‫ هعلوهات هتخصصة‬-‫ب‬ - Professional Information Objectives of the program 1- Provide the international Management education that enables its graduates from the Middle East and African Regional to be effective managers. 2- Develop the ability of participants from Airlines, Civil Aviation authorities and airports to operate effectively and manage the drastic changes regulatory, economically and politically. 3- Providing a program which highly integrated, relevant to the current situation. 4- Bringing practical business professional experience as well as academic background both in one professional program.

Attributes of the graduates of Aviation Management The graduate must be able to: 1. Acquire knowledge of aviation industry, concepts of aviation management and airline marketing which enables the participant to deal with current trends. 2. Evaluate the strategy for any airline through managerial and economic issues. 3. Describe procedures of strategic management, planning and management for airline development 1


4. Understand the concepts of operation and economic values for airlines. 5. Illustrate the challenges facing the aviation industry. 6. Acquire knowledge of safety, security and risk management in aviation industry 7. Understand the basics of legislations and legal issues 8. Understand the crisis management process and the formation of the crises team as well as the qualifications of members 9. Work efficiently within multi-disciplinary teams. 10. Communicate effectively, Decision making 11. Display professional responsibilities and ethical, societal and cultural concerns 12. Recognize the need to engage in-self and life-long learning. 13. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) Intended learning Outcomes (ILOs) of the Computer Science Program – The Benchmark for expected student performance These ILOs represent the various capabilities that a graduate of the program is expected to possess. They represent the average benchmark expected of a graduate performance and is used to guide formulate the intended learning outcomes of courses in the program. They are divided up into four levels, as follows:

A. Knowledge and Understanding The graduate must be able to: 1. Identify the Importance of the aviation industry, its operations and managerial issues 2. Illustrate the theories of sales operation at airlines, Cargo, operation, revenue management, and ground services 3. Illustrate the Characteristics of aviation industry, including charter airline operations and airline operations in remote regions; airline productivity and efficiency; airline distribution and marketing; airline alliance strategy and the low-cost airline business model and operations. 4. Know the Principles of Economics in Air transport industry and community. 5. Define topics related to trends as deregulation, liberalization and globalization stimulate the internationalism of airlines, which results in the emergence of global carriers. 6. Identify methodologies for accomplishing research paper.
