Intelligent and talented for sure, he still credits something right here in the neighborhood as the true source of inspiration for his ideas and creative energies. “All of my ideas come from walking the beautiful hills of San Ramon,” says Kannan, with not a hint of exaggeration. “I hike all the hills and trails in the morning. I just love this place and how inspiring it always is to me.” Kannan actually launched his first company, Aximsoft, in Fremont in

On-Site Car Wash At Bishop Ranch On-Site Car Washing Amenity Exclusively for Bishop Ranch Tenants Green Wash Car Wash, a new service exclusively for Bishop Ranch tenants, is bringing their washing and detailing services to you while you work. Green Wash uses a special, waterless, biodegradable formula that is safe and environmentally friendly. How It Works The special no-drip solution is applied with a simple spray bottle. The cleaning staff use waterless solutions that contain a fine allnatural clay to break down dirt, road grime, and contamination in just seconds. Unique surfactants and lubrication agents emulsify dirt and contamination from the surface, and a microfiber towel picks them up for a scratch-free cleaning. Once the dirt is removed, the solution protects and shines the surface using all-natural carnauba wax – creating a brilliant shine on any color vehicle. The service will get underway on April 3, operating Monday through Friday from 9am – 4pm. Green Wash will be at BR2600 in the parking garage (3005 Bishop Drive) on Level 4, and at BR3 (2603 Camino Ramon) on Level 4 in the parking garage. Scheduled or walk-in appointments are welcome. Small vehicle cleaning will take about an hour, and the large vehicles will require an hour and a half. Upcoming Events: B2B Seminar and Technology Talk BR Tech Talk: Preventing Ransomware Attacks

B2B Seminar: Raising A Grateful Child

Computer infections by ransomware — a type of malicious software designed to block access to a computer system until a sum of money is paid — have increased dramatically. They can be especially troublesome because, unlike other malware infections that are largely preventable by network edge security devices and anti-virus software, ransomware is most often launched by email recipients who fail to recognize a suspicious email.

With so many constant and noisy influences affecting our children in this fast-paced world — from the internet to the dynamics of the classroom and the playground — it can be hard to make sure that they develop a true sense of appreciation for what life has given them.

The April Tech Talk will help attendees deal with how to prevent and recover from these attacks, with attention to the following: • The various kinds of ransomware • How to spot a phishing scam • Ransomware and phishing examples • How to prevent an attack • Steps to take during an attack • Real world examples of what companies have done to combat ransomware The seminar will include a live and interactive quiz to help people learn how to spot suspicious communications. There will also be information for network users on how to employ some good habits that can help prevent ransomware infections. Also discussed, on a general level, will be some backup schemes that can enable a company to recover quickly if an infection does occur. These seminars tend to book up quickly, and space is limited. Please call Community & Outreach at 925.543.0100 to RSVP. THURSDAY, MARCH 30, 12PM – 1PM 2600 CAMINO RAMON (BR2600) MAGNOLIA ROOM FREE

Join us as educators and parents discuss how to cultivate that sense of gratefulness. We will examine ways of teaching them how to gain perspective in life, and how to instill in them the important virtues that will remain with them as they grow into adulthood. In this hour-long and open-ended conversation, you will learn about strategies of the experts while also having a chance to gather practical advice from other parents. There’s often nothing quite like the life-learned tips from other parents who have learned the nuanced ways firsthand. This seminar is presented by Bright Horizons at Bishop Ranch, a leading provider of early education and preschools, employer-sponsored childcare, back-up care, educational advisory services and other work/life solutions. Bright Horizons at Bishop Ranch is located at 2603 Camino Ramon (BR3). Space at this seminar is limited. Please RSVP to Community & Outreach at 925.866.0100. THURSDAY, MARCH 23 12PM – 1PM 2600 CAMINO RAMON, (BR2600) MAGNOLIA ROOM FREE
