Courtyards are very important components in the buildings. They link the entrance to the other parts of the building and they play big rule in illuminating and ventilating the buildings. In Al-Mareejah the shape of the courtyards were random, that matched with the organic patern of the area. Nevertheless, in some houses the courtyards were square in shape. Moreover, they were divided into parts to increase the privacy of the houses and give freedom for the users

IDEAL THEATRE
Ideal Theatre concept development was derived from creating a wind tunnel where the building forms a U shape design which attracts the wind towards the tunnel and create a wind path, where that increases the speed and the amount of wind after the tunnel where the outdoor theatre and restaurants takes place. Water surfaces where placed infront of the tunnel which create natural cooling to the wind passing through the tunnel

Residential Building
The project rquired the maximum amount of aparatments in each floor. Interacting the landscape within the building, allowed the building to expand to a bigger span and use the maximum space allowed on the site, which provided bigger number of apartments in each floor. The new idea also create open shafts along the building to allow natural sunlight and ventilation to the building. Interacting the landscape within the building created unique interior to the building which gives it the sense of lightness.
