Park Club Swim School Guidelines for Parents/Guardians and children We ask that you respect these guidelines at all times for your child’s safety and the comfort of our members. 1.

Please be considerate of all users.

2.

Parents/Guardians must stay with their children at all times and remain on the site during lessons. Please keep all other children with you at all times.

3.

Please do not allow your children to run in the Club.

4.

Children are only permitted in the reception and pool areas. Please do not allow your children to access other areas, including the mezzanine above the F.I.T Zone area. This is for your child’s safety.

5.

Pupils should not drink or eat at least one hour prior to the lesson.

6.

Please use the changing cubicles provided. This area is also used by other members so please ensure all belongings are removed and placed in lockers once you have finished.

7.

Pupils should arrive on time and go to the toilet before their lesson.

8.

Please remove all jewellery.

9.

Please ensure that goggles are adjusted and fitted properly as valuable time is often wasted while a teacher adjusts goggles. Fit them at home and try them in the bath first to ensure a snug fit.

10. No child must enter the water before the class teacher has requested them to do so. 11. Parents wishing to watch their child from the viewing area must adhere to the following: • Please do not use any image capturing devices. • Please don’t distract your child during their lesson. • Please keep noise levels to a minimum. • No food or drinks (excluding water) are allowed on the poolside. • Please ensure you wear blue overshoes or remove outdoor shoes before entering poolside.
