The brief was to renovate the existing kids bedroom where in two children of the client would stay a boy and girl. The client wanted to take the balcony within the room giving more space for the kids to play. The colour palette of the room was to be beige and grey. A study with tv unit was to incorporated and in the extended balcony space a ledge seating and the chair in the corner with a tent above it was to be added. Most importantly we were asked to provided as much storage as possible and the end product should be appealing for the kids.

The problem faced during this project was getting the balcony within the room as it is an apartment building so lots of permissions were taken apart from that everything went smoothly

Plan Of Order For Work

1. Moving the existing furniture from the room

2. Getting permissions for the extension of balcony

3. Breaking the balcony wall and getting the UPVC structure made

4. Making the TV and study unit

5. Back paneling for bed back wall

7. Making the bed with ears

8. Changing the wardrobe shutter

9. Installing seating ledge in the extended space

10. Getting everything setup

Furniture layout with the extension included

Development of Study and TV unit which was made in HDHMR board and was finished in PU paint. Different options for colour scheme for wardrobe and tv unit. In accordance to that colour scheme for the bed back panel as well. The two colours chosen were beige and offwhite which were to be used throughout.

Different iterations of seating ledge where initially there was just a seating benc with under drawers and then decided to have storage on the sides as well. Tried a few options with side storage shutter with fluting then open shelves and finally decided to have them in a similar design at the wardrobe

FROZEN FUN, KIOSK

The brief was to design a kiosk for FROZEN FUN which is a famous gelato brand in Delhi. The design of the kiosk should be such that in the given space a 7ft wide display unit should fit with enough space for cash counter and preparation unit. The colours to be used were the brand colours and in the design provision for product advertisement should be given. The design should be simple giving main focus to the brands products.

The design for the kiosk was frozen within a weak after obtaining the project and after that the handover was done within 1.5months after that. The sqft of the kiosk was 80sqft.

2. Post approval, getting the structure made

3. Getting metal framework made

4.Adding fluting to the kiosk

5. Getting signages made

7. PU paint work done on the kiosk and powder coating on metal frmae

8. Installing the kiosk at mall
