Swimming Pool Swimmers must come prepared, with clothing on and ready, to help prevent shower congestion. Pool users attending but not taking lessons must complete the Health & Safety -Track & Trace form at Reception. (Members only require to scan in) Swim bands must be worn in the pool at all times except when attending swim lessons. NO FOOD or DRINK is allowed at poolside or in changing rooms whatsoever. NO SHOES are allowed in or past the shower areas. Your own Flip Flops are not allowed, as bacteria could be left on them
from anywhere else. Blue shoe covers are provided For lessons handover, children under 8 should go to instructor, with parents monitoring from changing room plastic curtains. Parents must vacate the building after children are dropped off, unless they have special needs or require to be in the pool with them. NO prams, car carriers and pushchairs are allowed in the changing rooms. Please leave them in the lobby area before reception. Belongings MUST be placed in lockers and padlocks used to secure. Anything left in changing rooms during lessons will be removed to lost property. Children over 8 years old are required to change in the correct gender changing room. Children under 5 years must be supervised one-on-one and swim nappies are required. All nappies must be disposed of in nappy sacks before placing in nappy bins provided.
Nappies must be disposed of with nappy sack covering prior to placing in the designated Nappy Bins OR taken home. Swim Schools must ensure changing areas are clean and tidy after use from classes and that nappy bags are disposed of in external bins. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by another adult in the pool at all times if not in lessons. Children are NOT permitted in the gym or in the spin bike area under any circumstances, even under adult supervision. Instructors to ensure parents and children adhere to all of the above whilst at Energize. Saunas are not operational until further notice and are only for persons aged 16 and over. Swimmers should aim to keep 2m apart. A maximum of 8 persons are permitted in any of our widened lanes currently. Parents are not allowed at poolside unless for special needs by appointment.
Strictly one Parent is allowed to assist in changing a child who is having a lesson. No additional children / babies / family members are allowed into the changing areas. The Viewing Gallery is closed for your safety until further notice. Viewing is not permitted from the pool windows due to the Tram Lines being directly behind. Be on time and ready for your swim lesson, if late it will eat into the lesson time and potentially cause changing room congestion. Follow the one way system at poolside when entering and leaving the pool. Showering time should be minimised or shower at home, to prevent congestion. Facemasks must be worn in corridors and changing areas Toilet accidents in changing rooms must be reported and cleaned by the parent cleansing /disinfectants will be provided.
