MOM KOUMBA® is a brand of KOUMBA FOODS SL, founded in Murcia in October 2020 by Louise Basse (CEO), her sister Justine Basse, Jordi Pifarré & Iván Delgado.
KOUMBA FOODS SL is a gastro-social project created to manufacture and promote african food and drinks, publicize Africa through its cuisine and collaborate with different social projects carried out in different countries of the african continent.

To guarantee excellence and safety in the manufacture of our products, MOM KOUMBA requires the certification International Featured Standards (IFS) to all plants where it produces.
All our products are made in Europe with selected and fresh ingredients, without preservatives, colorants or flavor enhancers.
MOM KOUMBA currently has a capacity of production of 36,000 kg per day.

DORO WAT
A mild spiced and spiced sauce originally from Ethiopia similar to the traditional tomato sauce. Made with carefully selected tomatoes, onions, ginger, garlic and berbere spices. Doro Wat is often served with the traditional Ethiopian bread called Injera.
Tipsonuse
Heat for a few minutes and it will be ready to pour over Injera (Ethiopian sour bread), can also be applied on rice, couscous or pasta. Before heating DORO WAT, you can cook in a pan meat, chicken or fish and then pour the sauce on top until it takes temperature.

Traditional peanut sauce recipe from Senegal similar to some Asian currys sauces. Made with carefully selected peanuts, tomato and other vegetables. Maffé is traditionally served with meat over rice or couscous.

Exotic extra hot sauce originally from Madagascar for a similar use to the well-known Chimichurri sauce. Made with carefully selected hot peppers, ginger and garlic. Sakay is ideal for marinating meats and fish as well as salad dressings and many other dishes.

You can use SAKAY Mom Koumba to marinate meat, chicken and/or fish. Also as a spicy sauce on potatoes, obtaining an exotic and very special “brava sauce”.
