2018 Q3 Donor Impact Report Supporter Spotlight
Committed to Building and Giving - Alumni Making Significant Financial Contributions The Ambassador Circle is made up of former Moishe House residents, Moishe House Without Walls hosts and Retreat alumni who have made the commitment to support Moishe House with a minimum annual gift of $180. This year, we ran a fundraising campaign with a goal of bringing 31 new Ambassadors into the circle, one for each day of the month in July. By July 31st,
KORET FOUNDATION
33 NEW Ambassadors were added to the circle collectively raising $10,000!
Donor Since 2010
As of September 2018, there are now over 105 Moishe House Ambassadors. “The Koret Foundation enthusiastically supports various forms of Jewish engagement and outreach for our diverse Bay Area community. We are particularly interested in programs that help Jews in their 20s connect with their peers and create long term Jewish community participation. For many of them, the years between finishing college and starting families are a transition period. Young Jews are looking for meaning, purpose, and community, and opportunities for engagement that are grass roots, self-generated, and non-institutional resonate with them. Moishe House exemplifies this approach. In twelve short years, Moishe House has grown from a start-up into a global leader in home-based, peer-led Jewish programming for young adults.”

MHWOW hosts - Phoenix “Moishe House plays an invaluable role in strengthening the Jewish community, both in our hometown and at large, and we couldn’t be happier to support such an amazing organization.”
MHWOW host - NYC “As a millennial nomad, I’ve moved across the world three times since 2012. Moishe House has had a profound impact on who - and how - I’ve made friends in each new city.”
Beyond the Donation We value opportunities for community builders to meet and engage with folks that make their work possible. Here are some highlights from recent visits. Moishe House Mexico City residents celebrated an Open House/Mezuzah Hanging surrounded by their parents, members of the community and MH senior staff. They continue to thrive and expand their reach even after losing their house to the earthquake just over a year ago. Moishe House Mexico City September 2018
Moishe House Miami - Midtown residents hosted a special Latin American-themed Shabbat to celebrate their home cultures, flavors and traditions with Moishe House Board member Jarrod Beck, MH senior staff, JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet alumni and MH Ft. Lauderdale and Miami residents, alumni and community members. Moishe House Miami-Midtown September 2018

“Moishe House was my first-ever experience to be a part of a worldwide Jewish network of young professionals and to expand the borders. Now, as a successful Jewish innovator, I support Moishe House to give a chance to thousands of my peers to reach their dreams and be successfully Jewish.”
Moishe House’s 2nd International Resident Tour of 2018 took place in August, welcoming MH Buenos Aires resident alumna Valeria Levin to the United States. She had the opportunity to share her unique story with leaders from local Foundations and Federations. Thank you to MH supporters Jon and Susie Diamond for hosting Valeria for Shabbat dinner in Aspen. Thank you to MH Board members Russ Robinson, Ben Lusher and Jarrod Beck for their work in planning and leading this visit!

Without Moishe House, many young adults would miss opportunities to create new Jewish memories with their friends at a critical time in their lives. And without you, Moishe House could not provide the support these young leaders need to create relevant communities for their peers.
