CLUB COVID RULES Stop at Temperature scanning on way into reception. Please come prepared and changed to reduce congestion and potential waiting time in changing areas. Any Child toilet accidents in changing rooms must be reported and cleaned by the parent - cleansing /disinfectants will be provided. Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINK is allowed at poolside or changing rooms. Water fountains for filling bottles only - not for drinking from personally. Walking direction gym and pool to be followed. No bags/ items to be brought into the gym itself. Any left in lockers overnight will be removed - lost property will not be in force. Locker hire is currently suspended. Regular sanitation/hand washing and 2m distancing. Face masks should be worn in the corridors and are available at reception for those who haven’t brought one.
Only one person at a time to be logged in at reception by scanning or completing form if a non member.
Swimming Pool Rules Pool users attending but not taking lessons must complete the Health & Safety -Track & Trace form at Reception. (Members only require to scan in) Bookings are required for NON Members MUST to book in for swimming Swim bands must be worn in the pool at all times except when attending swim lessons. NO FOOD or DRINK is allowed at poolside or in changing rooms whatsoever. NO SHOES are allowed past shower areas. Your own Flip Flops are not allowed, as bacteria could be left on them from anywhere else.
For lessons handover, children under 8 should go to instructor, with parents monitoring from changing room plastic curtains. Parents must vacate the building after children are dropped off, unless they have special needs or require to be in the pool with them. NO prams, car carriers and pushchairs are allowed in the changing rooms. Please leave them in the lobby area before reception. Belongings MUST be placed in lockers and padlocks used to secure. Anything left in changing rooms during lessons will be removed to lost property. Children over 8 years old are required to change in the correct gender changing room. Children under 5 years must be supervised one-on-one and swim nappies are required.
All nappies must be disposed of in nappy sacks before placing in nappy bins provided. Swim Schools must ensure changing areas are clean and tidy after use from classes and that nappy bags are disposed of in external bins. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by another adult in the pool at all times if not in lessons. Strictly ONE Adult per Child at ALL TIMES. Children are NOT permitted in the gym or in the spin bike area under any circumstances, even under adult supervision. Instructors to ensure parents and children adhere to all of the above whilst at Energize. Saunas are not operational until further notice and are only for persons aged 16 and over.
SWIMMING POOL Swimmers should aim to keep 2m apart. A maximum of 8 persons are permitted in any of our widened lanes currently. Parents are not allowed at poolside unless for special needs by appointment. The Viewing Gallery is closed for your safety until further notice. Swimmers should come “swim ready�, with clothing on and ready, to help prevent shower congestion. Be on time and ready for your swim lesson, if late it will eat into the lesson time and potentially cause changing room congestion.
Be prepared to wait for access should capacity be maximised at any time.
Follow the one way system at poolside when entering and leaving the pool. Shower before and after pool use. If showers are full, shower at home to save congestion.
