Notes to Proposer and Seconder: • Under the Rules,Proposers and Seconders must have been members of the Club for at least three years, and must be personally acquainted with the candidate, and responsible for his or her eligibility.

• The comments submitted by the Proposer and Seconder in support of the candidate should be in as much detail as possible, and will be relied on by the Membership Subcommittee when making their assessment as to the suitability of the candidate.

• Members of Porters Park Golf Club are only allowed to propose and second two candidates in any period of 12 months.

• The Membership Sub-committee will require the Proposer and/or Seconder to arrange one or two rounds of golf at the Club for the candidate with members of the Playing-in Panel.
