If you’re using sock yarn use size 1 needles and safety eyes smaller than 4.5 mm. I used 4.5mm safety eyes but they seem a little big. If you’re using worsted weight yarn use size 4 needles and 6 mm safety eyes. If you’re using bulky yarn use size 7 needles and 6mm safety eyes Safety eyes are only good for kids over 3 years old.

If you are making this for kids under 3, or you don’t want to buy safety eyes, you can sew eyes with yarn or embroidery floss.

Attach safety eyes Knit 4 rows Stuff body. Break yarn and pull end through stitches.

Legs Cast on 8 stitches in the round Knit 6 rows Purl 1 row K2tog around Cut thread and pull end through stitches. Stuff legs and sew on to body making sure the dinosaur can stand. Weave in ends.
