For all the adventure lovers, the crazy, the wanderers and lost ones. Those who feel strong and measure themselves. For all who celebrate being alive and help often. Those who see the world, who see beyond the obvious and wonder. Those who draw closer and find each-other. The ones who are brave enough‌ to feel. You, who now walks into the wild.

kulturi The people of the Thule Culture were using paths and hunting grounds already familiar to other earlier immigrant groups in Greenland, dating back to the very first immigrants 4.500 years ago.
Around the area of Sermermiut by Ilulissat, archeological digs have provided unique insights into the different groups use of the same area for hunting and fishing and from the traces that they have left behind, we know that they travelled along the shores of Greenland as early as 2500 B.C. Although we have no written accounts from these earlier eras, an abundance of tools and settlements found throughout Greenland has confirmed that the Inuit cultures of the past were characterized by the same adaptability to the prevailing climate and geography as the modern day Greenlandic culture.
Whale Watching When the engine cuts, it is your cue to adjust your eyes and ears to high alert. Seconds and minutes feel like eternity as you hold your breath waiting for a sign. But suddenly comes the unmistakable sound of a whale exhaling at the water’s surface, and you, too, exhale at the beauty.
Things Worth Considering A note from a true Inuit
Respect and appreciate the nature Greenland is a country of mountains and ice. Greenlanders live for nature and want to preserve it the way it is. Animals live free and remain wild. Respect that we hunt and fish The Inuit have hunted for food for thousands of years. The animals we hunt live free in the wild. Do not come to Greenland if you’re going to judge our way of life. Everything is locally-owned You will not find any chain stores in Greenland. There are no Starbucks, McDonald’s, or Ikea. The culture is still very traditional and has not been fully affected by Western influence. We are not big on public transportation Due to mountainous coasts where the towns are located, there is not yet any road between them. That’s what makes Greenland such a unique destination. Above all, be kind We Greenlanders are happy people. We enjoy nature and we live a simple life. We love seeing foreigners coming to visit our beautiful country and if you happen to greet one of us, there’s a big chance we will invite you over for dinner!
