The Mosque

Project Goal:

The aspiration for the mosque was to have a unique contemporary take on what a mosque could be

Summary:

The mosque follows the buildings curvilinear shape, by being circular in plan. The mosque is then surronded in a hypostyle of coulmns that support a tensile strucure which form a parabolic vaulted arches. the combination allows cutting edge materials to confrom to the islamic context of the building. The minaret is then given minimal treatment to portray the contemporary style. The tensile structure allows for more usable space for prayer, but also allows vasts amount of light to bath the inside of the mosque, wihtout having an added strain on the HVAC system.

The Club Houses

The clubhouses are essential to the resort, as they act as meeting area for guests of the residents. They also provide unique entertaiment facilities such a cinema rooms, bunjee jumping, Resturants, Gym, gold simulators, as well many other things. They also act as visual points that alert users that they are entering a diffrent part of the resort .
