GRANVILLE ISLAND HOTEL
Granville Island Hotel is the most famous hotel on Vancouver Island. The hotel was inspired by Native art. I decided to use this for the deliverables and keep the wood effect. The deliverables I produced were engraved using the laser cutter which include a promotional book that will be in every room of the hotel. A dinner menu for the restaurant, door sign, letter heads, a stamp and a phone case for the hotel’s store.
The logo was inspired by the eagle which is ‘The master of skies’ and is a symbol of great significance. As the Hotel is at a very high class I thought this appropriate.
The promotional book was bound using the coptic binding which is a very effective way when using a hard back cover. Inside it has details about each room and some knowledge about the hotels background. It also has information of the hotel’s restaurant and directions of how to get there.
