AKOYA VILLAS Overlooking spectacular views of fairways and greens, Akoya’s elegant residences are furnished with golf-oriented amenities, including lockers, storage, and access to the grounds via individual golf carts. The facilities for both villas and apartments include a beautiful clubhouse featuring fine dining, a ‘19th Hole’ casual dining room, and a Pro Shop offering all the new equipment and lessons necessary for golfers at all skill levels. One of the major themes of the design was the integration between exteriors and interiors, and as such the villas are part of the garden and the views of the golf in the distance. The outside walls are finished in natural stone, which gives the villas a solid, monolithic appearance. The apartment buildings are composed of overlapping slabs, with hanging gardens on every floor. This creates a vertical village that blurs the indoor with the outdoor and the privacy of a home with the exteriority of the landscape.

Located at the edge of the Dubai waterfront, the Maritime City Residential Development is a study in façade design for the Omniyat Company. Using the traditional construction as a stepping off point, the study worked to create distinctly modern structure from the same skeleton. The study mixes solids and voids, projected balconies and recesses to create a dynamic interplay of lightness. The mixing of projections and recesses reinforces the sense that the structure has been assembled with intersecting modular construction rather than a solid traditional form YEAR : 2013 PROJECT SIZE : 3,716 SM COMPLETION DATE : 2017 PROJECT STATUS : UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Located at the top of the city of Riyadh, the family compound respect the suroundings by implementing simple elements to integrate the project with the surrounding nature by respecting the inclination of the site and producing the stepped landscape accordingly. The stepped landscape gave the project an interesting approach by defining each building space and providing the semi privacy required for every building on site. The design of the project reflects the modern architecture by providing open spaces plan to enhance the transparancy in the buildings and allow natural daylighting in the buildings. The building’s facade reflected the interior not only with modern architecture but also by implementing an islamic theme to produce the perfect sense of place could be delivered on site

DSOA OFFICE BUILDING U.A.E. - DUBAI - SILICON OASIS The concept behind the office building goes around introducing a courtyard in the middle of the building mass to deliver a communal space within the building . The production of the courtyard gave the opportunity to increase the inward and outward views of the building and increased the daylighting in all the offices in the building. In terms of connectivity the courtyard acts as a transaction space between the two entrances of the building. The pixelated facade gives the building a shading skin which helps to minimize the solar gain and at the same time gives an iconic character to the building

SANKARI RESIDENCE U.A.E. - DUBAI - PALM JUMEIRAH The challenge faced in the palm jumeirah mansion is to rennovate the whole mansion style from classic to modern according to the client’s request, which came up with an interesting approach to deliever one of the most luxurious mansions in the palm in terms of choice of materials and spaces. The competition winning design of the retail center consist of introducing an atrium in the building to deliver skylight inside the building that reduces the use of artificial lighting in the center. Developing the zoning daigram gave the opporunity to introduce an open space plan to increase the selling space and provide flexibility in the future developments.

SUSTAINABLE STADIUM U.A.E. - DUBAI The concept behind the stadium derives from the sand dunes of united arab emirates sahara to form a smooth outstanding facade wraping around the 80,000 seats stadium that can host the world’s largest events, that suits dubai’s place in the world. The stadium implements new sustainable concept and sustainable solutions to deliver temperature comfort to the spectators during the match time by using different type of natural ventilation ideas and natural wind cooling.

IDEAL THEATRE U.A.E. - SHARJAH Ideal Theatre concept development was derived from sustainable design solutions like creating a wind tunnel where the building forms a U shape design that attracts wind towards the tunnel and create a wind path, where that increases the speed and the amount of wind after the tunnel towards the outdoor theatre and restaurants takes place. Water surfaces where placed infront of the tunnel which create natural cooling to the wind passing through the tunnel.
