Grateful” by Walter Hawkins. To her surprise, she heard her young six-year-old playing the song like a polished pro. It was then, at the age of six, that Joel started playing for the adult choir on Sunday mornings. His feet dangling from the piano bench or resting on an empty box of ginger snap cookies, Joel began his career of being a church musician. He studied classical, gospel, ragtime, and contemporary music through his mother’s home-school of music. Through Ms. McCray’s teaching, he learned how to read music and understand classical theory which would become a significant anchor in his professional, music career. During his teenaged years, Joel McCray struggled to find his place in church music. The sounds that played in his head didn’t mirror the soul-stirring harmonies of traditional or contemporary gospel.

Page 72
Joel was hearing harmonies in his mind that gave him chills; however, when he explored those harmonies during the singing of the church hymns, the mothers of the church were not having it. It was a weekly highlight to be able to hang out after church and play the piano until the deacons kicked you out. However, the consistent message Joel heard was that, God didn’t want that worldly music in the Lord’s house. That was the beginning of some very dark years. To add to the pressures of that anxiety, Joel’s parent ended up divorcing when he was 15 years old. It was then, Joel found himself completely lost, angry with his father, buried in racism at school, and unsure of what career path to take. For the first time in his life. Music was no longer an outlet, and the soundtrack of music in his mind went silent. Music was his inspiration, but Joel heard nothing. With every passing second, rage and resentment began to swell inside of Joel’s heart, but God had a ram in the bush. This would become Joel’s new love – track and field. At the sound of the gun, Joel could release his rage with each step down the track. That rage led him to district, regional, and state, high-school, 1A champion in the 100m, 200m, and long jump. His high school track accomplishments opened the door for him to get a full scholarship to the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where he would become one of the most decorated athletes in UTA’s history with event championships, All-American status, a 1992 Olympic trials invitation, university records, and a Hall of Fame induction. He also graduated with honors and with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree focusing in Finance. However, upon graduating from UTA, the rage and resentment returned like a rogue wave. His track career was completed, and a career in music was nowhere in sight. Silence still occupied the seats of the vibrant orchestra that used to fill his mind. To add insult to injury, Joel found himself working a 9-5, corporate job at a large, commercial bank. Although he was thankful for a job, it did not align with his purpose or passion – music.
Joel eventually left banking and became a worship pastor for a few North Texas, mega churches. He served in that capacity for nearly 12 years until he decided to pursue his first love, composition, teaching, music directing and performing. Joel has been playing the piano for over 50 years, and has served in the local church for over 45 years. He has also produced several projects: New Beginnings (2000), Worship 2001 – He Reigns, Song for You (2003), Merry Christmas to You (2003), Christmas Joy (2008), The Invitation – a collaboration with Joseph Vincelli (2011), Sing The Word, a collaboration with his wife, Bridget McCray, Meritage (2013), Hymns Unplugged (2013), Cohesion (2015), Envision (2017), Love Poetry (2017), I’m All Yours (R&B) (2018), Merry Christmas to You, vol. 2 (2020), and Klassy – the single (2021). He has also produced and performed on many projects with other artists. He has performed with some amazing artists and musicians. They include, Kirk Franklin, Joseph Vincelli, Kirk Whalum, Darren Rahn, Marcus Anderson, Vandell Andrew, Tim Bowman, Peter White, Jazmin Ghent, and many more. Joel is the founder of J & B Music Ministries – a performance, production, and equipping company. He currently serves as director virtual of curriculum and lead teaching artist at The Artist Outreach, music director of Word of Truth Family Church of Arlington, keyboardist for the Joseph Vincelli Band, music director for Cool Jazz Forever, music director of Collin County Jazz Collective, and music director of Lola’s groove. Joel currently lives in Arlington, Texas with his amazing ,beautiful family, Bridget, his wife of over 22 years, and high schoolers Nicholas and Jada. As an educator, producer, coach, performer, and consultant, Joel’s purpose and passion is to help others live a fulfilled life of inspiration and purpose, of continual education, and effective execution.
The healing and realignment began once Joel had a time of reconciliation with his father. By letting go of the past hurt and unforgiveness, the flood of rage, resentment, and anxiety disappeared. The music began to play again in his mind, and inspiration soon returned. Mogul Leaders Magazine Summer Edition

Business And Ministry By Genesis
Business in my point of view is meeting people’s need Like a way of buying what people need then sell it to them to get profit from what you sold out Business is a broad term, but these profit-seeking activities generally include providing some kind of good or service that people want or need. Businesses may experience a loss, but that doesn't stop them from being a business. All that's important from the standpoint of defining a business is that the entity seeks to profit from what it does. Music is a business. Ministry is a business What is music? Music is a personality. The soul behind the music is that music "My music is the spiritual expression of what I am - my faith, my knowledge, my being ... When you begin to see the possibilities of music, your desire to do something really good for people, to help humanity free itself from its hangups ... I want to speak to their souls." Music was given to us to make the world a better place Without music this life will be empty. I am into music so this is the business I do I bring out my emotions in form of music and sell it out there to bless or impact someone And what I get in return is profits from the CD sold or show I organize.
Types of ministry. Ministry is in two phases What is ministry. Ministry is service. When we serve we meet people’s 1. Capacity (The anointing, the spiritual aspect of needs In the other hand ministry is meeting people’s needs through ministry ) the gift of God giving to use. Our gift was given to bless lives and meet 2. Gift ( This is the gift and it’s the non spiritual people’s needs. Ministry is work and not a job. A work is what you do aspect of ministry) Ministry is given for the body of Christ to be edified for a lifetime while a job is what you do to earn a living. You get and to grow into the fullness of Christ. Ephesians employed to a job but you employ yourself to a work. Work is what you have full knowledge of, what you are so experience about. 4:11-13 Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: It’s called the 5 fold ministry To everyone into ministry we have an office where we belong here in this office John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Jesus Christ was a perfect example for us about ministry he balanced it on all sides He made us understand that ministry is a work. To every man going into ministry this thre things must be considered very well before launching into ministry this three keys will sustain and keep the man or woman going Even when trials arise. 1. Know who your caller (Who called you into ministry) 2. Know what you are called to do( Your lane, your message, what your message is) 3. Know who you are called to ( know your audience, the message you has got who are those you ara sent to speak it to,) This three things is very important in ministry.
