AMF Media Group
Favorite Aspect of Your Work: I’m a problem solver by nature. When a client has a real issue and it stands in the way of success, I love to help figure out a solution. There is nothing more rewarding than the look on the client’s face when the results come in. Least Favorite Task: Paperwork of any kind. What Makes You Excel? The scoreboard. I love to compete. I love to win. I hate to lose. I am always looking for ways to measure our performance on behalf of our clients and on how we stack up against other agencies. Suggestions for Young Professionals: I would say, “Be who you want to be. Life is too short to live up to the expectations of others. Find your own path and stay true to it.” A Goal You Still Want to Achieve: I would love to visit all 50 states before I turn 50. Each state has its own unique character and I’d love to experience all of them.
Company: AMF Media Group Year founded: 2007
Bishop Ranch Location: BR15 Business Type/Services: AMF Media Group is a full-service marketing and communications agency that enables clients to achieve meaningful consumer connections and actionable brand insights amid a rapidly changing media landscape. Our clients— some of the top brands across the country—have been covered in the Wall Street Journal, CBS News, NBC News and Modern Healthcare, as well as in key regional publications. Business Approach / Philosophy: My philosophy is to combine great ideas with real solutions and win. Biggest Challenge in Your Work: One of the realities of our field is that everyone who owns a television thinks they’re a marketing expert. On top of that, creative execution is a subjective practice. There is no formula to plug in. The key is to get clients to see the world through the eyes of their consumers, clients and potential audiences. Source of Inspiration: My faith.
What is Your Favorite Pastime: I’m a film buff, so one of my favorite things to do is to take in a great movie when I can. Unfortunately, these days there are so few great movies being made. How Do You Handle Stress: Usually a round of golf helps to ease my mind. If I really need a reset, a good work out usually does the job. I also enjoy the quiet peace of taking in a cigar in my backyard under an evening sky. Favorite Vacation Spot: Hawaii. It’s one of the perfect places to get away from it all. Favorite East Bay Restaurant: Gianni’s Italian Bistro, I love the gnocchi they serve. And the good news is they now serve lunch. Favorite Music or Other Form of Art: Old School R&B. It’s a timeless genre that never goes out of style. Is There a Special Cause That You Support? Over the years I have sat on a number of great nonprofit boards. I am partial to organizations that provide opportunities to the more disadvantaged segments of our community.

We’re On a Roll: Paper Towel Composting Bishop Ranch is expanding its “green” programs with an initiative to compost our biodegradable waste materials. As a first step, we will separate paper towels from other restroom trash and take the towels to a site for composting. Currently, all restroom trash is collected in a single bin, but soon we will label the bin “For Paper Towels Only” and provide a separate trash bin under the sink for all other waste. The paper towels will be collected and sent to a facility for composting. Once decomposed, the compost will be used for to enrich the soil at urban gardens and support landscaping at community centers and colleges. With your help, we can drastically reduce the volume of trash we send to landfill. We plan to expand composting to include specific food and other compostable materials in the near future.
visit Bishop Ranch to offer the crème de la crème of chocolates, caramels and other delights at discounted prices. Handsomely packaged gift boxes of all sizes will be available.
